I have been using Cafe Dale regularly since Christmas 2022 and I have never had a single issue. The owners are very polite, friendly and accommodating. The food has always been fresh and amazing. The customer service is better than you could expect. I highly recommend this place. I would be surprised if anyone had anything negative to say!!

The lady who served me is very friendly and welcoming and very polite. I got a caramel frappes and it tasted very amazing and she welcomes everybody that comes in the door and I will come back here again.

From the very beginning I was treated warmly and kindly despite my hard hearing. The staff wore dazzling smiles and were efficient. The coffee was sublime and hot with just the right amount of foam and lovely coffee art too. It is very clean and neat. I could happily bring my partner and child, most definitely excited to try the food next time!

An amazing selection of hot drinks and cakes (including gluten free). I was given a warm welcome as soon as I entered and made to feel special whilst waited on. Would highly recommend the ruby hot chocolate.

This is a hidden gem of a place, just off the main shopping area in Southport. It has an excellent choice of gluten free cakes and biscuits and the gf lemon meringue cookie is to die for. Good choice of snacks in a lovely atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Service is very friendly and in my opinion, the best cafe in Southport. You cannot go wrong with Cafe Dale.

Spotlessly clean, well run, cafe. The lady who owns it is pleasant and accommodating. Lots of choice for drinks. I just cannot believe the one bad review on here from someone from Amsterdam. I totally disagree with everything they said except the lady is nice! Yes - I fancied a baked potato for lunch- yes they do not provide them - but we chose a panini instead which was delicious. The furniture and wall decorations makes one feel that you are sitting in your friends house having a snack. I think this lady is starting out in her new business and she deserves support. May you go from strength to strength.

My brother, sister and I struggled to find an independent open coffee shop open on Monday morning, so glad we found Café Dale, we all had an excellent full english breakfast with hot drinks. We received prompt courteous service, hearty food, cafe was clean & tidy, toilet was spotless. The bonus was, our waitress overhead it was our Sister's birthday and presented her with a delicious slice of homemade Victoria sponge, as a complimentary surprise. Please seek out this eatery if your passing, and the cabinets of homemade cakes, were irresistible, so we purchased some to takeaway. Will definitely return when back in the area.

Visited here today with my partner and little boy and I must say this is the worst cafe I have ever visited in my life. Not much to choose from so you would think the food would be nice, but no the sausages were not proper sausages they looked like they could of been Turkey sausages so maybe should of been told or should of said on the menu also they were enemic, the bacon also wasn’t proper bacon I haven’t got a clue what it was but everything got left, the vibe in the cafe was just very weird the lady behind the counter was a nice lady but not very good customer service in my eyes as she asked us how the food was and we said well not very good tbh in that case she maybe shouldn’t of charged us for what wasn’t eat. In other words think twice before coming here if you want a proper English breakfast this isn’t the place for you unfortunately.

Brilliant festive party night as per usual!! King prawns, turkey (loads and moist), and brûlée all top notch. Great atmosphere and service was fab considering it was packed to the rafters. Booked for Elvis in Jan to cheer the new year up. Thanks to the gang.

Having walked nearly 10 miles along the beach, the dunes and through the pinewoods, Kitty’s Tea Rooms were a very welcome sight! I only wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t resist the coffee walnut cake (YUM) and a very tasty Club Sandwich. Very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect.

Arriving shortly after opening time we availed of outside seating, in the shade underneath the sturdy build brick canopy. An inviting breakfast menu is on offer. Opting for an Eggs Benedict and cereal was perfect, with coffee and cappuccino. It was getting increasingly busy as time went on, but staff were great, cheerful and efficient throughout. A grand start to the day.
