Found by accident 😜 Lovely food, but a very limited menu, maybe because it was a Sunday afternoon.

Delay food very bad customer service cold food

The food was Unseasoned and took 50min for one piece of avocado toast , Not only to mention it took 20min to get sat down at a table.

Totally come back for the food and coffee! I always know bread ahead in London Bridge and first time here in Wembley park! I got some donut and sausage roll to go and I love them all! Most importantly the staff were very friendly and helpful!

Not a great place to have a good time. Both the times I visited has disappointing experience with the food. Not value for money. Not going there again.

I used to go to the one in Borough Market and this was the first time visiting their cafe/restaurant in Wembley. Lovely interior and I spent some nice time with my friend and her dog. Yes, it’s dog friendly! Ofc I couldn’t resist having their famous doughnuts, and they did not disappoint as always. I tried their new Coconut doughnut, and it was heavenly—perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The filling was rich and indulgent. It was delicious 🤤 The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, eager to recommend their favourites. I also picked up some sourdough bread, which was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside—just how I love it! If you’re in Wembley, definitely make a stop at Bread Ahead. You won’t regret it!

We came here for a baking course and had a phenomenal time. We've come home with more bread than I could eat in a month. Our teacher was a delight and the supporting crew great too.

Decent food but service not up to the mark. Went in to get a takeaway pastry in the morning, there were 5 of us in the queue and there was nobody at the counter for quite some time.There was a lad and a girl near the counter but decidedly ignored us. Finally the girl came in to serve us without any apology.

Didn't even get served, 2 staff behide the coffee bar, ignored me until I ask, Then sat down on a table and made 15min eye contact with 3 staff members which they completely ignored me and my party of 6 , All three staff (one which look like the manager) stood and have a non work related conversation. Restaurant not even busy. Shame, just because they have a good product, they think they don't have to entertain customers service anymore,

Waited for 40 mins only to be told to wait another 30 mins food. Used to love this place. Won’t be coming again though. Several reasons: 1) Endless waiting times. 2) Inexperienced staff. 3)Quality of food has dwindled. Bad management has ruined the experience for me.

The pizza was great, huge portion! The grilled cheese was crispy and the new yorker sandwich was very good! We also loved the fresh orange juice.

Very bad service. Waited for an hour for brunch to ve served. Food came completely cold, coffee was ok. Had to ask several times fir cutlery and extra plate. Service has to be seriously upgraded.

Service was terrible, the queue was long but they only had two people serving and they were being very slow with orders. There was no signs for what flavours the doughnuts were, and when we asked the server seemed irritated by the question, and didn’t even answer fully. The doughnuts were average at best, no better than a supermarket doughnut that’s a quarter of the price.

I was waiting for soooo long waving for anyone to take my order and no obe is paying attention and this is not the first time, will never go there again ever !

Terrible coffee and terrible service I used to have my coffee from BA but yesterday (15/01/25) I was disappointed I ordered a mocha and a cappuccino was disgusting and the cappuccino was watery both the coffees had no taste and also was cold. NOT RECOMMENDED!

OK, nice food service isn't the greatest 🙄. Waited long to be seated also to pay the bill ask about twice. Also the door was left open, was a very cold day. I had I get up more then twice to close it! Nice food tho

Today I'm really disappointed. I'm a regular customer at bread ahead and I have never seen such terrible service before. I asked twice for a flat white I ordered it with oat milk it was made with coconut milk. this mistake was not acknowledged and the coffee itself was of poor quality. The staff look confused as they were not wearing aprons did not seem friendly or professional. I know the baristas but those weren't. Bread ahead one day was ahead but that's not anymore.

Whenever I drop in here the staff always look confused by my presence, almost as if I’ve made a mistake walking in or the shop is off limits. There’s usually someone friendly at the counter who will eventually ask what I would like but it always feels awkward walking in there. Ordered a spinach and feta pastry to go. I’ve never tried this pastry from Bread Ahead, thought it would be like a typical spinach and feta pastry but I found it to be almost inedible. The pastry itself is baked well, but the spinach filling is practically raw. It tastes like it has been very lightly steamed and seasoned. The spinach hasn’t been chopped so when taking a bite, you end up pulling the entire bunch of spinach out in one go, and since it’s so raw, you can’t cut through with your teeth. I ended up chewing a ball of spinach like gum for about five minutes which was very unpleasant. There is no feta to be found inside the roll, instead the filling tastes as if it has been mixed with mozzarella or string cheese. I think it’s unfortunate that a bouquet of raw spinach wrapped in pastry costs £4 each. Calling it a spinach and feta pastry when it’s quite far off from the staple people expect seems almost deceptive. Have sent off feedback to the team but would avoid these pastries for the time being. It’s a shame that for every time I’ve visited BA, I always end up leaving disappointed.

