Burger King Michaelwood Service South in Stroud

Crew can't have the dignity of putting signs that the store is closed. Customers then arrive hungry and go there like flies only to have to wait for an employee to say it is closed. (I've seen about 10 people in 20 minutes) Also, when asked why there's no "closed" sign, employees are reactive/defensive instead of capturing customer's feedback.

Costs an absolute fortune and the food is cold - unforgivable given the price they charge.

Order cheesy bites were all empty and no cheese inside also took 10 minutes for my order

Shift Manager Anees did an amazing job. Order around 21:50 , Got the food quickly. Cheers for the fresh fries.

Great service, Khayam (server) went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I was after and the food was nice.

The worst burger king in the UK (possibly in the world) Its like something out of a film here The food isnt up to normal BK vibes and the staff are on a different planet... Mesmerisingly slow im suprised burger king allow the use of their logo here a services trap avoid at all costs

Order took over 45 minutes to prepare. Sauces ordered were missing. All fries chucked in one bag, so bag of fries withe 4 empty fries packets. Called out wrong number, my son and I were listening for every number but when they started calling numbers higher than ours I asked if our order was in their system and staff claimed they had already called our number. Burgers were cold. All drinks were room temperature as no ice available. In future if Burger King is one of the restaurant options going somewhere else.

Fast food this is not! I know Burger King are significantly slower than McDonalds when it comes to kicking orders out but BK at Michaelwood North was on a completely different level! Took 20 minutes for our relatively small order to be processed even though there was only one order ahead of us. The staff mope about without any sense of urgency and showed a complete lack of engagement with their customers. They were observed restocking when several orders were waiting to go out. I cannot fathom how this outlet is still operating.

Me and my partner stopped here for a vegan royale on our way up north today. After ordering we waited about 10 mins to be told thet didn't have any in stock, and when the guy was about to refund us, Kim (lady with blue hair) stepped in and saved the day! She got the BK southbound to bring two over and sorted them for us within 10 mins, even upgraded the fries 😍 absolutely made our day on a long journey. Thank you Kim 🖤

Got the order TOTALLY WRONG. Ordered and paid for TWO Whopper's Only received ONE No lettuce on the Whopper we did receive. Service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.

Waited 45 mins for the food and its luke warm. the drinks are watery, terrible service. it’s a Friday and they have 3 employees working so they need to sort their scheduling out. Do NOT come to this Burger King, I have been here 5 times and it’s been a mess every time. Also sort out the £1 for a slice of cheese that’s insane

Not taking orders at 21:20 on a weekday. Useless.

Waited over 20 min, received an almost cold burger and had to have a warm drink because there was no ice either. Staff looked like they had no idea what to do and while waiting I saw 3 people come back to complain about wrong orders.

Big thanks to the staff who wouldn't fill my dogs water bottle . Its probably not in their job description but it wouldn't have hurt them

Waited 15 minutes for loaded fries that were stone cold when I got them. At least the girl serving apologised for the wait when I got them. However took them back for a refund ( inedible) but didn’t even get a ‘sorry’ from the refund issuer. People in service stations are either at work or going somewhere special/on holiday. Slow/ rubbish food is incompatible with both of these activities

Absolutely disgusting. My dad paid £40 and they screwed up the order, chicken burger ordered, got a gross hair looks like its been wiped on someone bum. What awfull food, I'd rather eat my dogs tinned food, disgusting you should be ashamed of yourselfs

This is the worst Burger King ever. Service is shocking! You wait 40 mins for an order when there’s only 4 other orders on the board! Avoid if you’re in a hurry!

What a terrible place! Waited for 14 minutes for a cup of tea. Staff were unengaging and rude. No, thank you, just calling out numbers passing out orders. 2 Fruit missing of an order in front. Gave sauce in a cup because they never had sachets. Staff never looked bothered, no sorry.. avoid and make it to Gloucester if travelling north!

Hardly anything available. No fizzy drinks or tea,coffee. Waiting ages for food even though only 1 customer ahead of us. Burger was colder than the salad.

Brilliant munch 😥 Left this place feeling well fed and well served! The lovely gentleman who served me, I believe his name was Tom, was an absolute role model and very kind and delightful. I will be returning and couldn’t recommend more 😸

Great Unit, Amazing Service and Top Notch Food!

I walked into Burger King with low expectations and a rumbling stomach. I mean, how bad can a burger really be, right? Well, let me tell you, what I got was a sad excuse for a burger. A measly piece of meat trapped between two stale buns. Needless to say, Burger King won't be seeing my face again.

No fork for cheesy chips, almost RAW chips without much cheese and a pathetic portion…

Not fast food, it's slow food, waited for ages when there was only 2 people waiting, got a large meal, instead of a large drink I got a 500ml bottle, they forgot my fries, the food was cold, GO to subway or KFC or you'll leave a review like mine 😶

Shoulda checked the reviews 🤣 stood around for ages waiting for a simple order, no one around, dead atmosphere. After 15 minutes, not even a "sorry for the wait", chips with cheese topping were already somehow freezing cold, bun was 2 times smaller than the burger. And paid £13 for the pleasure. Shoulda gone to Subway 😂

The worst fast food restaurant in the UK. Flat drinks, cold food and nearly choked on my chicken burger that had clearly been left out for 3 days. Lucky for them I got back on the m5 before I took a bite. The place is a dirty rat hole. Avoid!

