Absolutely terrible latte. scalding hot and needed to be left stood for 15 minutes before it was even drinkable

Nice Nero Cafe inside the Mall. After long time shopping, decided to relax here at this Cafe. I ordered Cappuccino and Caramel Waffles. Amazing tase like Starbucks or Costa but for me it’s better tasty than them.

Very dirty toilets , I have been here lots of times I have never seen any one clear away tables had to do it our self this is the one one ground floor of metrocenter very dirty

The girl who was serving at the till at 10:25 Sunday 23rd june 24 is an asset to Cafe Nero and deserves full recognition. She was speaking words to a lady in front of me in Polish. Recognising in a small way the different culture although she didn't know many words she made the effort and put a huge smile on the lady's face. She continued to chat to myself without compromising to the service. She has a delightful way of serving customers. The coffee itself and pistachio mouse cake was a dream. And due to the 2 girls behind the counter it was a pleasure to sit in feeling welcomed and a valued customer. Highly recommend and will visit in tge future

It was busy and I had to stand for a long time in the queue, which was a first for me at Caffe Nero but it was worth the wait

Coffee was terrible, also a very poor attempt at latte art (a heart) which was just a blob. Milk wasn't even swirled in properly, just poured straight in. Latte was more foam than actual drink. Very poor for such a large brand. Never again, I'll stick to making my own perfect lattes at work (I'll post my gorgeous latte i made) these guys don't know anything about good coffee

Place was empty but all tables were full of plates and cups etc. Had to clear table myself ,staff not bothered ....

Utter rubbish. Dishwasher broke so served in takeaway cups even though sitting in. I asked if a reduction. No was the reply. She was miserable. Cups everywhere. Had to ask for table to be cleaned

Coffee was very watery and quite tasteless. On the plus side the staff were nice and the pain au chocolate, almond croissants gorgeous

Lovely girls serving but a long queue and only two people serving. Coffee was okay, quite strong, not sure I would make it my regular coffee stop

Great coffee and staff very friendly. Had to ask for the key to use the bathroom but I guess in a busy place like the metro centre, people will use the place lifmke a public toilet so I can see the need to keep it locked. No toilet paper in there either. Perhaps more frequent checks on the facilities are needed. It was only 10.20 am when we were there so I'm surprised it was out of paper so early in the day. Would not stop me going again.

Usually meet family on a Sunday afternoon at Nero's Gateshead Metro Centre Yesterday went and asked for diet cokes. Lady on counter pointed to fridge and said they are over there ( difficult when using walking sticks). I went to the fridge where a young lady was stocking up, as there was no diet coke and being a partially sighted diabetic I asked her if there was any or anything diet and she said water. I left and took my custom elsewhere as I will in future.

Stopped by for an iced coffee with the better half and mini-me today and there was a small wait whilst the ice machine put a shift in to rectify the shortage of ice and temporary lack of cold drinks. Boy, was it worth the wait. THE BEST three shot caramel iced flat white I’ve ever had! The staff here are all incredible and a special mention has to go out to the kind and endearing staff member who served us today. I wish I’d caught her name, but I hope she knows who she is. If her boss is reading this, please give her a bonus/pay rise/promotion!!! She’s a real credit to your team.

OK for a nice cup of coffee and a snack,although the coffee was luke warm and the service was very abrupt.

Me and my friend was always in Caffe Nero but when I was in on Thursday the staff have changed not very friendly I had to take my coffee back as it was only half full and the staff weren't very happy because I took it back to be filled up

Tea had nasty after taste and my coffee very bitter But... The apricot pastry and chocolate cake were very nice

First time I've been here but definitely coming back. The vegan cheesecake was second to none, the coffee was beautiful, loads of choices but all this was put into the shade by the attitude and helpfulness of the staff. Their recommendations were spot on and honest. This is how staff should be everywhere

Always love the pistachio latte or cherry iced latte when visiting cafe Nero, my favourite drink at the moment, no other place does these so always a winner lol

Great. Queue as always but they always get through it as quick as they can. Food excellent coffee is fabulous. Pistachio Latte is fab for those who.likr flavoured lattes.

So Caffe Nero is a nice place, but sometimes it depends on which location you visit. The service from staff was poor. They did not seem happy to serve and have no positive expression on their face. I'm not stating they had to smile because we all have our off days. But you could really see from the face of the staff that I was an inconvenience for buying a drink. I've been to Caffe Nero on a few occasions, and their drinks are a hit and miss depending on who is making it. I'd recommend saving your money and going elsewhere as the standards are not up to mark.

Coffee is lovely alike other branches. As this is a mall, it’s harder to get served faster and getting a seat.

Dirty upholstery, only decaffeinated tea bags available (old?). Slow service because it took so long to sort out customers apps and some drinks orders had to be explained in great detail because of their complexity and even longer to make!

Coffee always good and taste nice. Croissant wasn't fresh - taste and look like from previous day. Atmosphere are very good but all seats required good steam clean up. They looked like someone urinates on them. Still better than Costa but going down with cleanest level.

Coffee was fab, as usual in Nero, but sadly the cake was rather stale and had been chilled for too long so was quite hard. It's a shame as more often than not Nero cakes are delicious.

Quick coffee but felt more comfortable sitting at an outside/ mall table.

All staff on Saturday are smiling and they welcome the customers but the staff on Sunday except for one staff do not bother at all. They behave as though they do not know you and do not care.

It's Cafe Nero, if you don't know what to expect from Cafe Nero. Then where have you been? But seriously, if you are yet to try Cafe Nero, get there, and ask for a Caramel Latte, from the specialty menu.
