Burnopfield Chop Suey House in County Durham

Ordered Cantonese Ribs (which were nice and get the food 2*) but the fried rice was mushy, chips still cold/uncooked in middle, peeking chicken and king pawn was inedible (you could tell by smell and texture of food it really wasn't fresh... and I'm not chancing old pawns and chicken) and even the pawn crackers were discoloured with brown tinge from age...

Ordered a take away and can't not fault it. Very tasty and filling and worth the money. Will definitely order again. Delivery was within the time limit. Recommend to anyone who wants a nice Chinese. Michelle & Gary

I always get house special fried rice with a carton of curry when it is delivered it's piping hot and is a generous portion, very punctual delivery and pleasant delivery driver. Definitely worth a try you won't be disappointed.

For a change,we decided to try busty bank Chinese take away. The prawn curry is delicious,they do not scrimp on the ingredients.the soft fried noodles are well cooked and the fried rice is lovely. Prices are very competitive,the delivery service is prompt and the drivers really pleasant. We will definetley be using this take away in the future. Recommend you try,you will not be disappointed.

Best chinese around proper food and great portion sizes very fast dilvery to Wickham

Awful salt and pepper chicken, rosies is far superior and the same price. Overall won't be going back but it was edible.

Great food and good portion size at excellent value

Always enjoyed the food here and was a regular visitor. Moved 6 or 7 miles away, tried local takeaways. Now travelling back to Burnopfield as it’s simply unbeatable for Chinese food. Have Chinese family who agree!

Bang on scran absolutely unreal. Aimee Chung is super peng. Noodles are unreal should try them, love the won ton’s too mmmmmm 😋

They delivered good sized portions at a good price within the time scale they set. The food however didn't match their good points. The noodles in the chop suey were a bit overdone as was the rice. The vegetables in the other three dishes were crisp. The dishes, apart from the chicken chilli, tasted and looked the same .

Bought Chicken Chop Suey. It was really good ... plenty pieces of decent chicken. Spot on. Nothing more to add.

Simply the best Chinese for miles around. You cant get better than this takeaway when you want some scoff-able takeaway naughtiness. Always friendly enough when i have been in and steady away with the customers in the door.... that says how popular it is. Great choice from the menu and really good quality meat in the choices. A good ratio of veg to meat unlike some places where 95% veg and sauce the some scrag end of meat thrown in also. Superb Chinese, don't bother with the others.

This is the best Chinese in Burnopfield by far . They have your meal ready when they say they will they deliver on time and give you good size portions to. . Maybe if been picky a little bit more meat on ribs if pos. But brill anyway.