A chaotic dis-interested team deliver the opposite of fast food here. If you want a burger with a dry stale bun, cold chips and a flat Diet Coke then this is the place for you! Would have scored them 0 stars had there been the option.

Worst Burger King ever. At the first they gave me wrong burgers and missing nuggets, I found out when I got to the car and angry at this point. We had a dog with us and couldn’t both go in. My husband walked back and they gave him new burgers and nuggets with no fries. I walked back, got the fries, walked back to the car and wrong burger for my husband again. Paid for double and got single cheese burger instead. They absolutely have no clue what they are doing. It takes 25 mins in total. Avoid it at all cost. I wouldn’t event give it a one star.

5 staff members chatting in the break room whilst another member of staff was at the tills trying to sort everything out and looking very confused. When the other 5 came out they appeared to be laughing at the fact that there was a queue of customers waiting for their food for over 20 minutes!! Disgraceful - is management not looking at sorting this place out?

Ordered two burgers without cheese. Both had cheese when opened. Diet Coke was flat, warm and syrupy. I won’t stop here again

Absolutely shocking! Never ever again, cold food, terrible service. The cold burger I return was replaced by something even worse. Sadly 0 stars wasn’t an option The clue should have been the rammed KFC and empty BurgerKing.

Cannot express just how bad this burger king is. No burgers! No interest from staff. Even the tills were broken. The self serve tills also not working. Zero interest by anyone there. Utterly pathetic and they really should be closed down if only to make some space for an outlet that can do the job. The other outlets at this venue must be delighted as they offer no competition at all.

If there was a competition for the worst fast food place in the UK, this place would win hand down. Should have known by the huge crowd of angry / depressed looking faces that it wasn’t going to go well. Food took just over half an hour to be served. Complained to Manager who wouldn’t even utter a word. Didn’t seem to care at all. Place was a pigsty. Drinks all over the counter, food all over the floor. Nobody working there appeared to have a clue what to do. Save your money and travel and bit further to the services at Gloucester.

It took a weirdly long time despite being quiet. The chips were barely warm and they'd ran out of chicken legend buns. However the staff are incredibly nice hench the 3 stars. Our server either really enjoys serving people their food or he's mastered the art of deception.

Really disappointed with our Burger King experience, we waited 25 minutes to get in the car and get completely the wrong order. There was one person serving all these people, under so much pressure. He got so many peoples orders wrong. Not good enough.

Over 30 mins for an order. Slowed further by many order mistakes and remaking orders for others. People trying to pay cash were ignored and once food came was an anticlimax for the price.

Im sorry. The food may be good but £43 for 3 meals is downright extortion. It doesnt matter how good the staff are, how nice the food is, those prices, for what is a quick takeaway are disgusting.

Awful experience here. 30 minute wait for food. Only one member of staff at the front trying to deal with everything. Unbelievable. To top it all off, got back to the car to find that they had messed our order up.

Absolutely god awful After 40 minutes wait for food I walked out with a refund. 40 minutes is beyond a joke, Subway was closed, Waitrose had hardly any sandwiches too. Left hungry! The manager did say sorry but left 1 person on the front serving so here is the fault.

Friendly staff but the place had run out of BBQ sauce, not just the seperate sachets, but also for the burgers themselves...as a result the burger served had no sauce and was dry to the point of being completely inedible. Shocking.

Recently stopped at this takeaway on our way home. We were served by Katie, who was very patient, very understanding of our ignorance of their system and very informative about the products on sale. Thanks to her we chose the new Angus burger with peppercorn sauce. Excellent choice, thanks.

Worst ever!! Cold, limp un-crispy bacon, (possibly uncooked!) big dollop of catering mayo with plastic cheese in the chicken bacon whatever it was. Got a refund. Didn't attempt to eat. It was warm on the pkt outside, but my goodness, cold and unappetising. Worst ever!

Gruesome. The staff was polite BUT I ordered a sharer box an XL bacon cheeseburger meal and a small cheeseburger. Guys have no soda machine. The prices are blown up to the wazoo and you get absolute trash for your money. I was driving down so had no time to check but: the XL burger had no trace of salad, pickle or onion. Just really dry chewy meat and cheese. Brilliant. The sharer box was almost okay but the cheese bites were husk-dry. The cheeseburger was not in the bag so I paid for nothing. To add insult to injury my friends who had KFC had a delicious meal for a better value. Avoid at all cost.

BURGER King conveniently couldn’t make any burgers for the last 3 times I’ve been there, apparently having the burger machine brake two hours before closing all three times. The “Helpful” staff mocked the fact we couldn’t get a burger from BURGER King, if you can’t sell a beef burger rename it to Chicken King.
