I didn’t stay at the hotel, however we visited the cafe while staying at RudhaNaCraig Guest House (walking distance) from the town. Heather was an incredible server! She was quick, kind, and pointed us in the right direction Sids Vintage shop (next to the jail). So check those places out. Pumpkin chai: 10/10. Flavorful, aromatic, and a big ole scoop of delicious whipped cream ontop. Sausage roll: 10/10. pastry was so beautifully layered and the sausage was made that morning. Yum! Leek & potato soup was great too. Sticky toffee pudding: 12/10 EXCELLENT. My husband loved it and so far has been his favorite one in our travels. Definitely stop by and stay a while!

We had booked into alternative accommodation locally, but we arrived in a cold spell to some frozen pipes. Luckily there was a room available at the Brambles, as we booked it over other local hotels as it looked more relaxed and homely. The rooms are really spacious, with beautiful interiors. It was so lovely coming back to such a cozy room after walking around the snowy loch. It was also great to be situated in the middle of Inverary, with lovely pubs and restaurants all a couple of mins walk away. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff all very lovely & welcoming. Really really strong recommend - we would love to come back and visit again soon.

This has become a favourite stopping off place en route between Campbeltown and Glasgow. There's a cheerful welcome, a varied menu, and good, efficient service. Can't fault it...but some of the chairs are a bit rickety!

Food was great and accommodated all 11 of us. Service was excellent and food and drinks were good value.

What gem, a place to sit and chat while having a drink ana some food, coffee & Cake were excellent. Staff are very friendly too. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the cake, fruit Scones are amazing.

We dropped in (twice) on the way down and back from Tarbert, Had the seafood chowder for lunch on the way down, it was delicious. Just a snack on the way back home, from the fresh backed selection. Service and food and great. This place will be queued out in peak season!

An amazing cafe. Homemade cakes were fantastic and the team serving were fantastic homely and welcoming. Great spot to stop after a day of hiking in the nearby hills

Only ordered from cafe got potato scone and black pudding roll and cup of tea which came to £8 safe to say I won't return as overpriced but roll was ok.

This is my favourite place for late lunch after working in Lochgilphead. I had the falafel burger. Absolutely delicious!! Must try their coffee and walnut cake ! Highly recommend for a lunch stop if you’re anywhere near Inveraray. You’ll not be disappointed! Update: another visit in October. The schnitzel on the specials menu was absolutely delicious. The chips were crunchy and the garlic butter added a rich flavour although it got melted with the hot chips. Schnitzel was crispy and soft inside. All in all, very good lunch!

We would eat here every day if we lived here. Lunch yesterday was the best fish and chips we’ve had in Scotland. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff and vibe here are sweet and fun! Best coffee too! All around hit! Amazing sweets too! Apple strudel!

We had lunch here it was very busy and had to wait for a table but it was well worth the wait. We had fish sandwiches and a crab sandwich, service was quick and the food was lovely. We recommend this highly

I have only been there for Breakfast and Lunch. It is a perfect place for either. The service is excellent and the food and beverages are on par.

Lovely crab brioche - not sure it was worth £13- a side salad garnish would have been a lovely addition. Friendly but rushed service, staff looked stressed. A star deducted because of the loud disco music that some of the staff were enjoying….. but look at your clientele- average age mid 50s at least when I was there. The same loud music in their cafe across the road. Why? Luckily , they did turn it down when asked. Thank you ….. but won’t rush back.

My darling wife and I went for a coffee and a slice of cake on Friday afternoon. It was a really lovely slice of carrot cake. The cortado was great too. The staff were very friendly and the delivery of cake and coffee was quick despite the turnover of customers. We had breakfast there this morning and I have to say it was excellent. I had The Full Meaty. Everything was unbelievably tasty. The bacon and black pudding especially. Will definitely go back when ever we are close by.

Stayed in room 6 for 2 nights end of July’24 and it was great. Welcome and check in very welcoming, room really nice, bright, fresh and clean and complimentary continental breakfast in the cafe more than enough to set you up for the day. Great service in the cafe too👍. Would definitely recommend staying. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

It is a pleasure! They have gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan food. We ate wonderfully and they treated us great.

Our family of 5 stopped by for lunch and had the best server, Heather. The food was sooo yummy! Then we added deserts and oh my goodness, they were delicious. If they have apple pie or the lemon cake, get it! Btw best burger ever.

Beautiful location nearby to the water (picture attached). Very accommodating for a group of 9. Heather was brilliant and all staff were super friendly. Food was delicious and the coffee was also great. One of the best coffees I've had in the UK thus far. Thanks again!

Delicious lunch. Had a short wait for a table on a very rainy day but it was well worth it. Had a delicious crab brioche then carrot cake. Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely go back!

The best Fish & Chips we tried in all of Scotland.

Ended up here by chance, but then attracted by the carrot cake in the window! We ate very well (the goat's cheese sandwich was excellent!) and the service was quick, friendly and very nice! A special thanks to Heather, the professional and smiling waitress who served us! Highly recommended! 🔝

Lucky find while breaking car journey. Lovely welcome only surpassed by the quality of the food. Fast service, generous portions and very fairly priced. So impressed we visited again a few days later on our homeward journey.

We had a desert lunch, big slices of apple and raspberry pie with fresh cream worth every penny

Wifi network is very very poor.

Service was awesome, and waitresses were very helpful and cheerful even though they were very busy. Ordered the beef burger and couldn't have been better. Big juicy burger with generous portion of chips. The restroom was also very clean 👌

Had a really nice breakfast in Brambles Cafe, forgot to take any pics of the food but really enjoyed the french toast with bacon & maple syrup, could have used a wee bit more Maple syrup but still lovely. Very rustic interior, much bigger than you'd think and very friendly and attentive staff

Amazing accommodation. My husband and I had stayed here a couple of years ago, and our room was gorgeous and had a great view of the main street. The food menu is brilliant, and I loved my breakfast. My family and I have been visiting here for years. The cakes are so so good!

Called in for morning coffee during my first visit to Inveraray. What a lovely place. The display of pastries in the window looked tempting with more homemade cakes inside. A happy and friendly atmosphere. Perhaps the best part of this experience is the friendliness of the staff , combining courtesy , a warm welcome and professionalism. Thank you . I definitely want to visit again and sample more of the extensive menu. Judy
