Correct meal, standard price, welcome without a smile, without sympathy, without flavor... The 60-year-old brunette lady and the 30-year-old young man don't want to see you, too bad...

Very long wait time for just 2 dishes and 2 sides, we wait 45 minutes and the pub was empty! The portion was ridiculous for the price we had paid and the taste wasn't even that great, also the toilet was horrible, it was a very strong smell 9f urine and the wc was really dirty and full of paper on the floor!!!!

The food is delicious, but it takes a long time.

Only popped in for a drink. We had a lager and an ale and unfortunately they didn't taste as good as they should. I would have thought for a pub in a busy area there would be enough demand to not let the beers go a bit stale.

I'm a tourist. I really liked the atmosphere in the pub. Very polite staff. Polite girl Lucy. I don’t speak English well, she helped me choose dishes. Thank you. I'll definitely come back again.

Incredibly surprised to see a highlight as LGBT friendly. Two women were asked to leave the premises after briefly kissing at the bar last night. The bouncer appear to have been embarrassed about having to ask the ladies to leave, so was clearly an order from staff or management. Completely unacceptable.

I visited this pub on my trip to London from New York. I have to say, the service received was phenomenal and far better than what I am expected to pay by tip in the states. The “land lady” was incredibly helpful, she even directed me to the station! Will definitely visit again next time I’m in London!

I went here for the first time with a few friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The steak was amazing. I will definitely like to cone back and try other things on the menu. I would also like to experience the atmosphere there on match days.

The site is very beautiful. The burger I ordered was fantastic with the dish and everything I ordered. The waiter is more serious and dry than a cactus. The normal environment. Like in England. Each one to his own

A small, very good location with delicious food, a good selection of drinks and a great atmosphere. There's something for everyone and football fans will also get their money's worth! Highly recommended, full marks 😉

As a huge Chelsea fan this is the perfect spot to visit after the watching the game at the local pubs. It is a self service restaurant where you seat yourself and order at the bar. The food and drinks were a reasonable price. Giving the food 5 stars due to the quality of the food however there needs to be a little more seasoning on all the food. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit!

The beer was excellent and Chelsea was playing Liverpool and the fans were great. After the match everyone left and we had some more beer because the pub was very nice.

Been here twice. Both times the food was actually rank. The nachos were so basic betch- like super salty Doritos with eff all cheese and toppings.. like one in every dorito chips had a topping on it. I could 100% make a better nachos in two minutes at home. Where is the home-made salsa, guacamole and sour cream - and no protein option to add on?! Actually embarrassingly bad. The second time I ordered “BBQ chicken” and got some dry crusty fillet with fake cheese sauce smeared on top (?!), two tiny onion rings and mini Roma tomatoes. Weirdest meal ever. Seriously - pick up your game. Try getting some proper craft beers too… like Estella and moretti are hardly novel.

Visited this pub on a Saturday early evening. The service was very much take it or leave it. Perhaps it had been a busy day although it wasn't a Chelsea match day. We ordered five 'Small plates' to share between two. The food came out in the blink of an eye with is always a bit worrying. It had obviously been prepared for a while and left a lot to be desired. The Bao Buns were tough and chewy and not like Bao Buns should be. Everything was just a bit dry and tired. Been to a lot of Greene King branded pubs over the years and sadly this wasn't one of the best.

I did not eat here, but I had drinks here three nights in a row, while staying across the street. One bartender we had (2 of the nights) was super grumpy and unfriendly, but the other one was fine.

This pub has got even better with the new landlady Lucy... an absolute darling who looks after every customer on a first name basis...wise head on young shoulders...the only problem is that it's too comfy now... I spend more time here than at home 😁!

Apparently has a new chef - what a disgrace. Stale, stale food, stingy on the main ingredients. I wouldn’t believe the chef would be happy to eat the food them themselves. Waitress was acknowledging and apologetic that’s the only reason for 2 stars.

The pub is one of the best in the area, great atmosphere and the staff are the best! You should definitely come here for a drink.

My husband & I had lunch. We both ordered steak Pie, it was infact a gravy filled brick! There was no steak in mine just 3 tiny fatty bits of unedible grissle. It was frankly a disgrace. The waiter said nothing they could do they are part of a chain. My husband did enjoy his apple cider.

