I bought a roll and sausage from the COMRIE shop and was in total disbelief at the cost of £4.40 for 2 small sausages that were luke warm at best an didn't even cover the whole roll. To be paying high end prices I would expect the best and certainly didn't recieve that. I will not be back.

I was in the Comrie shop at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. I wanted a sausage roll for breakfast but they didn’t have any. Poor for a Saturday morning. I then went for the Bacon roll. This wasn’t freshly cooked it was heated in a microwave. It was inedible as the bacon was chewy and hard in places. It also cost £4 which is really expensive for a product that’s been heated in a microwave and inedible. I definitely won’t use this bakery again.

Terrific informative baking class. Iain taught us how to make oatcakes and Selkirk bannocks and the ability to ask questions and get insight into the process was priceless. A great experience.

I purchase rolls and bread and previously purchased cakes but not directly from the shop but from the butchers they supply to which is very good called the Smiddy. The rolls both bron and white are o.k but nothing special and this weekend had a small sliced seeded loaf which I can honestly say we did think much of it pretty tastless. The price of pastries and cakes is just a joke and one of the cheapest things to make are pancakes so why are they so ridiculously priced? Empire biscuits large things but do not resemble empire biscuits in any shape or form. Scones well having won awards for scone making and sponge making I could quite honestly say I could leave you standing. I unfortunately have Spinal issues that make it difficult to do the hobby I love otherwise I wouldn't be purchasing. I think you should look at the size of what you are baking put 4 in a pack of say empire biscuits as those large ones are most off putting. My long and trusted Empires have real butter and makes them truly delicious. I don't want to appear too critical but feel you need to look at pricing if not you will price yourself right out the market. Just wondered if you do the pastry for the butchers.!

I bought a voucher for the sourdough bread making workshop for my husbands Christmas. He attended the class last Saturday and really enjoyed himself. He learnt lots of hints and tips from Ian and hasn’t stopped making bread since! if you’re looking for a present for someone, I’d highly recommend this workshop.

I can’t recommend enough the baking classes at Campbell’s Bakery in Crieff. What better way to spend a Saturday than being taught by Head Baker Iain Campbell himself. We learned about traditional Scottish recipes and took home enough baking to feed an army! Thanks to Ailsa and Iain for a fun, friendly and informative afternoon of baking.

Best eclectic bakery ever! This gem had gingerbread ( gingerdead men— skeletons ) AND delivered the most memorable wedding cake ever! All we did was show them a picture, give dimensions and they created a work of art with a moist sponge cake with layers of almond-flavored buttercream icing. A dream come true! Cheers!

We rented a cottage near Crieff for holiday and been to Campbell's nearly every day, also the shop in Comrie. Both have nice bread and coffee. A few times the croissants were not that fresh, but maybe thats because we were a little later on the day.

Best place for takeaway lunch in Crieff. We love their breads, especially the granary loaf. The fudge donuts are also a favourite with everyone. Their seasonal specials such as haggis oatcakes, stollen bites are also very good. I'm a fan of the cake of the month which is always a nice surprise.
