Very good and staff were brilliant

Really wonderful experience going to the Bush Inn. Recommended from a friend about the lovely picnic bench experience. It really was magical. Having the small portions with so much care put into the food made it a memory everlasting for our group! We will be back! Especially after knowing they do seasonal ones and holidays like Valentines Day and a summer bench! The staff were accommodating and kind. Really helpful we got to swap out our alcoholic drinks to non alcoholic. Thank you for a wonderful time and the decorations everywhere was a lovely touch!

Visited in the 24th for.my.mum.birthday. had the picnic tables outside in the pod. Amazing food service and atmosphere. The staff we brilliant and couldn't do anymore for us. Was a day to.remeber and will 10000% return and highly recommend Thanks again to everyone at the bush

This was my second visit to the bush inn & I was hoping to eat off the menu , as I didn’t enjoy the picnic bench before. This was already booked for a family occasion & this time the food was worse. It tasted like cheap frozen food that didn’t eat well together. The sweet selection was dry & sickly with cheap chocolate covered all over everything. They were decorated for Halloween but didn’t taste good . The sickly tiny drinks didn’t help either. Maybe the chef/ cook should taste all the things together. The pub is nice & the staff are friendly but I wouldn’t go back for the picnic bench again , it’s overpriced as well. One of the male members of staff kept coming over to the table collecting food, it got irritating & my great niece got very intimidated & stopped eating. It was rude & unprofessional, especially taking food which hadn’t been finished. Four out of five of us weren’t impressed with the food & the cost.

Excellent food and atmosphere ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were looking for somewhere to hold a small get together of family for my Mums Birthday. Having had other meals here I thought I’d enquire. Shane was quick to respond to my enquiry and very helpful answering questions I had. There was 25 of us and there was plenty of buffet food, there were lots of compliments about the food. The room we were in was a loving setting for chatting and catching up with the family. The service was excellent, we were checked on lots of times to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was ok for us. Thank you so much to Shane and all the team. 5 star venue, food and staff.

I had my baby shower here at the start of October so we had the autumn benches and it was amazing, they thought of everything down to the mini hot chocolate. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to our group. The place was beautiful and it was very reasonably priced! The waitress went above and beyond to take pictures for our group. The staff even delivered food to my partner outside in his car when he ordered food! One of my guests was gluten free and they had lots to choose from and was catered for perfectly! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

Absolutely exceptional service and food again

This place seems to be an Instagram/Tiktok trap and is style over substance. If you want something that looks cool for your Instagram e.g picnic table tapas or the decor of flowers then go. Otherwise don't bother. The food is generally meh at best and it feels very much like you are conveyor belt of service. The cakes taste like knock off Costco cakes. I took a bite from each and didn't bother to finish them. The savoury food is bland and boring. Drinks were pretty gross.

I love with the bush Inn. Staff are brilliant and the picnic bench is such a lovely idea and a lovely idea. I am in love with the place. Am already planning my return visit. 10/10 x

The sunday roast was fabulous and the protion size perfect for us, the staff were friendly, polite and helpful, would highly recomend this place, the prices were very reasonable as well.in all a very welcoming and enjoyable experience

Absolutely fantastic! Saw this place on TikTok and realised it was local, so we booked the Afternoon Tea Picnic Bench online via their website for the next day. Beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked! Incredibly dog friendly, they sat us down and immediately provided treats and a water bowl - the pooch menu was a lovely touch (our spaniel had a blast). Friendly staff and efficient service. It was also very thoughtful to be provided with paper bags at the end of the meal, to take what we couldn’t finish home. Can’t wait to visit again with the rest of the family.

Food was okay, bit expensive (for what it was) and quite a bit of confusion / delays. Staff were friendly and clearly trying their best, maybe just understaffed. I would say the dining area we were put in felt like more of a group party area (bright pink walls, seating, pop music, etc), rather than a nice pub ambience so it did ruin the atmosphere a bit for us.

So beautiful here, kids loved it too. Food amazing. Xxx

I popped it on my bike ride to see if I would have a table as not booked in advance. They accommodated me well. I went for one of bench deals they are so famous for and a starter breaded mushroom. I was somewhat disappointed with the bench meal. It certainly was not worth £25 for one person. There was three mozzarella sticks half a ramekin of three pieces of chicken a half of a half a fish a good portion of chips. Sweet option plentiful but not fresh. So just tasted it and left almost all of it? Not worth the price in my opinion. Saying that I enjoyed the breaded mushrooms which was own made and I would like to try the proper food menu if I was to go there again.

