Breeze Lounge in Northumberland

We have been here a few times and find the service quite hit or miss. We dropped in this weekend with the intention of having a coffee and a light lunch. The waitress said we could sit wherever we liked. All the booths were taken accept one with a few dishes on from the people before us, so we sat there… we waited for a good ten minutes and watched as the waitress cleared other empty tables around us and walked past us several times. At this point, guests were seated behind us, welcomed and drinks order taken, still no drinks for us and still sitting with other people’s crumbs. We summoned our patience and waited some more trying to catch the waitresses eye, again, she walked straight passed us and we were just left. After half an hour of zero service we just upped and left. Sad, as the venue is lovely and has all the makings of a great place. I could understand if it was busy, but there was only around 5 tables seated. We took our business to the cafe next door and will likely not hurry to return.

Lovely staff and excellent food. Really enjoyed lunch here yesterday with two Grandsons. Would definitely revisit and can't understand why it was so empty.

My partner and I have just moved to the area from Newcastle city centre and had been following Breeze on Insta for a while in the hope to try it out once we settled in. We visited to celebrate my partners birthday along with two friends for lunch on NYE. Despite the weather being horrible (very breezy), we were given a very warm welcome by the team. Each interaction with them was lovely. Drinks & food were served quickly and there were no complaints at all. The others in the party enjoyed a cocktail each, which were very reasonably priced, presented well and finished the meal off nicely. A special mention to the cheesecake; a white chocolate & red velvet flavour and it was simply divine! We shall be returning and would recommend 👌

Delicious food (especially the beef burger), friendly and welcoming service each time we’ve been and they allow dogs!

Arranged birthday party for 20 adults early evening buffet.Everything ready for our arrival food great and service fantastic.Well pleased with venue and enjoyed the others, not in our party, joining in. Music great. To the manager- do not change anything, you don't need to. Harold and Kathryn

Lovely Food and Great staff Popped in after a walk along the coast & had a lovely coffee & superb apple and raspberry crumble. My sister said that the gluten free sticky toffee was the best she’s ever had. A lovely relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly.

Very nicely decorated for Christmas, cozy and warm inside. Greeted and seated quickly by friendly staff. Order taken promptly. Delicious mango daiquiri! Starter of hummus and camembert with bread. Then beef burger and beef with Veg and peppercorn sauce. All the food was really delicious and nicely presented. Wpuld highly recommend!

Lovely place to go for food and drink. Warm atmosphere and friendly staff, great quality food and nice coffee. Dog friendly too 😁

Service was very slow. The waitress was too busy chatting to friends at the next table. Fairly long wait for 2 sandwiches with chips but the coffee was pretty good. My sandwich of roasted vegetables and feta was cold, including the roasted vegetables, panini toasted on the inside only. Mayonnaise was served in the bottle obviously from Aldi/Lidl. Salt grinder was broken and poured out onto chips, instead of sprinkling. Chips looked good but were soft instead of crispy. Quite expensive for the poor quality. We won’t be back and wished we had gone to Cicarellis instead!

Called in yesterday for lunch. Nice place and the staff were friendly and attentive. Good vegetarian options and the food was lovely as was the coffee. Will definitely go again and can recommend.

Lovely place, lovely food and lovely staff. V welcoming and accommodating of us and our three small dogs. Breakfast was really lovely. Would definitely recommend.

We went for Sunday lunch this afternoon, the restaurant was very quiet. We ordered our starters and our main alongside our drinks. The starters and our drinks came fairly quickly. However, we were waiting for around 45 minutes for our main to arrive. We told the same waitress who took our initial order that we had ordered two beef dinners aswell as our starters and her response ' Did you? I'll go and check with the chef. The waitress didn't come back after this so we had to ask her a second time where our food was. This time she told us ' It got lost in the system.' At this point we were getting very frustrated as three other families who had came in after us had all been served their food. The waitress came over again and we explained to her that other tables who had came in after us had all been served. We got the same response of ' I'll check with the chef.' About 10 minutes later our food finally arrived. We were not impressed. The mashed potato was instant and had a very lumpy texture, the carrot was rock hard and the meal overall was lukewarm. For a meal to be quite expensive, I do not expect to be served instant mashed potato. Safe to say we will not be returning. The waiting staff seemed very disinterested in their customers. There is better service in Wetherspoons that is saying something.

Perfect start to the day, and more, with everything you want from a cafe. Outstanding coffee, all our breakfast plates were fished off amd licked clean. Personable and professional staff, who are genuinely happy to accommodate. We've been in Blyth for a week, and all seven of us have enjoyed this place everyday. The cocktails are fantastic. Big shout out to Julia & Richie. We'll be back.

Outstanding breakfast, poached eggs are the best around, beautiful surroundings and amazing efficient staff, 100% reccomend
