The food is good and big ! Everything is nice and clean

The best omlet iv had in a Caffe in long time and there eggs royal were delicious and must say the salad is always fresh and dressed with balsamic vinegar very nice and service is excellent

Pretty good cafe. The staff are really welcoming. The food is really good. Better than a lot of the cafes in Croydon to be honest.

Good local cafe. Competitive food prices but food is good. ONLY downside to this place is parking but if you don't drive or are local then good spot.

Big spacious restaurant, tables not squeezed in close together and people at the counter aren’t queuing right next to where people are eating. Friendly welcome and a big menu to choose from. Very reasonable prices and dig portions. I had a bacon and cheese roll which was massive !!! I will certainly come back next time I’m in the area.

I infrequently go to this cafe but everyone I do it's a joy! The bacon and the sausages are so wonderful. It is clean, staff are always attentive and polite.

Good food and friendly service however coffee always tastes burnt - such a shame to spend money on good ingredients and boil them within an inch of their life

My work colleagues had raved about this cafe on the Brighton Road, so I paid a visit with them. Super portions, traditional fare in a clean and well-managed establishment. A lovely brunch was had. Exceptionally good value.

This is the only cafe I eat in nowadays when I fancy a fry up. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly.

We held a birthday party in Canary Cafe 2 weeks ago, it was literally last minute due to the horrible weather, needed to rain check our garden party. Fortunately, we found Canary cafe, the owner and the staffs were very friendly and helpful(we meant to leave at 5pm but they didn’t rush us, end up leaving at 5:30) food was nice and my guests were having good time there.

My colleague and I had breakfast here on Friday and both the food and service were perfect!

Our waitress was rude and grumpy. She tutted when I asked for a glass water and I asked for water 3 times, by this time we had already ordered. Needless to say the food was average and that's being kind. We will not be returning. Such a shame for a local cafe.

Lovely food and friendly staff and atmosphere

I have passed this place a few times and thankfully I had the fortune of dining here today. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and the al fresco dining was a delight in the sun, and even had a nice ambience and environment with the plants and flowers separating us from the busy Brighton Toad. It was clean and tables far enough apart to always feel covid safe and non intrusive It was cheap and prices reasonable therefore good value for money, the mediterranean fry up (a creative menu choice) was good quality with toast added. I also specifically requested poached eggs to be harder boiled and they achieved this with a minimum of fuss. Really nice place and they gave us free chocolate when we left! Cannot wait to return :)

After staying at a top hotel and being so disappointed with breakfast it was so good to have a decent breakfast , with friendly staff at a very reasonable price Poached eggs cooked to perfection , my only disappointment was I did not notice they served bubble until I was nearly finished Properly set for the day now. We always go here for a large Sunday breakfast with a hangover the food is good and the staff are friendly

Went in there a while back with my mrs and 2 young children.. ordered our food and drinks. An hour had passed an we were wondering why people who were coming in after us were getting their food before us? They took the order but didnt cook our food. Left their all 4 of us very very distressed.. appalling treatment!!!

Cafe is actually quite good but there is always rubbish at the back if you need to burn one. At the moment there is a used bed mattress if anyone interested.

Shame really turned up here the other day three of us had some nice food big size portions on big plates very clean friendly staff until they decided to have a real either a customer and spent the best part of half an hour shouting the screaming at each other in front of full View of all customers shame really it's handy place Street down the road has got lots of parking on as I said very good size portions and friendliest staff if they weren't rowing about customers she did come over and explain to us that there she was rowing about customers but no one wants to hear staff kicking off food was good

I go here for breakfast or brunch- full English, poached eggs etc. Also do stuff for lunch with sandwiches, burgers, though not tried these. Cater nicely for kids too. There is a small terrace with flowers but by side of road, so tend to sit in. Coffees are good too. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere! Solid food.