We went for food here, as a first time experience. Firstly, we sat down with a drink at our booked table. Our food bench then came out, and unfortunately we were slightly disappointed! We had a hair in the chicken and bacon and asked the waitress to take it back. I then found another hair on the scone, we then asked if they can do something about this as this wasn’t acceptable. No-one came back to us on this until we got to the bar to pay. The gentleman behind the bar didn’t acknowledge us until he handed us the bill too pay. He then said he took £5 off the bill, to which we said that wasn’t acceptable. He then became abrupt because we had mentioned our issue here, so we asked for his name. At this point the gentleman slammed the pay machine down on the bar, and wouldn’t acknowledge us! Considering the price of this service, we were expecting better! Really disappointing!

We had a fantastic time here, the staff and food were all wonderful.

The epitome of a Herefordshire country pub. The food was good, staff friendly and attentive. I don't think you will be disappointed..

Had a rump steak last week. Cooked to perfection and so tasty. Chicken tenders to start and home made Bakewell tart for desert all equally delicious. Generous portions meant I could hardly move after three courses. Excellent value and highly recommended. I’m not surprised the Bush Inn is always busy

The pub and staff was lovely and also the dome we hired but what you pay for the actual food which I thought was bad in itself really wasn't worth £50 so you are just basically paying for the experience

Only booked us for 2 instead of 4, although we had paid a deposit for 4, but they rectified the mistake, and we had a wonderful time, 150 mile round trip, but well worth it

The team here are beyond exceptional, the booking process was flawless, great communication throughout, we were met with friendly smiling faces who were nothing but helpful, we had a booking of 12 and they allocated us a really great space at the venue, which of course is beautiful! the decor really is a feast for the eyes and while we mention feasts we indulged in their scrumptious spring picnic benches, everything was delicious! if you're looking for an afternoon tea that isn't standard finger sandwiches and boring scones this is the place for you! homemade delights, plenty of them too! innovative display, little bottles, jars and vessels of tasty treats! everything was yummy! couldn't recommend enough!

Visited here for a birthday/mothers day treat with my mum and sisters , pub was beautiful full of flowers everywhere , really friendly welcome and looks amazing, picnic benches were a Mother’s Day theme , food was lovely and is a lot more than it looks ! Great selection of cocktails and also a cocktail tree too , also hot and cold non alcoholic drinks too , service was top class , server took photos for us and all was super attentive, only - for me was one toilet no good as had to queue up and was waiting for ages in passage and was no butter or jam with my scone but would highly recommend this place

Had lovely picnic bench on Saturday night Mother’s Day weekend. 2 hour slot and preordered worked well. Great service although the pub was really busy. Delicious food, cakes and lovely cocktails. Will definitely come back again.

Loved it, 3rd time we have been. You have to book in advance but its so pretty and food is delicious. Service is fab too

Wow!!! If I could give ten stars I would!!!

We’ve been here a few times for various occasions. Service always great and atmosphere lovely. We had a picnic bench for two adults And one for 3 year old. What we had was lovely. Was it worth £25 a head for the adults and £13 for the little one? No not really. The sweet choices are so sickly sweet (and I have a sweet tooth) that you feel sick more than full. Not saying it wasn’t nice as it was, but to spend £72 for two adults and one 3 year old I’d expect more than a happy meal size burger (albeit nice). 2 shop bought onion rings on a bit of iceberg, a ramekin on curry and rice and a few chips. As for the sweets there was a small slice of brownie, a blondie, a shot glass of cheesecake - more cream than anything, a cake pop, and a shot glass of mousse with a shortbread. Again, the desserts were so sweet you felt sick so left them. There were some shots of juice too. The little one had two fish fingers, a few fries, a pack of mini love hearts, a cake pop and fruit shoot. All nice - served with a smile and lovely staff, but prices don’t warrant what you get. (We did have a glass of wine and Pepsi). However - a lovely establishment that boasts character and charm.

What an amazing place to eat, food was amazing and the service was excellent. Very well decorated, warm and cosy. Brilliant. Let me just add that the restaurant is beautifully tuned in its operation and if your a cheesecake fan, I must say its the best I've had...so if there is no room after your starter and main dish....please get a takeout for the cheesecake ....

Been admiring this place for ages. And boy it did not fail. I book well advance, super friendly on phone and in person. Chose a qutie day was expecting cold outside but with the heater and we had some amazing sun. It was simply beautiful ❤️ thank you for you time They even had blankets just lovely Food was lush but need a doggy bag to take home but well worth it. They were lovely taking our pictures

Would be lovely in summer staff helpful and food good I think it would suit younger families relaxed ambience - we just had Christmas dinner-more costly than I thought but understandable - would try it again but not for special occasion

Had a feeling it was going to be one of those experiences that looks better online than in real life, but was genuinely surprised. Felt it was relatively good value for money and we took quite a bit away with us to enjoy once home. I feel the kids bench could have been a little better and we were given no 'reindeer poop' as quoted on the menu and no explanation until I asked the waitress and was told they had run out. Could have been a better atmosphere with more music. Staff not particularly cheerful considering it was quite expensive and we were visiting for new years eve. Decorations were amazing. Hot chocolate to die for. 4 out of 5 starts. Would visit again.

