Best pub in Henham by far! Great selection of beers and about 50 Whiskies from around the world. Highly recommend! Great tunes in the jukebox, great dartboard and the list goes on.

Lovely little bar in sleepy Henham. Fantastic atmosphere with great service. The landlord keeps us entertained with his jokes and anecdotes. Extensive selection of beer, ale, whisky and other spirits. Would recommend to anyone

We had an amazing New Year’s Eve at The Bell Inn in Horndon! From the moment we arrived, the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this traditional country pub set the tone for a fantastic evening. With its crackling open fires, charming historic feel, and friendly staff, it was the perfect place to celebrate. The food was absolutely delicious, with a well-thought-out menu showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert cooking. The service was attentive and friendly, making the night even more special. The entertainment was brilliant, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere – the perfect balance for a New Year’s celebration. But The Bell Inn isn’t just great for special occasions – their legendary Sunday lunches and themed events are hugely popular too, and for good reason! Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a big celebration, this place always delivers on great food, great service, and a truly authentic pub experience. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

20 St. John's WayWe look after the owners dog here at Essex Vets. The owners provided us with pie and mash as a treat .. it was STUNNING .. we shared throughout the building and now everyone is planning to take a trip from South Woodham Ferrers to Corringham .. it's going to be worth it!
