It's a great little place, great service from friendly, attentive and polite girls. Food was good, very tasty and, large portions, couldn't finish my burrito, took a doggy home. Will definitely return and bring friends.

Every meal at Burrito Mamas is an amazing experience… the drinks (hot honey margaritas are phenomenal) the food is fresh and so tasty, great fun and relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. It’s a perfect night out.

Love love love! My fav place to take friends as it never lets me down. The food is fantastic, cocktails are always so fresh and punchy. The price for what you get is great and the staff have always been super friendly and their service is so good whether eating in or having a take out. Highly highly recommend!

I dined in on New Year’s Eve. I had the veggie platter for 2 and it was incredible. Great value for money, lots of food, and SO much flavour. Everything was delicious. Fast service and very clean there too. The staff were lovely and I felt very welcome. Best Mexican I’ve ever had!! Would 100% recommend to others!

Really enjoy eating at this place. I recommend booking ahead of time to avoid being turned away due to it being a small place and really popular. Great for coeliacs as they have a lot of gluten free options and they are clued up on it. Only thing I would pass feedback on is the Elote Corn used to come nicely sliced so it was easy to eat, however they’ve changed it so it’s a corn on the cob so it’s quite a pain to eat as there’s loads of toppings on top. Still delicious though, everything is fab!

50th bday…they pulled out the stops! Had a fab evening and food and drinks delicious! Best spicy marg out there!

Popped in last night for meal and we throughly enjoyed ourselves. The starters (nachos and corn) were delicious. The taco mains that followed were equally brilliant. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the cooking here. Service was attentive and efficient. Very good options for vegetarians. Overall I highly recommend this place if you love Mexican food. Just a shame we don’t live close enough to visit frequently.

We had lunch here on a very wet and cold Saturday. It was lovely and cosy with a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was fantastic, really good flavours and served hot and without a lot of waiting despite it being fairly busy. The staff are also lovely and friendly. Great choices for veggie/vegan as well as meat eaters so brilliant for us as a mixed group. Can’t rate highly enough, lovely place.

Mexican Beer & Delicious Burritos

Quite a find. We were visiting in and around Cirencester. Based on the reviews we tried Burrito Mamas. We were not disappointed! A warm welcome. The place was almost full. A clear love for all things Mexican! We ordered the loaded nachos which were authentic. No cheap gooey cheese and pickled jalapeños here! Followed by Birria beef tacos and a birria rice bowl! The beef was incredibly tender and flavoursome. Not forgetting the chile margaritas! Highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a little bit of Mexico here!

Good Mexican food and very friendly and professional service. The place is also very clean and tidy. I had also the Jamaica Water which was not as tasty as I normally had but was OK. We had 2 bowls which were served with good timing and exelent appearance.

During our holiday in the Cotswolds found this fantastic Mexican restaurant. They have the best burrito's and taco's we ever had. A reservation is recommended, while more people enjoy the food. Parking is very easy at the Forum parkinglot and then a couple of minutes walking for the perfect meal! The Birria loaded nachos are simply gorgeous, the perfect starter to share.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday, it was busy but staff were accommodating and friendly. My 6 year old was given a children’s colouring sheet with menu and crayons. We had a beef burrito, tacos from the daily specials and my daughter had a mini chicken burrito - all excellent. Really good quality ingredients, fresh taste and good portion size. The drinks selection was great and my strawberry Mexican soda was particularly good. We will definitely be back.

We love Burrito Mama. Live locally and have it every month, at least. My boy's birthday dinner this month was here and that is perfect for me and my wife. Whether dine in or takeaway, it's always great food. Don't change BM!

We had the pleasure of Burrito Mama catering our wedding, which was their very first wedding event, and they absolutely nailed it! From start to finish, they provided exceptional service and delicious food that our guests couldn’t stop talking about - some are even planning a visit to their restaurant very soon! We had a fully vegetarian menu, and Ella went above and beyond, creating a variety of vibrant and satisfying dishes that were a hit with everyone, regardless of dietary preference. Ella’s team were incredibly efficient and professional, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of without missing a beat. Despite this being their first wedding, they handled everything with professionalism and ease, ensuring our day was perfect. Really nice food, generous portions, good atmosphere! Usually quite busy at weekends. Nice friendly staff. If I can give a suggestion, could it be possible to have the waitresses to actually write down the order? On more than one occasion items have not been received by the kitchen or starters are forgotten in the kitchen while mains are served. Thank you!

We really enjoyed this lively, vibrant little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, just off Black Jack St. Staff were friendly, helpful and hard-working. The food was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Cocktails were fun, though not top-notch. Book ahead - highly recommended.

