My favourite spot in London. I have been here several times now and the food and service never disappoints 👌🏼

Permítanme comenzar diciendo que la comida aquí es increíble y a menudo es mi opción - a la recomendación para los amigos en la zona que buscan un bocado para comer. Esta fue la tercera visita de mi novia y yo, la única diferencia es que esta vez asistimos un sábado por la noche ocupado el 23 de noviembre de 2024. Tristemente, no nos sentimos particularmente bienvenidos esta vez (que suele ser un gran atractivo del lugar). Para las bebidas, no estábamos listos para pedir durante aproximadamente diez minutos. Durante este tiempo, el servidor se nos acercó dos veces persiguiéndonos por encargo y (sin rodeos) nos recordó el tiempo que teníamos la mesa hasta entonces. Quizás reflejando la popularidad de un sábado por la noche, pero nos fuimos sintiéndonos ligeramente decepcionados por un lugar del que ambos habíamos hablado anteriormente.

Siamo stati consigliati da amici e ci siamo andati con alte aspettative. Purtroppo però mi è sembrata una macchina da soldi, turni doppi per riempire al massimo, vino carissimo, rumoroso, scarsa attenzione al cliente a meno che non sia conosciuto. Ci avevano decantato le tapas ma non erano niente di che, e non lasciano ricordo. Non ho trovato nulla da fotografare e non vedevo l’ora di scappare.

This was our third visit and excellent as before. We will be back next time we are in town.

Good food, attractively presented. Innovative tapas. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely keep coming here regularly.

We made a reservation at 2:00 p.m. and when we arrived they told us that at 2:30 p.m. they close the kitchen and by 3:00 p.m. we have to have ordered a dessert. They could have notified us when making the reservation. Regarding food: - Tortilla: bland and with little flavor. - Octopus: scarce but well done. - Anchovies: We understood that they were "anchovies" so we were disappointed, but in the menu it is clear that they are anchovies. - Croquettes and taco salad: The best thing we ate. - Fideuá with monkfish: Very bad. The fideuá tasteless and watery. Some monkfish were undercooked. We ordered 3 to share and we had almost a whole one left over.

Truly a very good Spanish cuisine restaurant. I have been to Spain several times and I felt like I was back there for a few hours. The staff were very kind and good. It was all really delicious and I would go back immediately. Advise

Fantastic food and friendly service. The Salmon Ngiri is probably the best thing I have eaten this year and as for the Patatas, divine! We moved out of London 12 years ago and Cambio/Tendido is the ONLY thing I miss

This is the best Spanish (Tapas) restaurant in London the location is fab there is a cocktail bar next and opposite a night club ! Every dish was a delight especially the Turbot and venison we had the champagne which was eaqualky delicious. The service from all the staff fantastic so polite and helpful

I used to truly enjoy this place since I have been living nearby, but the way customers are treated now is beyond disappointing. Today, I stopped by with a friend for drinks, and although the place was empty, we were flat-out refused seating once it was clear we weren’t ordering food. This isn’t an isolated incident—on another recent visit, a friend and I ordered a bottle of wine and wanted to try different ports, but we were asked to leave as soon as it was apparent we weren’t ordering a full meal. Frankly, it’s astonishing that a once-welcoming spot on Old Brompton Road now turns away regulars if they’re not dining. For anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere nearby, I’d now suggest "Margaux" instead—they actually know how to treat their customers. Your team seems to think they’re running a Mayfair hotspot, yet even a Michelin-starred restaurants like Hide or Sketch will seat and accommodate customers who just want a drink.

I arrived at the restaurant ahead of my booking and asked if they had an earlier table, otherwise I was happy to wait. They sat me down next door but this morning I found out I'm being charged a very hefty No Show Fee from OpenTable. I called the restaurant for explanations and the manager said I have to write to the Head Office myself asking them to rectify the mistake. Extremely poor customer experience - they make the mistake, I have to deal with it! Going out for a meal is supposed to be fun. This completely ruined the restaurant for me. Changing what was a positive recommendation to never coming back.

It is always great to go to Cambio de Tercio. I think it is such a neighbourhood gem. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is also great... we simply love going there. We are not locals but every time we are in the area we try to book a table there, it never disappoints!

Absolutely delicious meal with great service. We had some tapas to start: king oyster mushroom, jam on iberico, pan con tomate and simple green salad were fantastic. Sea bass and turbot for main were superb too as well as Basque cheesecake for dessert. We will be back!

La cola de buey estaba seca y desmenuzada, como si comiera fibra. Sacrificaron la textura en nombre de la presentación sólo para que esta cola de buey se enrollara en un tronco. El rodaballo estaba demasiado cocido y sin sabor (no estaba condimentado en absoluto). No se molestará en volver, los precios son extremadamente caros para lo que se ofrece

The food is always very good and the service very good however I was very disappointed that I need to cancel/rearrange my booking as two members of our group of six had covid and as it was a celebration I rang and asked to rearrange. I was told that under the terms of booking (which I admit I had not read) they charge £50 per head for cancellation and they were unwavering in this. I have been to this restaurant many many times but will not return - one of our covid group did join the rest as I was not prepared to pay £300 with nobody going!!

