Visited at lunchtime for Christmas party with group of friends. Service good and food tasty but only two other parties present, and the room was cold.

We are regular visitors and always get a warm welcome and excellent food. The menu is varied with great pizzas, pasta, and some meat dishes. Options for vegetarians as well. There's a good selection of drinks including draught lager. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and evenings are always busy so you need to book. The restaurant can be a bit noisy due to its structure, which might be a problem for the hard of hearing, but otherwise, this is a fantastic little place.

We had a lovely lunch here today. The 'festive duck' was delicious. The staff were lovely with our children and provided crayons and even a toy for the baby to play with. Thank you!

We've been to this restaurant a few times since opening. The first time - really impressed, excellent food, service, value, atmosphere - thought it was a lovely addition to the local food scene. The last 2 times we've been would probably describe the food as underwhelming; not necessarily anything bad to mention but just a bit poorer than we remembered. I quite often order something shellfish based when I go out and the last 2 visits prawns seemed tough and overcooked, on our latest visit the festive arancini were bland on their own and the baileys banoffee pie didn't taste like Bailey's at all and whilst the cream and banana were lovely the pastry was wholly inedible (stale and the taste was not ok for a dessert) so we left it. Service on all visits has been excellent although there's been a fairly substantial wait for food which we don't necessarily mind as the atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and comfortable. I can't knock the value at this place as it's incredibly well priced both for food and drinks and I hope we've just hit on off nights or poor menu choices for our last couple of visits.

If I had gone to review this place a year ago it would be 5* all round. Unfortunately ( I'm not sure if the chef has changed.) the food was no where near as good as the first time we visited so was somewhat disheartening. I wish them luck for the future but our last visit let us down so I doubt we'll return. It is however reasonably priced and the service was friendly enough. Just some honest feedback needed on this occasion.

Amazing family friendly restaurant with brilliant knowledgeable staff. This little gem is on my doorstep and the staff and management go above and beyond to cater for my daughter with food allergies. To top it off, I am vegetarian and they also have a superb menu choice for me too. Great place - if you’ve not been here, give it a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed! x

Excellent family run restaurant in Rowlands Gill. We regularly eat at Brizzolari’s and always have a great meal with excellent service. All the dishes are fresh and of excellent quality, the staff are very friendly and flexible to our dietary requirements. Great food, good atmosphere and welcoming staff, what more can you ask for!

The food is amazing. Tasty, generous portions, and authentically Italian. Staff were friendly with the young children at our table and were very attentive.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and the Brizzolari’s sunrise cocktail is amazing! The service from Amber was fantastic, she is a perfect example of a staff member who really cares and has great attention to detail and superb communication and customer service skills. Fantastic meal would highly recommend

Not sure why they have a kids menu, as it's not a family friendly restaurant. We were made to feel like we shouldn't have been there as we had our two year old with us. In previous visits, staff played with our child, helping to entertain him, but not today. Will choose a bigger, happier competitor next time who can accommodate the needs of my family.

Popped in for a quick lunch and had a really lovely meal. Meatballs with tagliatelle, fresh, hot and tasty. My friend had the beef Ragu. £12 each - very happy!

Food may be good but closing at 8:00 on a Friday is pathetic! 4 people in the restaurant but at 8:20, 4 people were refused entrance! £100+ takings rejected at the door!

Best prawn starter I have ever eaten. Also the garlic bread with cheese was delicious - so crispy and tasty. Tried two mains which were great but personally I would have re-jigged them just a little. 5/5 for starters, 4/5 for mains. Already booked to go back.

Food was absolutely top notch. Service was really good too, young lad served us seemed like he eas just new but really professional and looked after us well. Will definitely be back

It’s a genuine Italian restaurant in Rowlands Gill. The food at Brizzolari’s is absolutely delicious! Their fried squids are authentic. I especially enjoyed their clams pasta in a creamy sauce. I’ll be back!

Went here at 8pm as a walk-in got told there stopped serving food at 7:30pm what restaurant does this. They did let usbuse the toilet. Won't be back again.

How refreshing to go to an Italian Restaurant and be able to browse a full vegetarian menu, and not just the standard cheese & tomato pizza. Food was lovely, amazing value and staff very friendly. Will definitely be returning.

Great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is only small inside but great atmosphere. The service was brilliant. We got cocktails that were beautiful (and well priced). I would highly recommend here to anyone wanting a nice, local Italian meal. Well done to this place for bringing such a lovely restaurant to the area. Can’t fault it and will be back soon! Staff were lovely.

Sticky table, tastless carbonara, waitress very pleasant and she did check if meals were ok but had only had a few mouthfuls at the time. After a few more mouthfuls and the parmesan had gone 2 of our 3 meals were dry and tasteless. Only ate half. Informed another waitress not happy with meals. She argued we should have said earlier and refused to knock anything off the bill. No customer service skill. Wont be returning.

Perfect village Italian restaurant. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food was tasty and lots of choice. The specials are certainly worth a look with particular excellence in seafood.

Staff were great and very attentive to Gluten Free. Lovely food and nicely spaced out between starter and main etc. Was the afternoon so atmosphere quiet.

I was very disappointed with my main course last night It was from the Christmas menu. The butternut squash was far too big and the mash potato tasted like smash. Fortunately my soup was delicious. I did requested two starters but was told it wasn't possible this seemed ridiculous. We will be returning as the food is very good.

