Great place for lunch. Situated just behind the pub and with plenty of parking. Food was delicious and service excellent. Great value for money. Would definitely visit again.

First visit here. Made to feel very welcome. Superb panini and jacket potatoes and delicious home made cakes. Plenty of seating choice, indoor, outdoor, sun or shade. Great children’s play area - we shall return with our granddaughter.

Carries kitchen is tucked away behind The Wheatsheaf pub in Hatfield Peverel. Its lovely and clean, nicely presented, with a fenced in garden area with seating and play equipment for children. I had an all day breakfast which was fantastic!! I love having the beans in a ramakin, nice touch. Freshly cooked food and plenty big enough portion. The staff are friendly and happy which is always good to see. My server Frankie couldnt have been more helpful and polite, a lovely lady. Will visit more often now, looking forward to trying the lunch menu next!!

I would definitely recommend you paying Carrie's kitchen a visit the staff are very helpful the food is amazing definitely worth a visit if you are a brownie or blondie fan, they also offer Crepes and Waffles and also offer a Good Full English Breakfast too and also serve Good Light Lunches too. Also cater for allergies aswell. Also offer afternoon teas as as takeaway service or a sit in service.

Have visited for lunch or afternoon snacks a few times this late summer, always warmly greeted/remembered and nothing a problem. Great choice of coffee and if sandwiches and the fab cakes aren’t enough I understand the neighbouring pub menu is available. Love that we can have a relaxing sit down whilst our little one safely plays on the swings etc. Surprised they’re aren’t more reviews....

I booked a takeaway afternoon tea for three as a birthday present during lockdown. It was absolutely lovely. Beautifully presented finger sandwiches, scones and cakes. Great baking. We all loved it. Thanks Carrie
