Bull & Last in Camden

Almuerzo muy caro - una comida tan molesta - pan era £ 5 por 4 pequeñas rebanadas de las cuales no podía comer uno, ya que era tan dulce - era más como pastel que pan. Los 4 de nosotros tuvimos el almuerzo de carne asada - aparte de remojado bajo patatas asadas cocidas uno de nuestros miembros lo tuvo sin salsa - y solicité más salsa - han cobrado £ 4 por la salsa - todo lo que tenían que hacer era servir la salsa del plato sin mí. Estoy seguro de que el restaurante piensa que este precio es justo - pero nunca volveremos - los hongos de ostra tempura era tan duro que no podían ser cortados por un cuchillo La comida sin vino fue de £ 130 /pareja Para 3 entrantes, 4 principales, y 3 postres.

Visitamos este pub para una cena hace una semana, ya que nos alojamos cerca visitando a la familia durante unos días. Realmente impresionado con todo el servicio, la experiencia y la comida. Mi hija es celíaca por lo que siempre tenemos que comprobar lo que es adecuado para que coma del menú. Honestamente el personal era brillante con nosotros. Recorrieron el menú destacando claramente qué era adecuado para alguien con una dieta sin gluten y qué medidas estaban en vigor. Mi hija optó por un plato de pasta de cordero que realmente disfrutó. El resto de nuestra fiesta tenía una selección de otros elementos habituales del menú. Todo estaba delicioso. Muchas gracias por hacer tanto esfuerzo con el menú sin gluten. En general, el servicio, la comida y el ambiente del restaurante / pub era fabuloso y sin duda será un lugar para visitar de nuevo cuando estemos de vuelta en la zona.

Acabamos de regresar de una fantástica estancia de 3 noches en The Bull and Last, sin duda nuestro lugar favorito para alojarse en Londres en estos días. Encontramos el ambiente y la sensación de barrio en el norte de Londres mucho más agradable y relajante que el centro de Londres en estos días, ya que el centro de Londres simplemente se siente ocupado, sucio y caótico. Nos hemos alojado aquí un par de veces y simplemente nos encanta. La comida es muy buena en The Bull and Last y los desayunos son excelentes (pero solo disponible los fines de semana). El propietario siempre está alrededor, que es bueno para ver y el personal es genial. Nos encantan las habitaciones - ropa de cama cómoda y de buena calidad, decoración y muebles elegantes y peculiares, artículos de tocador encantadores y galletas siempre caseras a la llegada! El Bull & Last es un agradable y seguro 8 minutos a pie de la estación de tren Gospel Oak que sirve el metro de Londres, ya sea a Stratford o a Richmond & Clapham, así que también es muy fácil moverse si no te gusta usar el metro. Nos detuvimos después de un paseo para tomar unos bocadillos y oh que buena idea fue! Pedimos unos entrantes para compartir, tomando el sol afuera con el perro (el pub es totalmente dog friendly) y disfrutamos de una comida realmente increíble con un poco de vino y un Bellini, junto con uno de los mejores y más agradables servicios que recibimos en un tiempo, que lo hizo todo aún mejor. The server was very nice as was the atmosphere. The fish and chips were good but not extraordinary, and for 23 pounds- $30, it should have been a larger portion. The portion of mushy peas was tiny. I later realized how expensive this place was for the money when I was looking around at places in Bloomsbury and SOHO. I also was given a limited choice of places to sit when I arrived, as I was told they were booked up. I had never stayed in the Gospel Oak area before so I guess this was meant to be a posh place. However, I should have looked around for another place. I rarely give mediocre reviews, but I felt I had to here. The final verdict I am sorry to say, is you can find a better pub for your money, so keep looking.

I had an early dinner after arriving in London from Heathrow and had three delicious small-plates: Courgette Flower (stuffed with ricotta and drizzled with honey), which was fried in a light panko crust. Green salad (tender salad greens with cornichons and caper berry). Frites with aioli. All were perfect, and just what I need after a day traveling and with no food. Atmosphere is cozy but not stifling, with great tall windows.

Trendy gastropub that I have enjoyed in the past. This time, not so much. Chose the sirloin (£35.00). Gristly. Left a lot on my plate. Chips good. Salad not so good. Pistachio icecream for dessert: too sweet, sickly, and slimy for my taste. I think that's the end for me and it.

Needed to be near to Golders Green for a funeral so travelled down night before and was recommended to Bull. What a joy!! Welcomed like a friend , fab room , just right for one night as a singleton. Dinner was excellent , and there was a Quiz too! So entertainment provided too. Met some lovely people and it’s one of those places you feel very relaxed and comfortable with. No lifts so if stairs are an issue, maybe not for you.

We were a party of 14 for a special birthday celebration and we were given a magnificent feast. The service was spot on and the food was generous and delicious !

Lovely room (but tiny - no room to hang all our clothes). Clean, stylish and decent sized ensuite with big shower. Staff were friendly and really helpful; although we didn't eat in the pub we had drinks on a couple of occasions and there was a super atmosphere. The position was perfect for what we wanted - right next to bus stops and across the road from Hampstead Heath. Walking distance (10 mins) to coffee shops and restaurants. We'll definitely stay again, but in a bigger room.

We were a big group of 10 and the team couldn't have been more accommodating despite it being a very busy Sunday lunch service. Firstly, two members of our group couldn't join us and no fuss was made. Secondly, we had pre-ordered food which included sharing starters however one person was gluten free and another vegetarian - both were catered for individually which was wonderful. Every member of staff was attentive and helpful. All three courses were delicious and we didn't feel rushed at any point despite taking up a large area. Overall a wonderful experience and we would definitely return.