Have been in several times previously. This visit disappointing. Early evening service extremely slow although only half the tables had customers. My daughter’s gluten free pasta was delicious but a child sized portion. She is an adult. I had the king prawn risotto with crayfish. No prawns available so requested mushrooms. Was still tasty but had to pay extra for the mushroom even though no prawns in the dish. And hunt the crayfish.

Amazing fresh food and brilliant service at good prices, not a bad word to say about this place it is a must go.

Came here for a birthday meal. The decor of the restaurant was really nice. I found that there wasn't a great selection of soft drinks. My starter was nice cheesy garlic bread but the risotto, the prawns seemed to be off. I found the service was quite slow we were in for about 2 and a half hours which in my opinion is too long. Apart from that it was a nice enough meal.

Just visited here for the first time today and what a lovely surprise! Dominic welcomed us and was friendly and very professional. He made sure we were well looked after. The meal we had was fabulous and the passion fruit cheesecake prepared by Lewis the chef was a work of art and out of this world! You would not get better at a Michelin starred restaurant. Certainly this place was a hidden gem and we will recommend it to anybody. An early return from us is a certainty. Well done guys.

Our family visited to celebrate our daughter's birthday on 10th May. We were the first to arrive but the restaurant soon filled up. We were greeted by a charming waiter who asked us about allergies and seated us straight away. There was a special chair for our 16 month old grandson. His 3 yr old brother was given a choice of colouring books to keep him busy. There was a good choice of food on the menu. My husband & I had the frutti di mare pizza which was delicious and piping hot. Our grandsons had spaghetti bolognese which was eaten very quickly. Our daughter had a pasta dish whilst our son in law had pizza. We were checked by the waitress to make sure everything was OK. We couldn't fault anything from staff to food. Very satisfied diners who will be back when we travel from Morecambe to visit our family. Congratulations!

Visited with my husband for the first time yesterday. We're both vegan and my husband is coeliac and we were well taken care of by Dominic. The dishes were 10/10. Can't wait to go back!

If I were to leave just a few words, these would be: cosy, charming, delicious. Past Wednesday was our first experience at Brizzolari's, and I was nervous. We were regulars in Saltimbocca, and I loved the soul and heart owners were putting in every detail. I wasn't disappointed at all! First class service, attentive, kind, warm. Food incredible, my risotto was perfect 👌 my husband's pizza was slightly burned from the bottom, but still delicious. Tiramisu was delicious; I'm not the best person to evaluate the dessert as I love them all 😊. Knowing the heart and soul are still there, we can't wait to go again! A bit of warning - we will be bringing children 🙃

Great vegan options. Lovely friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Under new management and recently refurbished, this gem sparkled from day one, and has continued to do so for each of my 3 visits, either of which would have been worthy of 5 stars without hesitation. First visit, king prawns in garlic and chilli butter, Fillet steak, swapping out the chips for truffle fries, peppercorn sauce. Everything beautifully cooked, service and atmosphere to match, 5 stars. Second visit, meatball starter, chicken Kiev, I can’t get passed the truffle fries, I think they’ll be a feature every time I visit. Again, 5 stars for the reasons given earlier, I’d add more stars were it possible, as one of our group cleaned his plate, unheard of. Third visit, Mushroom and tarragon soup, a pizza from the ‘specials’ offering, sausage meat, Mascarpone, and jalapeños. The last time I tasted mushroom soup this good was from a starred restaurant as part of a lockdown set menu, and I paid a lot more for it. The pizza too is worthy of further discussion, as the sausage meat was home made, well seasoned and flavoured with fennel. Whether you want coffee and cake, a quick bite to eat, or a full on feast, this restaurant offers it all. You could (as we do) even discuss at length how the dishes could be replicated at home, good luck with that though, as if I live to 100 my mushroom soup will never taste as good. Other things to note: Assistance dogs welcomed; Great choice of wine at reasonable prices, even by the glass, the Sicilian red is outstanding; There’s beer for the beer lover; Fabulous desserts, try the gelato; Proper coffee. All round quality for a fair price, roll on visit number 4 and those thereafter. Happy days.

First visit since the new owners took over and what a transformation. The interior and ambiance is warm and inviting. We had potato skins for starters and I had lasagne for mains and my partner had pepperoni pizza. Food was exceptional. Best lasagne I’ve ever had. The meat was more like shredded beef in a beautiful ragu sauce - absolutely beautiful. Pepperoni pizza was huge and so tasty. Definitely worth a visit and a lovely addition to the local area.

Couldn't book a table for this evening as it was fully booked. So late lunch on Saturday. From the welcome to leaving it was a delight. The staff were amazingly friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The food itself from start to finish was superb. Focacci, garlic mushrooms, and meatball starters were all great. Risotto perfectly cooked. Pizza with exactly the right amount of njula sausage. The salmon was generous and perfectly cooked. All in all great food, great atmosphere, great service. ...as a Yorkshireman I'm keen on price and Italian is usually more expensive than most meals out. This one wasn't. Great value for money too.

We went here last night to celebrate our daughters 13th birthday. We were served by Dominic. His service was outstanding and made the whole experience wonderful. The food was amazing. The refurbished restaurant was clean, stunning and modern. All the staff were lovely, we have decided we will make this a one a month visit now. Well recommend!!! We will be back!!

We visited this restaurant on Wednesday, and couldn't believe the transformation the refurb has made, so bright and the decor is fabulous,. The first person we spoke to was a young lady, very polite and made us feel very welcome. The food was the best we have tasted in a long time, I had the Salmon, my husband had steak, the drinks were very good too, the other two were the chefs I believe, we are definitely going back very soon.
