Brill Burger in Chesterfield

Food was very good. Really disappointed in the milkshake, tasted like ice blended with some Oreo’s instead of actually a milkshake. Ruined a nice meal tbh.

Very disappointing tonight ordered because we have enjoyed the food before tonight ordered delivery time kept being changed the food was cold the burger had a nice taste but cold for what we paid a one is to much you need to up your game very very disappointed

I don't usually like to comment too much. I was really hungry and had come to Chesterfield to watch a game. Then I came across this place. I walked in and saw the burgers right in front of me. I wasn’t sure at first—it looked like a regular place. But I decided to order and when my food arrived I took one bite and immediately ordered a second one. It was the best burger I’ve ever had! I highly recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere is very nice and clean and the staff is extremely nice and respectful.

When ordering by Uber Eats, add instruction that the driver collects the whole order. Absolutely awesome burger. Had the steak stack . Came with disappointing soggy onion rings and ok chicken fillets. The fries were fries. Why make so much effort to make a good burger and serve with uninspiring sides? That said, the effort that went into the burger made up for the lack of effort into sides. Will deffo go back. And recommend. Servers were friendly. Food was cooked fresh. And burger was tasty.

Good portion size. The burger itself was shocking, very very greasy, the top piece of bun was hard and the bottom soaked up all the grease so that was like mush so when i bit in to it the burger and salad slid off my burger. Overall not great ill be sticking to maccies in the future.

Ordered a veggie chicken burger milkshake meal for lunch. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Burger was very tasty and well presented. Really enjoyed the Oreo milkshake too. Definitely worth a look for people who like burgers.

The guys at Brill Burger were amazing!!! Friendly service. Amazing burgers and fries and to die for milkshakes. We had the steak stacker burger. The flavour was amazing and the texture of the burger and the steak was really good. The fries are nicely seasoned. We had the Oreo and Ferrero Rocher milkshakes and both were super tasty. Ordered for delivery waited TWO hours and 12 minutes. No phone number to call?!?!? And then they cancelled our order. Absolute joke and waste of time.

Great food. VERY hit and miss on the milkshake. I ask for a thick milkshake everytime. 2 out of 3 times it might as well of been just milk with a squirt of chocolate sauce. Tip, if someone wants a thick milkshake, you'd at least expect the straw to stand up on its own, if only for a couple of seconds.

Jus called in with the kids for a couple milkshakes and they were amazing and so delicious. Thankyou!

Had a burger delivered last night and it was not nice, the burgers are of a low quality in my opinion, bit springy in the mouth leading me to think there is high fat content. When Deliveroo arrived the bread on the burger was wet through with sweating in the bag. However, the chips were very nice but sadly will not be ordering again

Ordered online and all I can say is the food was absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommend the food and the service was great too. The food was being wrapped as I walked in and was with me within minutes of getting there.

Delicious burgers served hot. I absolutely loved their chips too- the seasoning on them is very tasty as were the chicken strips! They also have some really cool milkshakes- I opted for Kinder Bueno flavour. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks Brill Burger x

One of the best burgers around, we have dinned in and had a takeaway from here many a time and we keep going back. Burgers are huge and you get a decent amount of seasoned chips with them. The grilled chicken burger is a favourite

Food was okay, but milkshake was forgotten off order. Lads on phone couldn't care and palmed us off twice. Finally got through to someone who could help, but only after he said to us it had been delivered already. 3 calls and 1:30 to 2 hours later milkshake Finally arrived.

We had a lunch delivery today for the first time. My beef burger was dense and rubbery and the roasted pepper inside the bun was the same as out of the jars you buy (that vinegary solution taste). The fries were over seasoned with paprika. Very disappointing for the price. Would not use again.

My Spicy King Clucker burger was very delicious & filling. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and the service was very quick. I worked on my laptop during my stay; the atmosphere was a bit loud, but easy to disregard with noise-cancelling headphones, so it wasn’t an issue 😊.

Great food everytime I go here, weekends can be busy as it’s a local favourite but customer service is always the best.

Had a terrible experience in here. Didn’t receive my order and after 40 minutes I went to the counter to ask where it was. The staff said it had probably been taken to the wrong table and that they would get it out to me soon. I then waited another 15 minutes (whilst I watched several other orders to both eat in and takeaway leave their kitchen) before I finally went up again and they were finally plating it up. After the initial 40 minute wait you would expect the staff to prioritise my missing order and get it straight out to me, not make me wait another 15 mins whilst serving a load of other customers in the meantime! A truly disappointing experience and a huge lack of concern and understanding from the staff! Also no extras included in my order or any offer to make things right. Won’t be coming back again.

The food is perfectly adequate. However the environment and atmosphere was absolutely deafening and placing a smoking area 8 foot from tables where families are expected to sit and eat is just foolish. Coupled with the fact that we rang to make a reservation to be told that they do not take reservations only to arrive and find reserved tables just leads to an overall negative experience

Lovely place to visit and the waiting staff really earn their money. Friendly pleasant but very very loud (could easily be addressed with a bit of acoustic management to address the roof and walls reflecting rather than absorbing noise). Dog friendly and a huge range of very good food.

If I could give the service a negative score i would. An hour wait for food. When I chased it after 45 minutes I was spoken to in a very derogatory manner even though the men before and after me were spoken to very differently. Interestingly the batch house staff also said that they have a lot of problems with this vendor. They even just shrugged their shoulders and said that deliveroo is more important. When the food did finally arrive it was mediocre at best. Would absolutely avoid.

