Casa Peri Peri in Wakefield

Loved the place. Nice food. Staff there was very nice. We came late with a group of friends, they entertained us warmly.

It had been very short visit due collecting my food parcel the staff were warm welcomed and friendly the food was delicious, freshly grilled with hint of spicy loved ,strongly recommend deffo go back 5***** guys thank you

Visited the other day for lunch with friends. Ordered through the QR code on the table. Had to ask for a glass and green tea which I ordered with the food. Food came and there was a black hair in the coleslaw, asked for a fresh one. In which they did make another. Didn’t like how we had eaten our food before our drinks even came. Also have to remind the staff that my friend had ordered a garlic bread with cheese too. Not good service

The chips are way too over cooked and the place isn’t as clean, the cutlery is greasy. Honestly it was not worth the price. I did not enjoy the food unfortunately

Nice food and a nice environment too. Has gone slightly downhill with the quality of the chickens too fatty and not clean.

Had another really nice takeaway from here. Food is always lovely and tastes fresh. Its not greasy. However the only critique I have is the nachos don't have cheese. I mean who wants nachos without cheese? They are £7.95 and it's a further £3.95 to add cheese now i thought this was extra cheese so didn't add it but no that's just cheese in general. I just don't get that as you can buy a full block of cheese for £3.00. I added some of my own from the fridge and finished the dish so wasn't the end of the world but just some food for thought. I'd also layer the nachos a bit as well as the topping was nice (needed cheese) but it was all on top so the bottom ones were dry.

The best food I’ve ever had as a takeaway delivery by far, highly recommend giving it a try, I’ll definitely be ordering again. The halloumi pittas and avocado salad are amazing and my children have had peri peri chicken wraps and said the same.

This is my second order here in the last couple of months. The first order had missing items and a wrong item delivered. This second order was missing two of the sides, mash and fries. I’m afraid I won’t be ordering a third time. Delivery was very quick however I would have been happy to wait a little longer if it ensured the order was double checked and correct. For the price the portion sizes are small and I am sure that the chicken had the wrong sauce on as it was very spicy. 0/10 ☹️

Wow, amazing. I was literally at Nando’s 2 days ago and this food doesn’t even compare to it, the grilled chicken is literally mouth watering, the sides are gorgeous and I was literally speechless and I don’t know how I haven’t heard of this place before but will definitely be a go to takeaway from now on. We also got a free drink so I picked a coke and received a call from the restaurant saying they actually haven’t got any left and what I’d like instead. Amazing customer service. Perfect!

We order often and the food is always spot on but the food was cold this time which made the garlic bread chewy. Didnt enjoy as much as normal sadly!

We've had a pretty sad day with the loss of our beloved rabbit and I wanted to cheer up the family with a nandos. the Mrs suggested this place and wow I was blown away it was 20x better than nandos and I highly, highly recommend . absolutely superb. Only negative is it was Luke warm but a blast in the microwave fixed that.

Amazing food as always :) however if even the mild sauce could be mild as in plainer my household love peri peri but my son who’s a massive grilled chicken fan found the mango and lime still too spicy a plain option would be amazing :)

We went to casa piri piri for a friend's birthday this weekend. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. The service was really good too - totally recommend.

Ordered butterfly chicken burger with halloumi. Halloumi was undercooked and full of water so my burger and plate were drenched when it arrived. After taking the halloumi off my burger there was too much sauce on it so every bite you took, the contents of the burger obviously didn't stay inside it. But on the other hand im glad there was loads of sauce because the chicken was dry. The staff were sound but its a shame you have to pay before you eat otherwise i wouldn't have paid. Overall i wouldn't go back theres better places in wakefield.

not as good as I thought would be. chicken wings still has blood, chips cold, cheese garlic bread all stuck together onion rings ok, delivery driver please at least smile. best part of meal was the corn on cob, was still warm 2hrs later. . overall disappointing was really looking forward to a delicious meal for the price

We had lunch and found it good. I had loaded nachos and they were very good, lots of sauce and guacamole.

Wonderful place to eat, great quality of food lovely ambiance and meat just slides of the bone. It has a good variety on the menu not totally overbearing but enough to suit most people’s needs and it’s halal.

Food tastes good, I am a number one fan it's my fav restaurant but the portion sizes have changed alot and not for the better.

