Caf Amisha in Southwark

We've been clients of this fine establishment for over 10 years, and can honestly say that their food does not dissapoint. It's been really consistent over the years, along with retained staff, which if always a good indicator of how well a place works. We love the team, love the food and will keep coming back for more! We always enjoy the spicy pizza amisha picante and their arrabiata, our son always get the margharita or pepperoni, and we have tried many of their pasta and specials, really worth a try. All the italians come flocking back after they've tried it once!

Fantastic authentic food and lovely staff make this easily one of the best Italians around. Very family and pet-friendly. We've been coming here for a while and have yet to visit a better Italian in London.

I've been here a few times, and carbonara pasta is so good, I almost considered proposing to the chef. 😂 Also, they serve it with a huge jar of grated parmezan, and you can go crazy 🤪 I walked in hAngry (you know, that level of hunger where even the menu feels like a personal attack), but they sorted me out quickly, and I left with a full belly and a big smile.

Fantastic! The place is packed and buzzing so much that we were happy to be seated in the terrace. Service was super friendly and very efficient. Food was really yummy and can’t wait to come back again and bring my friend from Sardinia!

My favourite restaurant in London!

After probably a year of being told to check out this place me and my partner came to dine here. We were greeted extremely well and seated instantly! It was very busy and the atmosphere felt lively and made me look forward to the food. The waiter and waitress were great and attended when needed. The food came really really quick! We ordered a garlic bread like starter, which was a lil greasy.. but filling! Also a bruschetta which my partner enjoyed! For mains I ordered a prawn and mussel pasta dish which was nice but I wasn’t liking the fact I had to de-shell a clean my prawns before eating, however they were nice!! My partner ordered a lasagna which she enjoyed. Overall it’s a nice place and would definitely go back again to try other dishes 😊

I have dined in at the restaurant and I have had a great experience food really tasty and very nice people. I live nearby so I have ordered a couple of times form them all of them was greatly disappointed. 3 times food arrived cold and tasted like was precooked. All times delivery was extremely fast ( given the fact that I live literally down the street) however I could see from the apps that food left place after 10mins. Tonight pizza came to me around 15mins after order placed and was COMPLETELY cold. I gave a few chances but I am afraid this was the last time I will order..

This is a very authentic Italian restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere. Authentic Italian cuisine with great flavours, fresh ingredients + really nice service we had burrata, pizza pasta and tiramisu and all were amazing - we will 100% be coming back again. Fantastic pizza dough with perfect amount of crunch.

Absolutely AMAZING. Francesco and the team go above and beyond. Came to London just for Cafe Amisha, food and service is amazing, but it’s not your usual friendly service, Francesco and the staff make you feel at home. Francesco made sure our dietary requirements were met, and even if he was really busy he carefully packed what we had bought from the restaurant deli (paradise!) in boxes because he knew we had a long drive ahead. Francesco and team GRAZIE, you guys are the best! Can’t wait to come back already :) Ps. BEST PIZZA IN THE UK and definitely the best Pannacotta! They also have a shop/deli in the corner of the restaurant, with a vast variety of Italian products and groceries at great prices. Just the best!

This is my third time visiting for dinner, and I can confidently say that the service is fantastic and the food is amazing. I regret not leaving a review after my first visit during my graduation. When we arrived, I hadn’t made a reservation, but the staff warmly welcomed all my family and friends with big smiles. They were very attentive and made us all feel great.

We are in London several times a year and we always stop at Cafe Amisha. Food is authentic and delicious. The owner is so warm and welcoming and the staff is great. I love the pizza and pasta bolognese the best.

I really love the place..it feels like back home in italy with warm atmosphere and the food is really amazing..the beautiful welcome from Francesco,Paola and the staffs (Maria is my favorite) and the chef Leonardo and Mario..but really they all are very friendly and my two kids loves everything about it ❤️

Excellent welcome from the host as well as excellent food, all very fresh. We have been there several times, the dishes of the day are always good and the pizza is special, as good as we are in Italy...a shame not to drop by....I recommend it for an excellent lunch or dinner but also for a drink, the cocktails were delicious.

Pizza is obvs great - and not only - you’ll find fresh fish, a selection of pasta, soups, meat, amazing desserts and a cute little deli next door. A must go. Always loved this place until a woman was acting like we were trying to leave without paying and seemed very off .Also felt like we were being made to be rushed as staff kept coming to collect plates every 5 minutes but not coming to ask how the food was like they did to other tables but asking are we done eating when my son had pizza on his plate and my partner had bolognaise still as she was feeding our baby in the high chair .me and my partner come here all the time for our birthdays and to be treated like that after spending almost £100.The staff are always nice but I don’t take kindly to that disrespect on my girlfriends birthday .That’s the last time I return.

I was for lunch today with my dear friends and it was all wonderfully delicious from the appetizer to the dessert!! I ate a very good linguine with seafood, good cooking of the pasta mixed well and good seasoning!! Really good! Also to say that I am a chef and there is nothing nicer than sitting down and eating well! Great work! And also the environment very friendly warm and kind.. I recommend it to everyone, it is a must try!

The perfect Italian restaurant, just around the corner by Grange road and facing the Spa Garden of Bermondsey. Everything on the menu is superb, especially love the pasta variety :) The staff is friendly and the food is authentic. They have both outdoor and indoor seating and is usually full on the weekends. You’d likely find a place within a few minutes of waiting which reflects their efficiency and good service. They have their cute little store and coffee shop attached to restaurant. You can find a good variety of traditional Italian biscuits and wine options here, as well as some nice pasta and sauces too. Would definitely recommend their tiramisu, its just soo good!

We used to visit Amisha quite often, but lately, the service has been off. On our last two visits, despite specifically asking the waiter to bring the starter first, all the food was brought out at once and just placed on the table. This happened twice, and unfortunately, the owner seemed indifferent, as if we were the problem, not the waiter. That being said, the food is consistently good—panna cotta, pasta, pizza—everything is delicious. You won’t be disappointed when it comes to the food.

Great as always, it feels like being back home. Great value/quality and it also a place to make new friends and strengthen existing relationships. Can’t wait to go back

Sussex, pero nos encanta el ambiente, el gran servicio y la buena comida en Amisha. Una mención especial a Lola, que se esforzó por hacer la hora de la comida especial para nuestra mesa de 11. Todo el mundo disfrutaba de su comida, y la factura era muy razonable. Gracias, equipo Amisha. Crucemos los dedos, llego a 80, y nos vemos de nuevo.

Booked a party of 23 for a pre-wedding dinner. Food is fabulous. Service is excellent. And the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Francesco and the team are helpful and accommodating for all dietary requirements, kids, babies, last minute changes, etc. A brilliant local restaurant. Everyone is complimenting me for organising the party - but all I did was choose Cafe Amisha.

This restaurant has become a family ritual. It has everything that is missing in London right now- handshakes/hugs/beaming smiles when you are greeted at the door- great prices for locally sourced ingredients- bring as many kids & dogs as you like- discretionary service charge.... I have been many times and in many occasions to Cafe Amisha from small dinner to bigger parties and every time i go is very hard to leave. The atmosphere is indescribably amazing, the food is outstanding and the customer service is top of the top, very hard to find nowadays in London something like this. Recommending them is not enough, they deserve all the prizes in the city. Thank you Francesco and to the rest of team! If you want to feel at home and feel like in Italy this is the right place to be!

Excellent quality Italian food, with fantastic service to match. We went for an early pre-concert meal, so the restaurant was quiet, and we were greeted by name! Nice to sit in the covered, but outside veranda. We wouldn’t hesitate to make a return visit.