We went out of our way to go to this place and it was so worth it! All of the staff were super lovely and great service. Of course, best of all the food was amazing. We wish we lived closer but would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Possibly the best Mexican I've had in this country. We had the beef tacos and they were ridiculous. Our waitress was fabulous, basically told us what to eat and the cocktails to accompany the food and she was spot on!!

The best food and service In Cirencester, without a doubt. Every dish here is full of flavour, freshly cooked and delicious. The service is always friendly and professional and the atmosphere is nice and chilled. Very reasonable prices and a great choice of alcoholic and soft drinks. Every time I’m in Cirencester, this is the place I book and can’t wait to go back.

The food was absolutely astonishingly lovely. Genuinely some of the best food we’d all eaten! However, the service let the side down. 4 of us came in for bottomless brunch. I ordered a margarita to start, which was very good. Whenever we’d order drinks it seemed to be a pain to our waitress, who would just walk off after ordering, no acknowledgment of what we’d said. We also caught them rolling their eyes at us, and being overall unpleasant behind our backs. I think they thought we couldn’t see, but it was very obvious. I circled back to a margarita, and this one had soda water in it. It wasn’t very nice. I asked for my next one to be made without soda water, and she was reluctant to do that since bottomless brunch “didn’t include the nice one”. It was quite a weird statement. Also we couldn’t have any Prosecco cocktail unless we all had it, because they didn’t want to open a bottle unless we’d drink the whole thing. We also had to keep going up to order drinks. She told my friend to not come up to order. Which is fine, but then you should make an effort to actually come and check if we’d like another drink. She just never came back to our table after about an hour. My final margarita came with a tahin rim, not salt as requested. I asked for it to be changed, and she said she didn’t have any salt left. When I questioned it, she took the drink, without saying a word, and moments later came back with the correct drink. Overall it was quite a weird experience. They seemed to instantly dislike us, and we couldn’t really work out why. We were polite, we were smiling and having fun, and didn’t seem to be disrupting anyone around us. I would go back, but not for bottomless brunch, as it seems they begrudgingly offer this.

Had a lovely meal at Burrito Mama tonight. My son’s first experience trying Mexican food and the staff were really helpful and kind, keeping everything separate for him and making him some plainer than normal tacos, which he loved. Thanks for the great service and delicious food - we’ll definitely be back!

It is a small place with a small menu but a fantastic food!!! The dishes aren't the typical greasy dripping food but a well balanced and flavoursome. I would recommend to book in advance to guarantee a table. They have also a selection of gluten free options like a burrito in a bowl instead of a wrap.

What an absolute find! The series perfect and food great. Had some Tacos which were super tasty, shared a burrito which again was tasty with a bit spicer. The craft Lager was good too. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it too.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive but not checking on you every couple minutes, they timed it perfectly. The food was brought out quickly and was very well presented. Will definitely be going back soon.

I had a takeaway from here, which included a beef burrito and a quesadilla. Both were really good, in particular the quesadilla - crunchy and super favourful and nicely seasoned.

Shared nachos was like a bogs dinner all the nachos were broken and totally smothered in stringy meat, arrived within with 3 mins of placing the order basically just throwing together

Myself and partner we came across of Mama burritos about two weeks ago, I went in to grab a takeout menu, I went in and honestly I didn’t want to leave the smells of the different flavour in the restaurant I felt I was in Mexico in the food market of Tijuana , we went today , silly me didn’t book , but they give us a table, that was reserved for later on , the welcoming was excepcional My God the food the loaded nachos with beef 😱😱😱 OMG they blow my mind I couldn’t stop eating , then the tacos 🤩🤩 I have been in the industry of hospitality for over 15 years and is the first time in my career that I don’t have words to describe how grateful we were with everything and everyone, the service unbelievably amazing, I had the chance to speak to the managers I’m not sure if she was but , the way she approached us was very polite, she had an amazing attitude and that beautiful smile , thank you for existing:) Please try it out. It just perfect.

Since Burrito Mama has opened this has been the family go to for great lunches! We do take away quite a bit and drive an hour for the tasty meals. We lived in LA for many years and missed our Mexican cuisine, so when they opened AND the food was amazing, we were overjoyed to say the least. Staff are lovely and accommodating to all our dietary needs. We have recommended so many friends! Thanks!!

