Ushaw Road
went to the longship with my partner and kids. we all had food, meals were great value for money, service always very good. the blonde girl who works there Claire is amazing, always goes above and beyond and makes an effort with our kids and just generally very nice and outgoing. my kids love visiting the longship, always get some colouring in sheets and made to feel very welcome. a lovely local that we're lucky to have on our doorstep

Newcastle RoadWe visited The Travelling Man for Dinner. The waitress seated us quickly and offered us drink. We had a good look over the the menu and there was a few great options. I opted for the beef brisket with fries and gravy. We waited around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The meat was very tender and melted in the mouth and accompanied with the fries and gravy, it made for a great filling meal.