So I love this pub and the food has always been good, however I have recently turned vegetarian/vegan and was disappointed to see what a very poor vegetarian offering they have. They also have no vegan options at all on the menu. When I asked the server if they had a vegan offering, they said they would ask what the kitchen could do, and I was offered a root vegetable with kale, which is so disappointing. So many restaurants offer wonderful vegetarian/vegan options, so its just so disappointing that a restaurant of this calibre is so behind the times. Even if they offered a plant based burger this would work, bit nope nothing plant based at all.

Impromptu Saturday late lunch brought us here after a friend reminded us we had wanted to try eating here. We had a table upstairs and loved it. I found downstairs a bit loud but that’s because everyone was having a great time. It made us smile to see people really enjoying themselves. We loved the food and the service. We didn’t have space for dessert which was a shame as the menu was enticing. Ignore the reviews saying it’s terrible, it’s not. It’s wonderful.

The Bull and Last was my favourite Sunday Lunch spot for many years. I returned today for a family lunch - my son's birthday. On walking through the door, we were told by the humourless waitress that we needed to sit down and get on with ordering because we needed to give our table up in two hours. She made us feel utterly unwelcome; her manner was cold, and so was our food. The meat was raw, the potatoes were rock hard and four roast dinners, with no starters or alcohol, cost £150. My husband sent his food back - the waitress rolled her eyes and then brought the same raw meat back to the table. The Bull and Last used to be amazing, but it's not anymore. An unfriendly, vibe-less atmosphere, and tasteless badly-cooked food. We won't be going back.

What disappointment - admittedly I had not lunched there for quite some while when I had had a delightful meal. A group of four attended - initially there had been some mishap with our reservation. The rather sultry manager gave no apology. Two of our party ordered the roast beef sandwich. I have had many delicious roast beef sandwiches in my time. the beef in this one - how can I describe it - was thick, had a very large amount of fat and I had to request a sharp knife to cut it - the sandwich included a large piece of uncut sour pickled cucumber a minute amount of salad inside a brioche roll. The chips accompanying this dish were of the tiny frozen character. Those in our party who ordered chips separate to their dish received lovely chunky chips. This "roast beef" sandwich was priced at £18. When I complained the waitress was most apologetic and said she would tell the kitchen. As she cleared our plates she offered no explanation. I had to ask. The answer was "they apologised". Is that sufficient ? Very sad indeed.

Simply a wonderful lunch experience from beginning to end. As soon as you walk in your greeted with a spacious dinning area and a warm welcome. We were met by Paul who was genuinely pleased to see us and made us feel tremendous throughout the meal. The food is knockout. I’ve had most of the menu over the months and never stumbled across anything less than a 5/5. The dessert are stunningly addictive as are the cocktails. Utterly delicious

Terrible. You wouldn't think anyone could mess up steak and kale, but it was all horrible. At these prices, I'd expect excellent basic ingredients but the steak was poor, even before it was cooked. The kale was dripping water from cooking: it sat in a puddle. Maybe having a party of fifty upstairs was a problem for the kitchen, but if that's the case, they shouldn't have taken our booking. The fish board was also crap: mostly batter and presented as though it had been sat on.

This is a busy and trendy restaurant and we had a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The ground floor is very busy with plenty of dogs around reflecting the local clientele. However there is an attractive dining room on the 1st floor with plenty of space. Service was a little slow but I can certainly recommend the Coronation Chicken burger/sandwich. There is also a good selection of beers and this is a place to be enjoyed with a group of friends.

We stayed in one of rooms and also had meals there too.It was an excellent experience. A beautiful stylish cool room.The bedding and bed was very clean and so comfortable. The shower and bathroom was really nice also very clean and efficient .The staff couldn't have been nicer a really lovely team.Location was lovely opposite Hampsted health. We had a fabulous evening meal and one of the best Sunday roast dinners ive had in a long time.It was a fabulous 24 hours and felt very special.

I wanted to explore Hampstead + Hampstead Heath so this was recommended. The Rooms were gorgeous, small but well thoughtout. The location is right by a bus stop that goes to the center of town and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to downtown Hampstead. It was very quiet at night. I will say if you leave the windows open multiple flies will come in because of the garbage cans outside the pub. I didn't end up eating at the pub but their menu looked delicious.

We had a great stay here. Arrived late afternoon and had food and drinks, food was great and the service was first class. The interior of the room was lovely with fantastic additions to make us feel welcome. Hannah was amazing at making us feel at home and giving us great tips for getting around the city. Ive been going to this pub for about 20 years and it just keeps getting better. Great, friendly staff, really warm atmosphere with a brilliant local feel which is very hard to come by in London these days. Then there's the food which is incredible. If your after uber high end pub food or a snack you really cant go wrong. The Sunday roast definitely deserves a special mention (i'm salivating as I write this) Its one of the best i've ever had.

Was expecting a great dinner from the previous reviews but it was not as good as we were expecting. My wife's fish was not that good and they left the skin on which was not cooked crispy and turned out soggy. The charcuterie board (pictured) was not bad but could've had some more procuittio instead of all the other stuff. Overall I'd say there's some room for improvement here

I always enjoy eating lunch here. The pub was bright, sunny and charming as was the waiter who served us today. I had rich ragu as a starter and a side of chips but it was the chocolate sorbet that made me write this review -it truly was a delicious, orgasmic delight.

Excellent food as always, never disappointed when go here.
