Cafe Quays in Southwark

Una maravillosa y tranquila cafetería / restaurante a la vuelta de la esquina de nuestro alojamiento de airbnb. La mejor bienvenida posible a Londres por parte de un personal amable que dio muchos buenos consejos para un maníaco de turismo como yo, junto con una taza de café extraordinariamente sabrosa. Definitivamente volveré antes de irme.

Tucked away off the main road (Evelyn Street). A small family run cafe with a large selection for breakfast and lunch (they close by 3 pm everyday). The food is typical British. Typical breakfast could include bacon or cumberland sausage, beans, potato cakes, fried bread, fried mushroom and eggs. Lunch could be burgers, something grilled or lasagne, We were there for breakfast and each special was under £5. The waiter was our chef - remember - small place and the other staff member was on break. I first ate there almost 20 years ago when his father was the owner/chef. Service was friendly and quick, good portions, good food, very reasonable place, and clean.