Morsels of "Steak" and kidney pie" . Judge for yourself in the picture. Picture BEFORE eating..Thick pastry with a couple of scraps of grisel steak inside . How is this allowed? Bar staff said there is nothing they can do about it. Poor show. Excellent chips peas and cider. Opposite Chelsea Football club entrance.

Normally, I don't take the time to write poor reviews for places with mostly good food and a pleasant atmosphere, but I feel compelled to share. Despite the quality of the food, the customer service has been consistently unsatisfactory during both of our visits. The first time we went, we were unsure of the protocol for ordering, as we are not regulars at British pubs (we are foreigners) When we asked the bartender if we should wait for table service or order at the bar, his response, short and snippy, was that we needed to order at the bar. While this wasn’t a major issue, it definitely set a tone. Today, we decided to give the it another chance, but the experience only reinforced our decision not to return. We sat for a bit to decide on our order and then approached the bar. The bartender seemed visibly displeased to be taking our order, his expression and tone of voice displaying clear irritation. My partner ordered a veggie burger and asked for cheese on it, to which the bartender rudely remarked, “it’s not really much of a veggie burger then, is it?” While not inherently rude, the way he said it in such a snarky way felt uncalled for and left us feeling quite unwelcome. When our food arrived, my partner’s burger did not come with the requested cheese, and I did not receive the fries I had ordered, despite having repeated the order multiple times. Overall, while the food is good, the consistently unpleasant service creates an unwelcoming environment that significantly detracts from the experience. It’s a shame, as I see this place has mostly good reviews. Why the attitude?

Location is great but the service was slow and the food was poorly presented and a bit tasteless.

Great staff food served quickly. However my son is disabled and although he's 29 he got asked for ID not a problem there we have a nationally recognised id card with us. The bar man said he doesn't accept it only passport or driving licence. We also carried his passport with us. If the police and security services accept it as ID then the pub should also accept it. Would if been 5 star if we didn't encounter this problem.

Grilled cheese sandwich was two slices of bread and some cream cheese spread in the middle put on a George foreman. Tasted bland, the salad had a weird tasting dressing (think sour and bitter) That was £9! The pie was decent. Cleanliness.. meh.

We stopped by for a couple of pre-dinner beers. Nice, quiet pub near Stamford Bridge. Good beers, nice environment. Great selection of whiskies. It is the historic pub where, in 1905, Chelsea FC was officially founded. Promoted.

Found this lovely pub for lunch and then went back for dinner the next day. If staying at the Copthorne nearby it is definitely worth a visit. Nice atmosphere, great service and good quality food and value for money. If coming back this way would have a return visit.

Brought some foreign guests here for lunch before we went to the Chelsea stadium. The food was above average. The waiting staff helped us along most of the way, explaining the menu to our foreign friends.. Great location

TRADITIONAL, with a touch of modernity spacious pub opposite one of the entrances to the Chelsea stadium. During our weekend in London we stayed at the Copthorne hotel, right next door, we couldn't help but try it, at least once. We found it not very crowded, but it was Monday evening. Good beers, decent dishes, low bill.

Had a drink here before the stadium tour. Excellent prices, but there is no service, sitting in the sun

Popped in here on way back from Chelsea shop and it was nice. Had the lunch deal which as good an alcho drink and a meal for GBP10. Food was alright, typical pub food. Would come back.

The first trip was just lunch while we explored the area. The food was great. The second visit was pre-game... As Chelsea fan, there isn't a better atmosphere!

Great Atmosphere whether it’s for the football or just a couple of pints this place is perfect. The food hits the spot as well.

We came to enjoy Easter lunch with family and were disappointed! Maybe our expectations were too high.. being Easter? The roast and veggies were barely warm. Puds were good though: sticky toffee pudding with plenty of custard brownie with icecream but shame the warm drinks machine was not working so we badly missed on a nice cuppa to complement the desserts. We won't come back for food here again but guess this historic pub can be a great place to enjoy drinks before or after a match.

Nice clean pub . Well kept beer . Security staff tad aggressive ( everybody out at eleven ) no drinking up time apparently...🤔. It was a Chelsea woman's game v Real Madrid ...maybe it was a bit stressful for everyone. Shame really because everything else nice .