We had a Christmas picnic bench for the money per person the standard of food is very poor quality. Didn’t enjoy it.

What a lovely little pub . The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The place was decorated for Christmas which were amazing and had a really nice feel about it. I had Lamb roast which was great, wife had broccoli and cheese bake again lovely , the Biscoff cheesecake was something else ! Car park was pretty full when we arrived but managed to squeeze in . Highly recommend.

It was such an amazing place, well worth the drive from Cardiff for the Christmas Picnic bench. It felt like Christmas as soon as we pulled up in the car park, and it only got more amazing as we entered the bar areas and the rest of the Inn. The food was plenty for two and really well thought out with plenty of taste and treats included, the price was also a big surprise when the bill cane for both the food and drinks very reasonable 😀 five stars all round. We would like to thank the staff and owners along with the chef for providing us with an amazing overall experience it was the full Christmas Meal in a Christmas Grotto Experience you have gone over and above so many other places that we have been to before at this time of year, thank you so much. We wish you all the bestxandcevery success for the future. we will come back again for sure 👍 😀.

Very pleasant country pub serving well cooked food and a good range of local drinks on tap. The seasonal floral displays are amazing inside and out and certainly makes an impression. Staff are local and made us feel very welcome.

Living in the locality we couldn't understand why we had never visited The Bush Inn before. We called in by chance for Sunday Lunch and were immediately made welcome. The Inn is decorated everywhere with flowers, quite stunning. The food was excellent; we had roast beef; as was the starter and the large pudding. We will definitely be going back taking our relatives with us. Ps I very rarely write reviews…….

As a powerlifter, how on earth can anyone leave here hungry? I can't believe. The owner is a great character. All the 1 stars are clearly related to Victor Meldreth. If the Hoff loved it here, then that says it all. To all the moaners of greasy food, if you're on a health kick, get back to food prep and avoid this place unless cheat meal day

Been many many times for benches, roasts, baby showers, mothers day, girly catch ups, perfect for all events. We always have the best time, great food and the staff are friendly.. They always remember you and have a chat. Definitely a firm favourite in our family.

The owner is rude, impolite and just generally a vile human being. Avoid at all costs! He singles out certain people who don’t fit in his “customer base” belittling them and putting them done. 1 star is too good for this place

Really nice staff ,food quality ok

We've been waiting quite some time to get a visit to The Bush. It didn't dussapoint. The picnic bench was worth the wait and wonderfully delicious.

We ate here on a hot Saturday lunchtime. There were umbrellas for shade and a couple of pods in case it was colder. It was busy but the service was good and they were very helpful and attentive with our queries about allergies. We just had a few starters and a fajitas. The food was quite nice. The fajitas were good and homemade. It was a large portion. The most memorable thing about the pub was the flower decorations which were all over the pub and great for photos. The views were great too.

Can't comment on the food as I just had coffee but other people were having the Summer picnics which looked amazing. I also liked the sound of the cocktail trees.

Service was good for accomodating our unique situation however didn't like the interruption of our meal to remove partial elements on our benches that we had finished.

Service and drinks were good. We had the roast beef Sunday meal. The starter was good. However, the main course was abit disappointing: The beef was plentiful and tender but sightly over-cooked and dry. The Yorkshire pudding was awful...a puffed-up heap of dry dough. We left most of it. Vegetables were well cooked. Gravy was better than it looked. Overall, this was not the best Sunday lunch we have had recently and only medium value at the price.

First time visiting The Bush Inn yesterday for my 25th birthday after seeing it recommended all over my social media and from family and friends and honestly I was so impressed. The staff are very welcoming on arrival and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and came out very quick and efficient (loved the picnic bench idea). Absolutely loved the floral decorations, pods and photo opportunities very up my street with the most beautiful countryside background to follow. We pre booked with a £5 deposit per head. Great kids menu and portion sizes are fab as well. Worth the visit with parking outside and great value for money for what they offer. Can’t wait to return in the future! Ps loved the cocktail menu 🍹

My partner and her friends absolutely love this place very Instagramable, staff are so friendly and helpful and food is amazing, we booked the dome for mother's day and they absolutely loved it nice and secluded and lovely views of the horizon get to play your own music and have a heater / air con unit if needed, also have blankets if you wish to use them, lovely garden type swing outside for the photos and the whole place is head to toe in flowers, so brilliant for the the special occasions.

Lovely place, service very good fast and friendly. Loved the theatrics of it all however everthing was far far to sweet for me, akin to a childs Birthday party ( bags suplied for take out luckily) As this was prebooked by one of the party, unable to chose different option . It would of been nice to have a savory option on the menu with the same set up but idea great idea in all.

Came in on Saturday 11th February at 18:15. Service was good, the experience was OK; was a little different having a picnic bench of food instead of a meal, too many sweet options for me, wouldn't go again but wouldn't say it was terrible. Just not really my cup of tea