I am writing to provide feedback about my experience at bread ahead yesterday (14/01/25), as it did not meet my expectations. firstly, I felt that the waitress's was unprofessional. she was rude during the interaction and, at one point, asked me to leave a positive review in exchange for a free item and a discount. I think her name RIDA. While I value and appreciate good service, I believe that reviews should be earned through excellent customer care, not incentivized. Furthermore, i found this offer unnecessary, as I am more than happy to pay for my meals without any discount or favors. additionally, the service I received was not up to standard. thank you for taking the time to review my concerns.

A bit chilly. Great cakes. Pricy. Staff a little lacking in knowledge

Enjoyable chai latte on a Tuesday eve; almond croissant was flaky and still with flavour! & Tucked in to a great range of custarrd doughnuts with a friend. From my pick of custard doughnuts: the lemony zing in the creme brulet had me guessing at first (not always been a fan of lemon desserts) but, I got into it! There was a lovely subtle sweetness in the doughnut sugar. Nice chat to Demos, we were welcomed back to visit

Bread Ahead Wembley, one of the best Breakfast spot in North London. Great English Breakfast , Eggs Benny, good coffee and freshly squeezed Orange juice. Highlight for me was the exceptional service offered by one staff member, Rida. She is a true professional and understands customer service. Always polite and copes well with the flow of customers. She should be considered for a management role !.

Even though it was super busy, Ocean made sure we had a great experience at Bread Ahead! Friendly, attentive, and just amazing service. Thanks for making it so enjoyable!

Ordered an orange juice - staff gave me attitude for not ordering food. The place was half empty, what’s wrong with people giving you their business ? The orange juice at that price wasn’t even anything special.

We’ve visited a couple of times for a quick breakfast and enjoyed the tasty options, especially their delicious bread. The club sandwich and chicken strips were also amazing. However, the service could be better. While the food is worth it, a bit more attentiveness would elevate the experience.

It's an amazing experience and food and specially Rida, she was excellent in selecting out the best donut for me.

Excellent food; great bakery. Visited for lunch had delicious food. Only downside was that they kept the front door open so it was very cold inside even though we were seated far away from the door. Cold day! Enjoyed the food, but had to keep coat on as cold.

We had to wait a long time to be seated and served, hence the low score on service. It has to be said though, when the food finally did arrive it was very good.

The food was really good. Especially the chicken burger. Rida was really good with us. Gentle and friendly!

I was served by Ophelia who was an absolute delight. Had an extremely pleasant experience! This place has the best doughnuts.

I heard the food is great. Pity I wasn't able to taste it. I went inside the store and was waiting for 5 mins (it was empty) no servers came to greet (there is a sign to say wait here). Servers walked past with no hello or acknowledgement. So I sat down informing the staff and was given the ok to do so. As I was sat, again staff walking past, no acknowledgement or eye contact. It was not busy. My wife had to ask for a menu. But I had enough so I left.

Not going to lie this is one off the best resturants I went to in England First they sat me down in less they one minute on a high table I didn't really enjoy so I asked them if I could switch tables and speed cleaned a new one! The food was ready in about four minuts and was insane! Insane resturant in summary the staff is very friendly

Try their signature breakfast folks. I was impressed. We ordered English breakfast and because we weren't sure about liking it, we added pancakes with blueberries and lemon cream( or something like that I'm not sure). Needless to say we finished them all, and I'm not an early full breakfast person. The only little problem was the temperature. It was a little bit cold, but maybe it's a me problem. Enjoy yourselves.

Brilliant place. Customer service is remarkable. They really look after you if there are any problems. The food is top notch and the coffee was delicious. Definitely try their bread.

So I'm from Manchester, so maybe I'm used to northern charm. But let me tell you, the staff were apathetic, the food and coffee were mediocre, especially at that price, and to top it off, the toilets were disgusting. 3 out of about 6 or 7 in the ladies were "out of order" and the rest were so gross! I would not recommend coming here, I'm surprised it was as busy as it was.

Service is beyond terrible.. waiting over 20 mins at the door considering the restaurant isn't very busy. All you can see is staff chatting away not bothering customers, asked for a high chair and given one that is broken. Asked them to replace it to be told they don't have anymore and that kids can sit in these despite no straps. Management is not any better and said most of the time we don't have any young kids so don't need the proper high chairs. After this ordeal we walked out. Not very child friendly and very rude. Never visiting again.