Tuna tacos and basque cheesecake: excellent Ham croquettes, mini hot dogs and Padron peppers: very good Turbot and oxtail (from the Specials menu): awful. Turbot was over cooked and had no flavour (total lack of seasoning). The oxtail log was dry and too much minced (like babyfood). The oxtail should be tender! You sacrificed texture in the name of presentation.

Probably the best Spanish restaurant in London , Paco has been a superstar and helped me with a big mistake from the deliveroo rider , and sort my missing items in few minutes . Thanks again.

We were rushed to the table and and our starters arrived literally 2 minutes after ordering. Quickly followed by the beef wellington main that came out burnt and was just shoved on a plate with some vegetables, would have preferred this to be served separately. Dessert was the best dish. Overall the whole meal felt rushed as they wanted the table back, sadly won’t be returning

Fuimos a este restaurante principalmente porque estaba tan cerca de donde estábamos alojados, y estamos muy contentos de que lo hicimos. Aunque es un poco caro, cada plato era exquisito, con el besugo y las patatas siendo excepcional. Pedí una botella de rioja, pero nuestro servidor sugirió un vino español diferente en un rango de precios similar y fuimos con eso. Resultó ser una elección fantástica; solo desearía recordar su nombre. La única crítica que haría es que todo se sentía solo un poco apresurado. Nuestros primeros platos de comida fueron sacados antes de que hubiéramos llegado a la mitad de nuestros aperitivos. Dicho esto, no hubo ningún intento de apurarnos después de haber comido. Creo que es solo el camino de un restaurante de tapas. Una visita de regreso está definitivamente en las tarjetas para nosotros.

My wife and I try to visit as often as we can, as this is our favourite restaurant in london. So when I was thinking of a venue to take clients whilst in london for the cricket, Cambio was my first choice. As ever, the food, service and ambiance were fabulous, and everyone left raving about the evening and adamant they were going to return with their families and friends.

El personal era abrupto, en particular el gerente y honestamente nos hizo sentir no bienvenidos. Estaba muy decepcionado con la comida. Después de haber vivido en España durante 14 años, sé cómo es la comida española de calidad. Esto me temo que no era de buena calidad. Lamentablemente mucho fue frito y no auténtico. Definitivamente evitaría este restaurante.

I absolutely recommend it because we loved the food, we felt like we were at home and the service was very pleasant. We ordered croquettes, patatas bravas, salad taco, bull tail and tortilla.

Food was superb and service very good. But it was too noisy. The tables are close together and the noise spoilt the meal to some extent. Given we paid £200+ per head this was not satisfactory.

We visited here for the first time recently and throughly enjoyed our experience. The staff, from greeting us, to the moment we left, were pleasant, friendly and attentive. We’re big fans of tapas and while some of the dishes on the menu were perhaps a little different to what we’re used to, we loved every dish we had and our experience here was faultless. The area and surroundings of where the restaurant is, is lovely and the restaurant itself is great throughout. There was a good atmosphere within the restaurant and given how busy the inside and outside was, the service was excellent and wait time for the food was good. There is a good selection of dishes on the menu and everything is priced as you would probably expect given the area you are in. A great meal overall, at a great restaurant. It’s somewhere we would highly recommended and look forward to visiting again upon our next visit to London.

The tennis player Rafa Nadal and Alcaraz have been here, and it also offers a wide range of typical Spanish tapas and high-quality Spanish designation of origin wines. I recommend it 💯

The tapas especially the vegetable dishes are my favourites, and I am not the biggest fan of vegetables. The basque cheesecake is a must, I can’t stop raving about it.

Food was good but service was a little bit slow. We waited more than 30 minutes for the main course.

I very rarely comment, but today it seems important to do so here. I have been a customer of this restaurant for several years and must admit to being particularly disappointed by my recent dinner. I will not dwell on the cuisine, but would especially like to emphasize the quality of the service, which was particularly deplorable. Being refused an order because customers have an allotted time to dine is inconceivable to me. The restaurant manager chose to respond to our astonishment with contempt and arrogance. The owner didn't seem surprised by this behavior either. Reading other comments, it appears that this is now house policy. I strongly advise against this restaurant. There are much better options in the area, cheaper and above all much more respectful.

The food was great but I have never experienced service like it, from the waitress we had being incredibly rude, to the manager having a stand off with my mother I’m not sure how to ever get over it and return to what used to be one of my favourite restaurants. The waitress didn’t only speak back and act super offensive but she also told my sister to F..k off as she left the restaurant. No ok at all

One of my favourites in London . It was meant to be a special evening with my family . Unfortunately one individual made sure it was not .. we were served by a rude , dismissive , vile waitress . Being in hospitality myself and dined all over the world , you don’t experience worse . While ordering our main tapas she reminded us we need to leave table at a certain time and she will check the time . My daughter politely addressed her rude and dismissive behaviour , waitress was patronising and sarcastic in return . We then asked for manager and the owner came to our table . The waitress at this stage was laughing behind him at my daughter . He then proceeded to tell us that she is his best waitress . My daughter decided to leave and go home and on her way out the waitress told her to f… off ! The mind boggles . Never again .

The food is consistently good, the raw materials are excellent and always fresh. The wine list is refreshingly extensive , only Spanish. Prices are fair and offer an extensive range of high quality and unusual Spanish wines. Service is both attentive and knowledgable. Atmosphere is lively and authentic. An truly enjoyable evening
