I've had the pleasure of visiting Caps & Taps on a number of occasions while I was still living in London and when I would visit friends in the area. They stock a vast array of beer as well as wine and spirits from smaller producers. The owners Steph and Phill have been very nice and helpful in assisting me when I've popped in, giving me their honest, knowledgeable opinions about the beers in the fridges. It's definitely a place to keep in your mental map to pay a visit to, perhaps after getting takeaway from one of the nearby restaurants.

Great selection of beers with great knowledgeable staff. Also interesting wine options and alcohol / gluten free beers too!

Unfortunately there was a note on the door saying “back in 2 mins” Waited longer than that being studiously ignored by the lady filling the fridges and checking her phone. Got bored and left. Pity as I’ve heard good reports

Visited as part of a day wandering around London and after a matinee show in the area. Had a Groupon voucher for set meal costing £35. Several of dishes not available from what was already a small choice menu. Appears long-standing issue of "no chips" was again a problem. By the time you add on a £30 bottle of house wine, supplement on the steak and then service charge you done get much change out of £100. Marked as average only and certainly not somewhere I would return. Nice air con restaurant with music which we liked but fairly empty and soulless.

It's new name is Chicken hub. At the same address and at the same place next to Old Dutch pancake is Chicken Hub not Chicken cottage. On google, you can see exact pictures with hundreds of reviews. It was surprisingly good. Only place in London where i went again as experience was good. Grilledchicken with rice was very good and i will recommend. Service was great as well. Second time i found few burnt rice in it. Probably they have to work on the quality.

Salty, too salty. All I can say is that it is edible but not delicious at all, and the portions are not large. The food is not expensive, but the drinks are expensive, and the service is average. The service charge is 12.5%. Where are you serving? The average per capita is around 25.

Turquoise had just opened. They've done a fabulous job in redecorating the old Cafe Rouge. Brightly coloured, it's warm and welcoming and the food is very good. I've only eaten there once with a friend, but we both really enjoyed our lunches. I had garlic prawns; she had lamb chops and both were delicious. In the centre of Highgate Village, it's a lovely place to pop in for coffee, which I have also done.