Very trendy bar with various food outlets available got an urban trendy vibe going worth a revisit and the berry cider was really nice but can't remember the name 😂

Overcooked meat was a total let down - tough as a shoe sole. Grilled pepper isn't freshly grilled, but it's store bought in a jar. Bun was great. Onion rings fried from frozen, but ok. We waited 25 minutes for two burgers. And I really don't like they overcharged me - we ordered £23.5 worth of food, but we paid £24.68, because there some kind of charge added to the bill.

Went out with my family to eat a good burger in a good atmosphere and a pleasant service. Free 2 hours parking till 6pm after 6pm 3 hours free parking.

Quite possibly the best burger I've ever had, great fried chicken that's equally crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, most places where I've had onion rings have been soggy and tasteless but not here! The onion rings here are crispy and delicious and above all that, the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, I highly recommend Brill Burger!

Superb. Went for the first time today (13 may 2023) and ordered a cheeseburger box at 14 quid. Just the cheeseburger came, they hadn't heard the "box" bit. Thankfully the cheeseburger was all I needed, big enough and extremely tasty. Having checked with them it turns out I had only paid for the cheeseburger but the chap said he'd give me some fries on the house. Love it, the fries are also fantastic, crunchy on the outside, fluffy in the middle and lightly spiced. See you soon folks, change nothing because it's alllllll good!

I've had many burgers over the years. But nothing compared to the double cheese. Just had the best burger ever. The guys are nice and friendly, try this place, you won't regret it. 👌

Food arrived wrong, came with Mayo when specifically asked without. When we notified staff, we were told "we won't make you a new burger, you can scrape it off!". We returned the burger and were given no apology. The Batch House staff (who were very apologetic) had to intervene to get us a refund. There were three separate complaints regarding Brill Burger while we were there, during each complaint the kitchen staff were laughing... We believe the lad front of house was just following instruction from his senior management, but we have never experienced customer service as poor as this! We have had numerous take-away orders from Brill Burger, and the food has always been lovely. But after this experience we will not be ordering from here again. Please don't take this as a negative reflection of the Batch House, their staff were superb, the Tacos from Changarro were excellent, and it's a great atmosphere. Our disappointment and dissatisfaction lies solely with Brill Burger.

This is the first time I've come to the Chesterfield brill burger branch and boy when i tell you it was the best burger i’ve ever tasted i mean it. Everything from the home made burgers, to the sides, to the chips everything was spot on. İt is a very reasonable price for this quality of a burger. İ reccomend this place to everyone.

Nice food won't let you change your drink on your order once you've ordered it tho and won't let you order a drink if its not part of a meal

I have visited Brill Burger numerous times and i am never disappointed. The quality of the food, especially the meat is fantastic and the options are great. I am always provided with very friendly customer service. I would recommend this to anyone and the Batch House is a lovely location to enjoy a great burger.

Mediocre burger; better than a takeaway but no where near some of the burgers that are served out of Sheffield and Nottingham. Chips casual takeaway style with the same generic spicy dust sprinkles on them. Okay burger cooked well and well presented and assembled.

4 of us called in on Saturday lunch time - it was busy but we found a table. Ordered various burger meals with chicken strips and spiced chips. No one was disappointed. The meats were cooked, the sauces were amazing and the chips fantastic. The food was good value for money and the staff friendly and helpful. The only downside - we live 65 miles away - but will be back next time we are in the area- Thank You!

Went to the Brill Grill yesterday, our first time at The Batch House. There were four members of staff, one cooking the others talking. We went up to ask a question and was ignored. We made eye contact with a couple of the staff, but they didn't come over. Asked if anyone was available and was blanked again, so we left. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to trying the burgers.

Melt in your mouth crispy chicken burger and juicy beef burger with tender steak pieces. Flavoursome chips, crispy onion rings, tasty southern fried chicken and a really good dip! Also, the prices are so good. Highly, highly recommend here for your burger cravings!

I have been meaning to try the burgers and wraps for quite a while, I can honestly say I'm fussy and can't usually finish a burger (age thing 🙈😜😯😭) but omg this was amazing,there was no way I was sharing it with any member of my family. Ordered off deliveroo from Chesterfield, I got a phone call letting me know one of our orders had to be switched as they’d just ran out of stock. They literally couldn’t have spoken to me or dealt with it better - great service. To top it off the burgers were some of the best we had and definitely travelled well 👍. First time we’ve ever eaten from here so we will definitely be returning

This whole eatery is a hidden gem of Chesterfield, I never knew it existed! Brill Burger is definitely worth a try, my grilled chicken wrap was delicious and the service was far quicker than some of the other vendors. On a side note, the quality of the food and the low price beat the vendors too!

So, the trick is to take a seat, scan the QR and let the food and drink come to you! We ordered from the Hop Lamp, Fully Loaded and Brill Burger and within 5-10 minutes the table was full or great looking food, smells and happy people! I had the steak stacker burger meal which came with fries, onion rings and chicken bites...very satisfying and tasty with enough extras in the meal to share with the missus! Well cooked, hot and tasty, a real treat... my lad had the classic hot dog which he enjoyed and a Bubblegum Sundae which he really enjoyed!!

At nearly 40yrs old you can bet I have seen my fair share of burgers. This sits in the top 3. I'm also still laughing at the 3 star review below for not serving napkins 🤣

Food been of very good quality the two times I’ve been recently, however please, please serve the burgers with NAPKINS!!! It really does make the eating experience messy and awkward as it is finger/street food. Can live without cutlery however sort this nonsense out BRILL BURGER!