Ordered chicken wings, was pink on inside. Asked staff, was told that it was marinade and it couldn't be raw. Would have been fine but it was pink at the bone and white at the skin. I might have been wrong but I didn't eat them either way. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food tho and mozzarella sticks were tasty. (full warning this was a while ago)

Well well we have a nandos competitor and id say it's quite equal in portion size and flavours. Yes same types of flavours , same small portions, but enough to get you thru lunch till tea time. Chips are just disgusting frozen types so don't order them . If they had skin on fries it would compliment the rest of the food nicely. Rice bowls are quite small though Halloumi is rubbery and squeaky in the mouth. And not much flavour had been imparted into it. But the flavours are definitely there in the whole meal and I would try this place again .

We laughingly call this Fake Nando's... But actually prefer it we really like the food here usually go on date night.

Ordered from “too good to go” app. Paid 5£ for something apparently worth 13.99£. Got half a small container of rice. And literally one very small chicken leg. Joke. If you can’t full fill the requirements to sell these discounted bags just don’t do it. Pointless selling that. You could not even justifying paying 5£ for it. Never mind 13.99 which was claimed.

The first time I tried the food from Casa Casa was in the restaurant at Wakefield Trinity Walk. The service was great and the food was amazing! It was so yummy nice....that on two occasions since (while the football is on) I've ordered a home delivery! I've LITERALLY just finished my Sunday tea! Beautiful! I recommend the Beef Short Rib. Stunning fall-off-the-bone....so, so, yummy!!!! 😋

the food is from a packet could taste it was uncle bens rice straight away I mean come on people go out to eat for fresh food not for something you can just make at home portion sizes are a joke for the amount of money they charge won't be coming back absolute rip off for what you can just make at home for cheaper the chicken tasted under cooked the gun powder fries where way over cooked and rock hard don't waste your money go elsewhere

Placed an order for 19 meals today. Everything was packed and ready for collection at the time agreed. They even put names on all of the orders so it was easy for us to distribute at the event. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. They even filled up the sauces for us! Thank you!! We will be back. Everyone loved the food. It was still hot after a 25 minute drive to the venue. Burger was ace as usual, the gunpowder fries were lukewarm warm on delivery, they were in a bag and not a cardboard container as usual. The cheesy chips were incredibly disappointing, Luke warm, and I have seen more cheese on a slipper, v disappointing

This place really did impress, service is polite and friendly, food is made promptly, it's lovely inside. The food is cooked very well and taste of 9 out of 10 easily. Had the mixed platter type meal the short rib was on point there is no need to comment on the chicken when your cooking the short ribs this well. The cooks are good and clearly pay attention to how your food looks as well. My only only point of dislike would be the herby taste on the corn on the cob. Next time I will ask for it to be salted and buttered only. Do try it as they make it its not bad I just prefer it like that. The staff were all helpful and looked like they enjoyed it. Kids under a certain age eat for free and the options are not just cheap junk for them. 1 free child with each paying adult. Definitely going again and soon. 1 cheeky side not they give you sauces garlic and lime and a medium hot peri peri please do a hot one for the tables too. The food itself comes in variety of sauce choices ranging from low to fiery hot.

I have had this takeout about 5 times now - the first 2 were absolutely sublime, beef was plentiful and juicy and tender, for me the quality has gone down every order, tonight was disappointing, not a lot of beef and it felt like I got the end cuts that were a bit dry and tough. It was the first time I had order the chicken thighs - they tasted great and were very tender but were incredible small - not sure I got value for money tonight!

Chicken amazing, sweetcorn brilliant. Avocado salad a bit “sad” but that’s me being picky. First order, 100% order again. So much better than that Portuguese place beginning with “N”.

I'm rating it low stars due to the portion. I ordered on uber and everything was so small and definitely not worth the price. However, the taste of the peri peri chicken was good but I'd say not worth the value

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Staff are rude when you ring to tell them they have forgotten your order. Won’t re send food or give you refund. Staff called me a rude cow and manager didn’t care. Food cold and chicken bland. Will never order from here again which is a shame as we have ordered a couple times before. Appalling.

This place looked amazing from the outside. The menu is very similar to nandos which we love. I ordered the butterfly chicken garlic bread and chips. My partner ordered a burger and chips. The chips were amazing. The rest tasted a little burnt. The garlic bread was very black in places and tasted only of burnt bread. My partner asked for sauce with her meal. Ten mins later my partner said excuse me can we please have the sauce. The same waiter said he was serving another customer. He rolled his eyes and pulled a face. She replied with sorry we thought you had forgetton. Not the best service. I don't think we will be returning.