Lovely atmosphere, really nice food, this was our first time here and we didn’t know what to expect and Mirelle was super kind and helpful ☺️ will be coming here more often, the coffee is lovely and the sourdough pizza was really yummy x

Absolutely love Bread Ahead - so much I've been visiting their different locations. This one in Wembley however so fantastic! The vibe is so lovely especially in the afternoon as the location is gorgeous. I was solo and got served by the lovely MIRELLA she took care of me really well and made me feel comfortable. Super happy with there service :]

I had an amazing lunch at Bread Ahead! The service was top-notch—friendly and attentive—and the food was absolutely delicious. The service could be better if the staff was courteous. The absence of customer service to a new level. The average coffee and lemon cream donut. Noisy atmosphere on the top of voice. Not recommended if you are looking for a welcoming peaceful breakfast or coffee.

Bread Ahead is absolutely fantastic. My friend visiting from the USA had heard about their doughnuts and we visited borough market for them last year. She's back this year and the only thing she wanted to do was get another creme brulee doughnut. We visited the Bread Ahead in Wembley. We had pizza and a doughnut each and holy moly it was some of the best food ever. To top it off we were served by the loveliest girl called Rida. She's an absolute credit to the company and turns this 5/5 experience into a 10/5!

We went there for breakfast once years ago and it was fantastic, we’ve raved about it since and were excited to finally go again Saturday 9 November. It would be an understatement to say that we were disappointed- it was an appalling experience: 1. Food was unpleasant. My partner had the eggs florentine; the muffins were tasteless, the spinach was not properly seasoned and tasteless plus it was too wet, meaning that the muffins were disgustingly soggy and inedible, and whatever spread they’d used had a rancid taste. The signature breakfast also had an unpleasant taste to it, as though the butter was off or something, the scrambled eggs were bone dry and solid, the toast was spread with whatever rancid spread had also been used on the muffins, the mushrooms over-herbed for a breakfast and the sausage unpleasant, tasting sickly sweet. 2. They leave the doors wide open, which seems surprisingly environmentally unaware. 3. Leaving the doors open also leads to a hygiene issue - a bird got in and was flying around inside the restaurant. We know what quality the food should be: from this experience, it certainly has gone down hill. We tried to feedback to Bread Ahead direct, including sending a photo of the bird flying around inside the restaurant. Their Admin team was apologetic and said that the Wembley branch manager would be in contact. Said manager never bothered contacting us, which just about sums up how appallingly run the place is. Would strongly recommend trying anywhere else instead.

Have eaten here on many , on my occasion I am increasingly becoming disillusioned with one of the members of staff. I am guessing he's the restaurant manager, but, twice now he has been been quite off handish with me. 1st occasion he said that he would have to check with the kitchen whether I could have breakfast at 13-50pm as they stopped serving breakfast at 14-00pm. Eventually, he lowered himself to allow me to order breakfast but, was being off with me. On my 2nd encounter with him I didn't want cheese in my 9burger, well guess what, I got cheese in it! I think his name is Domos. The waitress was mortified when I asked her to change it, she was excellent and very helpful. Ordinarily this is a fabulous place to eat and meet friends. The food is excellent and the bread is out of this world. A must for bread lovers. And, let's not forget about the cakes. It never fails to impress. The burgers are fantastic but the best Fries ever. I buy my fresh sourdough there twice a week, regular as clock work. I'll plan my visits around him from now on.

The grilled cheese sandwich was perfect, and for dessert the sinner bun was incredible as well. And on top of that the service from Rida was the best!!!

I got a bakery bread for 4.5£ which I can buy from another store around 1.5£. And it was worse bakery bread I have ever eaten It was too hard to chew it. Besides I got stomachache since I ate that one

Walked pass and saw their bakery outside the store which looked appealing. Purchased a brownie and chocolate filled donut for my wife and son. I spend £8.45 so was hoping for something special. The brownie was ordinary, nothing special however the chocolate filled donut was not eatable. My son who loves anything chocolate refused to eat it as it had a weird taste. After my wife and I tasted it, we both got the same weird fish taste. The fish taste tasted like the donut was fried in the same oil as fish was fried in. Instantly went in the bin. Spending £8.45 for “artisan” bakery, you’re hoping the quality. This I did not get.

Disappointingly ordered a box of donuts to take away. By the time we opened it there was a strand of hair at the bottom of the box.

I love their pizza!! OMG it’s just so good!! Everyone who works there is really nice, since from the chefs to the floor staffs! Thank you so much for make this branch the best one!!! You all are fantastic!!! I am writing this review while enjoying my tasty pizza!! (I am not good at pictures, my it’s not like my taste for food), just trust me and try it!!!