We visited Burrito Mama for the first time, after family recommendations. It was quiet on arrival with only one couple inside eating. We asked for a table for 2 and were told we could dine at a table for 45 minutes before a booking was due to arrive. We were happy with this as we hadn't booked ahead and weren't planning on being out long. The service was prompt and the food came very quickly. The food was delicious and quality was good. We devoured our food and got our bill all within around 30 minutes. I can honestly say I will be visiting again in the near future. My only dislikings were how cramped it felt where i was seated. I was sat at a table right next to the kitchen door & I assume bathroom. When a gentleman went past to use the rest room, i felt very close to him. Also we were very close to the only couple who were also dining at the next table. Just a couple of feet apart, it felt slightly awkward at times. When I finished my meal, I found it difficult to get up from my seat, as it was against the wall and I had no room to move my chair out any. I do suffer with chronic illnesses which in turn affects my mobility. So the cramped seating space was uncomfortable for me. My partner sat opposite me and he had more room to get up as his chair wasn't against anything. I should of probably sat there. All in all I enjoyed myself and would recommend to anyone wanting hearty Mexican food locally. Food prices are reasonable although £2.75 for a tiny bottle of cola or Sprite did seem expensive. However its the same most restaurants. Thank you Burrito Mama!

Closed their kitchen before their advertised closing time Edit: This is not common practice (I spent a decade working in hospitality) and I fail to see how people dining in prevents you from providing takeaway, especially when you had so little people seated. An easy way to make this obvious to customers is to actually honor your advertised opening hours instead of going on break early or make the appropriate adjustment to your opening hours.

Found this place via Google, as we were looking for somewhere for dinner in Cirencester and wow I’m so glad we found this place! Amazing Mexican food, you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and homemade. The flavours were absolutely delicious! Everything was hot and fresh! Lovely atmosphere in there too with trendy music & lovely people. Just also wanted to mention how fantastic the service was. I have a nut allergy & this wasn’t a problem! All the staff were attentive, friendly & happy. Great place, definitely check it out! You won’t be disappointed 😊🌮🌯

Really tasty burrito for lunch, the desserts are incredibly delicious as well, an absolute MUST have if you go here!

Amazing food. Poor service. We arrived at 2:15pm on a Saturday after having checked that the closing time was 3pm. The restaurant was mostly full with some empty seats at the bar. We asked if we could have the 2 seats at the bar for a quick lunch before getting back to Xmas shopping. There were 2 young ladies behind the counter (in their early 20s) looking very reluctant and hesitant to sit us. Huffing and puffing about how they are closing soon and they want to keep the bar empty. I felt it was quite ridiculous to deny customers 45 minutes before closing time but we were lucky that 2 people left and we could have their table. During the 30 minutes that we were there, we saw and counted a total of 12 people, groups no larger than 3-4 people at a time, being turned away for the same reason. A mother was begging to be seated as her 2 kids were extremely hungry and promised to eat really quick. By this point the restaurant was mostly empty and it was still 30 mins before closing. I am just appalled at the work ethic of the staff at this restaurant. If only the owner knew how many customers were turned away due to the laziness of his/her staff! The food was served very promptly and despite how delicious it tasted, I'm not sure I want to visit again.

The most tasty amazing food and perfect service, also very reasonable prices, cannot rate this family run restaurant highly enough! All the food was amazing but the highlight was the comsumme/dipping sauce that came with the beef burrito!! Will be back for sure, Jo.

We were passing through Cirencester for lunch and caught a scent of something amazing while in a passageway. We found the smell was coming from burrito mama and wanted to try it! Food was absolutely DELICIOUS, I had the chicken burrito while my husband had the beef burrito with a small nachos, portion size was incredibly generous I had to take half of mine away with me but I'll be having that for my dinner! We browsed the dessert menu and had to try the brownie with the maple pecan gelato and dulce de leche and oh my god it was SO worth it! Service was super friendly, decor was fabulous and the vibe was lovely and cosy on a rainy day. I would definitely head back here if I was in the area.

If I could’ve given it zero stars I would have. The service was awful, we got ignored the food was disgusting and uncooked, we got charged for things we didn’t order and got the wrong order. We had to pay for the things we didn’t want as no one could be bothered to change it. We got stared at while eating especially by the girl with red hair, she was the worst and I hope to never see her again. I got challenged about having a fake id and my id therefore got viscously scratched. rude service (we got told we were allowed the table for one hour even though there was nothing to say the table was reserved) and we were really disappointed at the food and service. Very very poor.

Stumbled upon this place today, great service, amazing food, the quality of ingredients and attention to detail was spot on and I should mention the wonderful cocktails. Be back next month. 👏🏻

Low-key the food is on point. I don't wanna say too much. Trying not to blow the spot up because I want to find a seat in a Saturday for those damn tacos. Someone knows what they're doing. The menu is simple and done right. The flavours are correct and uncomplicated. Great little selection of beers, only thing I could suggest is to let me recommend some wines for you.
