We found Carlos during Covid - and the warm welcome - the amazing coffee and most importantly the incredible people mean we go back time after time. Alex, Ross and Natalie are great. They even look after our dogs so well and have always made us so welcome. The homemade pannini and the Arrancini balls are to die for and the general fresh Italian produce is a must if you’re cooking at home .. they also can recommend an excellent wine from the extensive offering. We love this place and it’s become a go too and will remain that way. Best coffee and welcome in the area.

Always a delight visiting Carlo deli. Today I picked up my absolute favourite Italian dish melanzana parmigiana, very hard to find! And some delicious (and so pretty) swirly biscotti da latte. Wonderful. 🇮🇹 💗

Possibly the best Italian deli I have ever been too. The staff are friendly and the store has a great selection of products. I can recommend the cold meats, panini and cheese

I've been a customer of Carlo and his lovely wife for almost twenty years. Now retired, their sons continue to run the Italian delicatessen which has occupied the corner location in Chertsey's high street. The food and choice is always exceptional and the friendly and professional way the boys treat all the customers would make their ma & pa proud. I no longer reside in the area but always make a point of visiting for either their freshly made sandwiches, rolls or huge selection of Italian produce. Always worth a look in!

Probably the best Panini’s in the South East, great service from a lovely family run business whom also strive to deliver the best Italian food at very reasonable prices. Well worth the visit!!

I haven't been to Carlos for years because I moved away from the area. I remember buying a cake from here years ago and it was delicious. I called them Monday and asked if it was possible to get a cake again. Although he didn't sell the cake any more he went out of his way to order one for me the very next day from his supplier. It tasted just as Good as I remembered and so nice to see the Deli thriving with plenty of orders coming through while I was there. It is well worth a visit. A big thank you for helping me out and when I'm back in there area I'll be in for a Panini and one of your delicious coffees

I work in chertsey and Carlo’s is my favourite place to get coffee and lunch. This a a family run deli and they are very friendly. They have very good choice of wine and cheese. I go there everyday for coffee . Sometimes for lunch. If you visit chertsey, just try this cafe. You’re not regret !!

Great coffee and freshly made paninis. Just about everything you would need to produce good Italian food inc fresh garlic etc

Hands down the best coffee in Chertsey. We stop by for a perfectly made espresso anytime we're near by. Have been recommended some great Italian wine here too. A great Deli.

Lovely food, very much enjoyed my lunch. Deli is full of delish items, 8 had to leave before spending far too much money...would recommend and def visit again.

Always a pleasure to call-in for specific Italian ingredients, a treat, wine or brandy. All of the fruit and vegetables on display are of the best quality and the family who run the shop are incredibly friendly.

We shared 2x panini, one with pork and bbq sauce, the other with chorizo and manchego. Delicious as always.

Ok deli in Chertsey town centre, good selection of products although I feel that some are more expensive than they ‘need’ or deserve to be but worth a visit....

today I picked up ciabatta rolls for lunch but always stock up on olives and italian ham and cheeses. Love this place, really well done guys....this place is great

We visited Carlo Deli on the off chance whilst staying at the Chertsey camping and caravanning club whilst looking for a sandwich shop for lunch. We found much more! Staff were friendly and helpful (despite our broad northern accents) and the shop was filled with the best meats, cheeses and other Italian delicacies. My wife and I had the Italian sausage panini and I treat myself to a Ragu arancini on the advice of one of the customers which was absolutely amazing in flavour and something I had not tried before but surely will again. I only wish we’d found this place at the start of our holiday rather than the end. Well worth a visit!

This is a great place to go if you want to pick up something to eat on the hoof, tables/chairs are outside as it's a deli but they sell just about everything, and the staff are friendly.

A pleasant find, a well stocked Deli which is fabulous and great bread and a coffee while your there is the real deal. In fact fill your boots with everything as nothing fails to be good.

Gran lugar para navegar y encontrar algunas joyas, incluyendo una variedad de quesos interesante pecorino y vinos a precios mejor que encontrará en los minoristas más conocidos. Acaba de abrir un fabuloso Chianti desde aquí que me animó a poner los dedos a la pantalla y recomiendo este gran outlet que es tan bueno como cualquier encontrará en Londres.

Acabo de instalar un horno de leña y estaba buscando una tienda italiana para comprar ingredientes para hacer pizza por primera vez. Encontré en google. Carlo Me fui el 15 millas y encontramos un equipo muy servicial que trabaja aquí. Compré la harina, jamones, salame, etc. Todos los productos italianos auténticos y funcionaba de maravilla. Yo volveré pronto

Family run authentic Italian delicatessen which sells everything from store cupboard essentials to the most amazing homemade arancini. I visit every week and you can guarantee I come out with more than what I went in for! The variety of cheese and charcuterie is second to none. Their selection of red wines include some of the best that I had tasted in Tuscany, In fact I have never seen them outside of Italy. I highly recommend a visit to this lovely little deli.

What a brilliant shop this is. Family run. So friendly and full of fine foods. Small stock of high quality seasonal veg. Love the Sicilian blood oranges when they are in. Great Parma ham,cheeses and other treats. This sort of shop gives chertsey it's character.

Go here on a regular basis, often make the 60 mile round trip just to have the best coffee available. Great food, great family and a real authentic Italian feel.

I simply love Carlo delicatessen and I go there regularly. They offer a wide range of authentic Italian food and wines, great sandwiches, very good espresso, and an excellent service.

If you want a coffee, and you are in Chertsey, go to Carlo! They serve Illy and it tastes fantastic. I pop in whenever I want a hot drink or fancy some European treats. They even serve fresh Arancini if you visit on the right day. I also recommend the fruit and vegetables as they are much fresher than the supermarket and taste so much better!My absolute favourite thing about the place are the staff. Every one is always so lovely and happy to see you and that really makes a difference to me.Pros: Service, coffee, fresh food, imported goods and atmosphere.Cons: Only 2 tables outside and none inside.

I work in an office in chertsey, and this is the best place to grab lunch. Panini, Arancini, Ciabatta etc are all on the menu for a great price. My favourite is the pizza panini!

We went in to get sandwiches for a picnic lunch. I chose a made to order parma ham and mozzarella ciabatta (with request for olive oil on bread instead of butter) was delicious. Hubby had their home made sausage roll and said it was really good. Couple of arancini too. We had wanted to sit outside but with only 2 tables and sadly smoking on the other one we decided not to stay and eat. Hopefully we can next time as their coffee looked great. There isnt a lot of space inside to have an in door cafe but hopefully they can find space for a couple of tables in the colder months - we would be there like a shot. Having recently moved to Chertsey, it has been great to find an authentic Italian deli as it is not the easiest thing in the world to find really good food in chertsey.
