Cafe Lavista in Tower Hamlets

¡Si no has probado este lugar, debes! ¡Su pastel de arco iris es el mejor pastel de todos! Visito Brick Lane un par de veces al año, ¡y todos los días tengo que entrar y tomar una porción! Llegué hoy y, por supuesto, me llevé una porción de vuelta al hotel. Acabo de volver por 2 porciones más y volveré mañana antes de irme. El pastel no solo se ve bonito, sino que sabe increíble. Tarta suave y húmeda con deliciosa crema de mantequilla dulce. Además cada rebanada es literalmente del mismo tamaño que mi mano. ¡Mi único deseo es que te hagan una tarjeta de fidelidad donde te den un sello por cada compra! Las encantadoras damas detrás del mostrador son tan amables y acogedoras. ♡

I came with my two best friends, we were served by Promila she was very accommodating, was very helpful and the service was amazing. We were seated immediately and our order taken very quickly which is always lovely! English Breakfast is best.Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again!

FIRSTLY, the service was extremely poor! Waited over 40 minutes for the food to come. However, sausages and Turkey were not cooked enough (it looks raw and it has been microwaved). Therefore, we had to wait extra 10-15minutes and yet, this was still not fried enough. The mushrooms and beans were watery and bland. SECONDLY, the front house lady, appalling attitude with no apologies for the delay, having taking almost 1hour. Instead she gave poor excuses saying “we have to cook from frozen” as if we haven’t been in other cafes and they don’t do the same themselves! In all my years I have never come across waiting for a full English breakfast for almost an hour!! Moreover, we were the only customers in the cafe, it’s baffling! I would never recommend this place to anyone who wants a full English breakfast, it’s just atrocious! I am extremely disappointed especially the attitude and the remarks of the waitress! She shouldn’t be a job that requires hospitality. Not a single apology and WALKS OFF WITH AN ATTITUDE IN MID CONVO, so disrespectful.

The best coffee shop in the brick lane ☺️ Breakfast was so testy . Coffee test like 100% Italian. Inside very nice and clean.

The coffee and food were lovely. The staff made me feel very welcome and once I’d placed my order they brought it over to us when ready. I will be returning to this comfortable, relaxed location on Brick Lane when I’m passing next