The doughnuts are just to die for

I discovered this place where the cuisine was perfect, the place was very pleasant, the meal was very tasty, on my next stay I would return there, I highly recommend it

The staff were so uninviting and seemed like they hated their job, had to ask 5 times where to pay after having a look at what I want and the guy completely ignored me and left it for his colleague who also seemed very unbothered and monotone when I finally did get served. As for the doughnuts, It was my first time trying them. They look amazing but tasted so underwhelming, chocolate and salted caramel had a slightly burnt taste and the “salted caramel” was definitely not salted caramel, just tasted like burnt caramel. The vanilla was just plain and bland no real flavour so I was really hoping the blueberry cheesecake one would be good but it was also a disappointment. You get slight hints of blueberry then it’s just tastes like whipped cream. The only good thing about the doughnuts were the amount they were filled inside but it’s a shame they don’t taste as good as they look

Terrible service, the food is okish. I went there with guest from Germany before a football game, but it wasn’t too busy (should have been a warning sign for us). We ordered pizza, some alcohol free drinks and one beer. For one hour we asked many times for the beer, but none of the waiters could be bothered and the beer had not arrived even after one hour (!!!). At the end we gave up and asked for a refund. They were very annoyed by this request and only gave once we insisted. Of course, no apology. When we realised that they had charged service charge we asked for it to be refunded as well since the service had been more than appalling. The manager was now super annoyed, but pretended to refund it as well. Only, they never did!

Rubbish service, overcharged me a pound didn’t offer a receipt. Won’t go back

The baked goods that we got were good overall. I had the carrot cake and it was up to standard to be fair. The icing on top was good. Coffee was good too. We also tried the creme brulet donut and it did not meet my expectation. The topping was good and sort of crunch, the filling was disappointing for me cause I thought it would be sweeter. Thats my taste buds talking though, although my friend had the same reaction if that means anything. The atmosphere of the place was nice. I liked that they had the baking classes at the top. Very nice spot for a morning brunch, the English breakfast there looked really good, but I didn’t try it.

£6 each for a doughnut is never okay

We got a creme brulee donut and blackcurrant cheesecake donut. Both were delicious! Their iced latte was great too.

We’ve always seen and heard great things about the food at Bread Ahead - we’ve done the courses and had takeaway doughnuts which have been amazing but we’ve never had the chance to dine in. Today for my Mum’s 70th birthday, we thought we would take her here for Brunch and disappointed is an understatement. Seated at a dirty table, we cleaned it ourselves. Had to watch 3 tables who arrived after us order their food/drinks before us and when we did get to order it was only because we flagged down waiters. We ordered 1 signature breakfast, and 2 eggs royale with drinks. The food arrived 10mins before the drinks, there was eggshell in one of the eggs royal, the signature breakfast came with watery mushrooms which weren’t on the menu and just made the toast soggy (lucky we didn’t have an allergy!), and no hashbrown which was on menu, when we asked for hashbrown it was brought over in a sauce pot and was cold, overall food was average and nothing to shout about. When the drinks finally came the teacup and milk jug were filthy and needed a deep clean. When we asked for a clean teacup the waiter took away the cup and didn’t come back for the whole meal! The only way my Mum could have a cup of tea was by me getting up to ask for a cup and explaining I wanted a cup was incredibly painful with your staff. No-one asked how our meal was, so at the end we had to grab someone to complain to, who didn’t apologise and just said I’ll speak to the chef about the shell. Lots of staff in there but none of them actually doing anything, just stood there looking confused. What’s worse is we had to pay for food and service charge before the meal, otherwise we wouldn’t have been paying full price. Sadly we won’t be returning and won’t be recommending.

Fantastic place to get breakfast. Coffee is good and the Signature Breakfast is the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. Very reasonably priced as well. Zero complaints. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Wembley.

I have passed this place on numerous occasions on my travels through the capital. I found in the morning outside they have a stall serving freshly baked produce which is great for those rushing to and from Wembley Park station. I purchased a croissant, I was far from the best I tried for the price £2.50. This is the only thing I tired on this occasion. It will not stop me from returning to try other produce baked here. It looked and smelt like they bake some amazing fresh bread, I will pick some up next time I’m around Wembley.

Food and pastries are alright, bad lager. What’s worse is the service: slow and unkind. I have been to this place many times before and it’s never been this bad: super slow and team members seem to love talking to each other but can’t stand dealing with customers. Wanted to use the toilet after my meal (locked by a code), so I approached the counter to ask for help and had to wait that the team members finished talking about their business before I was given the driest answer possible by the big bold guy (think he’s Italian). I used to recommend this place to everyone, I’m going to stop that now for sure!
