Ordered online with them, half the order didn’t turn up, got back in touch with them through their Uber driver who was rude and told me he “had to get back to work” when he hadn’t delivered what I’d paid for, I would avoid. I also ordered carrrot juice that came completely warm in clingfilm… not impressed

I had a really enjoyable experience at the Edmund Tylney. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The pub has a nice atmosphere and is a great place to meet up with friends.

1 High StreetAfter changing many landlords, trying to be a posh restaurant, a pizzeria, a sports bar and just the village pub-which is what this establishment was most successful at (in particular during lockdown it provided a welcome chilling opportunity with its large beer garden and kids area) … this longstanding local pub has closed down. Bookham locals will miss its familiar band nights and outdoor summer time drinking

Abinger LaneThat is defininitely it...My last ever visit to the Hatch...Bar staff seem to have no awareness of who is waiting and in what order...and they are incredibly rude and unwelcoming....I eventually got served despite others who arrived after getting served ahead of me..Found an empty table and sat down to enjoy my drink only to be told in a very brusque manner by a member of staff to move as "I am about to seat a couple here"....I was so taken aback that I got up and moved...Then I realised that there had not been any reserved sign on the table (thats why I sat there)...When i queried this with the staff member he said "we don't have to put reserved signs down"...So I was was hoofed out of the table for a recently arrived couple...I will never go back there again....Been going there on and off for 12 years...sadly I've always have average/mediocre service and put up with it...Today was the last straw...Good riddance...Plenty of better pubs close by...Royal Oak or Wotton Hatch to name a couple...

4 High StreetLovely coffee shop with great view of the Dorking high-street. I regularly get drinks here from salted caramel frappes to English teas! Very family friendly as there’s a lift for push chairs/ wheel chairs so is easily accessible) with dogs welcome too. Staff are extremely friendly, always welcoming and homely. Easy and safe space to be in and know I’ll always get the service I want/need :) Would recommend!
