Absolutely appalling food, came out room temp and was slammed on my table by a waitress. No description of what it was, I also didn't get asked if I wanted any condiments. The service was not great, there was a queue at the bar and only one person working behind it. A girl with glasses came up to the only bartender and asked him to do something even though he was clearly very busy and then walked away leaving him to deal with the queue himself. When it was my turn to get served, I asked him what she does here and he said that that was his supervisor, I felt sorry for him as he was left to do everything, she clearly saw the queue, absolutely appalling management.I came here this time last year and had a great experience. Looks like new management is really letting the standards drop. Won't be returning. Will be telling my friends to stay clear of here.

Found this little hidden gem in Leicester recently. It was a spontaneous meal after a long day session, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The food was on point!

Food and drinks were brilliant. We were there very early so there wasn't much atmosphere and we didn't want it to be fair. Really nicely decorated and a nice feeling about the place.

the prices of the drinks were great, especially for a Saturday night! the music was super fun and the lighting and decor was cool. recommend for social nights out.

we paid about £18 for 10 boneless wings, 10 spicy chicken nuggets and a portion of sweet potato fries, and this place had arcade machines and games which were all free to play.

I had a beer that which didn't live up to its usual standards, tasted sour. I always feel shy complaining but Kyle at the bar was amazing and gave me a replacement with fantastic customer service. Also have a pacman arcade game you can play for free.

Poorly managed!! management are rude sat in office whilst bar staff we're doing all work whilst busy,food was ages to come out slow service wouldnt recommended!!

Came here for the first time last night (fri night). I actually thought it was a new place only to find out it's been here 2 years, lol. Loved it here. Located on the 1st floor, it's got a nice, unique modern look and looks popular with the younger generation. Tried the food which was bar snacks but perfect to share or a bite to eat on a night out, was nice.

Always have a great night here! The staff are friendly, nice decor, very affordable cocktails (£6 until 10pm) and food (£4.75 for a basket of wings and fries).

This is deffo somewhere to go. Highly recommend. The wings and chips were very yummy- you get to choose a sauce from the list of sauces. The decor is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The cocktails were good too- i recommend the Parma violate one for sure! Will deffo be back for more 🤤🤩

Great Place to visit with friends, friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff from the start to finish. Polite and courteous. Food is good too, music is played at just the right volume. Door staff are friendly too

This place is usually busy but it's because it's got such a cool vibe. Lots of neon signs and good music playing. Some seats are kind of close together. I liked the drinks and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

One of the best places to have a drink, bring your ID cuz they always ask for it. Really cool specially if you want to take a girl on a date.

Really bad experience recently, a very rude manager that didnt want us to be there while the staff were apologetic about his behavior. Apathetic customer service, I dont give it long as better and more popular places in Leicester now.

If I could would give it no stars.... I have never been so disrespected in my life... being bar owner in the Leicester city Center we understand what bar stuff go through... bar staff & managers need to be trained again... it felt like they didn’t want us in or serve us... if your Indian avoid this please...

As a 40 year old male, they literally refused to serve me today, they asked for ID and then refused to acknowledge it when presented. I arrived at 11pm with friends, 1 out of 13 of us didn't have physical ID so they refused to serve anyone/even food only! The one person had digital ID, very surprised they refuse Digital ID in this day and age... and before this didn't even really look at the physical IDs that was presented. Other customers on our way out advised they were not asked for ID. We just wanted food... but because we arrived at 11pm, they didn't want to serve us really, alot of huffing and puffing because 13 people turned up. Why advertise you are open till 1am ? Wasted journey.. one of those failing restaurants forcing staff to work till 1am who wish you hadn't entered and make any excuse to get rid. 3 staff members and 2 customers, no wonder it struggles in Leicester! Either close early, or performance manage the venue!

Worst takeaway in Leicester. Ordered four mains and they were all terrible. All in the bin. My cat, who tries to eat out of the bin, wouldn't even go near the chicken I gave her and she loves spicy chicken. I don't even know what to make of the tofu (pictured) it was like a pocket of air. Is this how it's supposed to be? Never had tofu like it. Shame.

What a hidden gem! A very cool place for food and drinks. Loved the interior and all the entertainment on offer. The basket meals were a bargain too!

Came with GF. Got a cocktail, decent cocktail. Got halumi fries, decent fries. Got a scooby snack shot, good shot. Chatting with gf, all of a sudden Opus came on. Instant 10/10

Wow ! What an amazing place . Decor is so amazing , vibrant and unusual which adds to its quirky atmosphere . Cocktails were amazing , brilliant ,tasty and if you go before 10 pm almost half of usual price . Never seen cocktails so quickly and expertly made by very polite bar staff . Loved it and will make it a must when I am on Granby Street in leicester x

Been there on a few occasions and each time the staff were very friendly. Our orders didn't take long and we're really good. The music was also really lively as well, perfect for friends or dates

Definition of a five star establishment. Beautiful decor, good prices, great staff, great drinks, great food. I'm one of the top pub reviewers on Maps, and this is the best pub/club I've been to without a doubt. Good music, but not so loud you can't speak to the people next to you. I highly recommend you visit Bunk.

Bunk is a great place for late night food and drink. I wish the music was a little quieter though. There's nothing worse than having to shout at your friends to talk to them.

Place is great, great decor and arcades/table fusball which are free however really disappointed in the cocktails which came out in normal glasses which was not great. Food however was really disappointing. If your expecting American style dining, then you’ll be disappointed. Boneless chicken was just like frozen chicken strips with the sauce in a little tub. Surely if you ask for buffalo flavour then why not have them come out marinated. Same with the chicken wings which were not crispy at all and the teriyaki sauce was not on point either. Overall a nice place with good decor (although the tables are so small, you’ll feel like your back at school). Not enough room for food and drinks unless you have a table for 4 for just 2 of you.

Fantastic bar, really good prices for cocktails and food, all of which are delicious (and some that you won't be able to find elsewhere). Very friendly staff and the best music playlist at a normal volume so you're able to hear it, but also able to talk. Only slight negative I could say is the cocktail servings, as sometimes there's a lot of ice in them. If they change that, it is by far one of the best bars in Leicester.

So glad there is one in Leicester now. Spicy chicken nuggets are absolutely delicious, love how affordable it is. Cocktails are also great, it would be better if they had happy hour drinks. Only criticism I have is the fries are a little undercooked if you could brush up on that it would be perfect!

I don't know the agenda of the people writing negative things below, but this place is brilliant. Had a lovely dinner, fresh and crispy chicken. Fab range of sauces and quality cocktails. Staff are lovely too, highly approve! A++++++

Visited last week with family, extremely quick service which is a bonus, food was good, wings proper saucy and crispy, fries well cooked. Interior looks good, similar to Nottingham branches. Benches outside could be little bit bigger as we were struggling to fit 4 people.

Disgusted. The Bunk in Notts i treasured, hearing about it opening in Leicester put me over the moon. Manage your expectations so they don’t manage you.

Borderline cooked. Wings were cooked by an amateur, not crispy at all which in turn did not make it compatible with the sauce. Looked more forward to the fries than the wings. Asked for hand wipes but waitress thought I wanted to wipe the wooden garden table?!
