Extremely disappointed with the decision to charge guests the £10.50 for garden entry even if they only want to visit the cafe. A rethink of the placement of the ticket office is very necessary.

Disapionted that dietery requirements are not caterered for e.g gluten free . (Bread or even a salad ) As they have a good selection at both sleadmere and burton constable cafes do 🙁

Delightful cafe in the courtyard buildings, with the benefit also of ample outside tables. Efficient, pleasant and helpful staff. We had burgers from the daily menu and they were delicious. Very reasonably prices across the whole food and drink offering. Burgers £7.50, large slices of pizza £4.00. Proper pot of tea - no plastic cups/cutlery or cardboard plates here. Top notch place.

Dreadful. Shabby cafe, food in cardboard. No comparison with its equivalent at Burton Constable. Something should be done to raise the standard to the level of the hall and gardens, which are excellent.

Cyclists can get to the cafe without paying entry! We had great lunch of soup and cake!

You really need to organise the pizza orders better and not have a 15 min wait to place your order and 45 mins for it to be cooked. How about selling from the pizza oven by the slice. That way you can cook a set number of pies and replenish as you sell. Maybe as well you dont wait until you get the order before you stretch the base.

Not a spot where you can just nip in for tea and cake. Despite the cafe being right at the entrance to the gardens, because of where they decided to put the entry shed, you cant go to the cafe without paying to go into the gardens - £8 per adult. Given that their shed could easily have moved further back to allow use of the cade and shop for free it seems misleading for the cafe to be listed as separate from the hall and gardens - it isnt

Good coffee if small and very little food or cake selection. Nice surroundings but garden entry price stupid for this time of year - mid September.

Really pleasant little café. Reasonable prices. All kept clean and tidy however staff weren't very welcoming and that made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Lovely outdoor seating with obviously great views. The food looked great and well presented. Easy access and I was grateful for the cold drink, many places don't have a decent refrigerator but this was a fab surprise after walking around the gardens. It's the little things haha.

Food wasn't bad but wasn't good, just tasted like an average chippy, girl behind the counter needs customer service training at least, was like she didn't want to be there, if that's the case then leave... went to shut the door when it was -3, was told the door had to stay open or customers wouldn't know they was open, well I suggest a sign normal or flashing to say open, when you are, turn the lights of the sign on.... then asked for a large gravy, told rudely we only do one size... won't be using this chippy again when I return back to Pocklington....

Visited with our walking club on Monday. Excellent coffee, bacon sandwich, and scone. Staff are really cheerful and can not do enough for you. We will certainly be returning.

if I could post a photo of my bacon and sausage sandwich that I got this morning it would be the most disgusting photo you have seen, I went to take it back and the staff was really rude and wouldn’t help. the sausages looked like over cooked shriveled up skin. The bacon look like a slice of black burnt fat. honestly thought cooplands was better then this but I’m very disappointed
