Food nice, reasonably priced only complaint was I ordered the normal chicken burger and was given and charged for an ultimate.

Made an online booking for my birthday. In the special requests section I asked as a joke for balloons, cake and for them to sing happy birthday birthday to me. On arrival I was met by Tamara and her team who had gone above and beyond with my request. Balloons, cupcake and candles, banners, personalised card and they also sang. I am 48 😂 It made both of our days. The food and service was excellent. Thank you for making my birthday what it was. X

Once food was ordered it only took 10/15 mins to arrive - really hot and really fresh. Had a 10 min break before puddings - but again once ordered came quickly and were very good. Customer service was really good - really attentive and very friendly . Overall fantastic visit

Waiting over an hour for dinner the restaurant was nearly empty when we walked in, we ended up walking out.

Friendly staff. The vegi chilli was very nice. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I would highly recommend paying them a visit.

The food is great I love the starters can never choose! My partner usually has the tikka masala as he loves it and my kids change their minds but one usually goes with the little Rita which he devours quickly lol the service is great and the staff are lovely and friendly

Enjoyable visit, nice staff and good food

Food was quite good and came out really quick! Particularly liked the layout of the Hunters Chicken in bowl with Salad was much easier to eat. The service was incredible, we had a lovely lady called Tamara who was extremely kind and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

This evening I came for a meal without booking a table and was seated at a booth with a nice view of the restaurant. Our food did take a little while to arrive but it was rather busy, however tasted very nice and was hot on arrival. we proceeded to order desserts which tasted delicious. the staff were friendly and polite. Overall we had a good experience and would come again.

I came this evening with my family. We didn’t wait too long for food considering it was quite busy. Food was good quality, tasted good and was hot on arriving. Only waited 5 minutes for desserts as well. Staff were attentive, very helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend

I will be recommending to friends and family. The service is amazing, friendly staff, dog friendly (with a doggy menu too), amazing deals and thorough when dealing with allergies. As I am allergic to tomatoes they went and checked product labels for me. Can't wait to return.

Came here on Sunday, food was absolutely amazing, staff were lovely and the atmosphere was really welcoming. Food came out really fast and food was perfect eating temperature. The few girls working were really nice and did an amazing job.

Absolutely disgraceful, none of the staff wearing uniform couldn’t determine who was actually management and who I needed to speak to about the problems during my visit. Wearing Nike jumpers, trainers and leggings is not professional, as it seems it is run by children, not a single person looked over 21 I assume to keep your wage budget down. Ordered a veggie pizza with extra chicken that arrived and looked like it had been hacked at with a chainsaw and not a pizza cutter, why are you serving your pizzas pre cut and not with the pizza cutter so the customer can decide how their pizza is sliced, like the restaurant has done for the past 7 years? Sent the pizza back it came back the 2nd time with no chicken and half the size…still pre cut. My partners bread bun on the burger was not remotely toasted but stale and was served with precisely 15 very anaemic chips, for a £13.59 burger and no dip pot of burger sauce is criminal, even better my 2 years olds waffles completely soaked in I assume dirty oil seen as they were practically dark brown. Just to top it off it took 3 members off staff to finally get a refund for my chicken that I didn’t receive, fair enough I was refunded for the whole pizza which was appreciated but a single “sorry” with no offer of a receipt to show my refund or even a heads up that it’ll be back with me in a few days, luckily I knew this already maybe an offer of dessert to the table or a drink might’ve improved my mood and would’ve stayed for dessert but wanted to immediately leave after the absolute shambles of a meal that was served. Haven’t been in over 2 years and was persuaded to try it again but never ever again! You may think I am being picky or know a bit about wage budget…yes I do, I was a staff member here for nearly 5 years, 1 and half of those a member of management leaving in 2022 so yes compared to what it was like previously I am incredibly disappointed. Pictures below show the 1st pizza then the 2nd 15 anaemic chips and fake tan waffles.

Fast service didn’t wait long for food

Has a brilliant meal with a friend on New Years Day. Both Tamara and Megan I believe were very helpful. Great value for money, massive portions and great recommendation for dessert. Definitely be back

01/01/25 Came here for an evening meal as a family of 4, staying at a nearby holiday park and the restaurant on site was closed. Nice and quiet, we ordered cheeseburger, chicken burger, Mac & cheese with peri peri chicken, lasagne and garlic bread, all came with chips& salad, BBQ pulled pork loaded fries Dessert we had salted caramel cookie brownie & a rocky road sundae All food was amazing, came out within 10 mins and all was hot 🙂 Service was excellent, we were seated straight away and the girls at the bar were very polite and helpful.

Where do i start, it took 3 hours to get xmas dinner over and done with. Half the food was missing that was prebooked. Staff had no idea what was going on. It was an absolute shambles. Completely ruined xmas dinner and my children's xmas afternoon.

Just had a lovely boxing day meal at chain bridge, lovely welcome at the door, festive table decor, food was delicious, although our eyes were bigger than our bellies and we ordered way too much food. But an all round lovely meal, certainly recommend and will be booking for next year!

Our plans changed so we arrived early for our booking which wasn't a problem. Food was hot and plenty of it and came out fairly quickly. A busy bar but nothing was too much trouble even when my youngest needed some minor adjustments to her meals due to her dislike of certain foods.

We asked for extra 2 sides of onion rings thinking we would receive 16 onion rings as on the menu they come in 8 to a portion however when we received the food we actually only got 6 and got told they only come in 3 to a portion. After questioning staff and showing the menu says 8 to a portion we got told no that is wrong and you get 3 not 8. We are not happy at all getting charged £3 for 6 onion meaning they are £1 each is absolutely ridiculous. We carried on eating the food thinking someone would come to us and ask how the meal was and we just got ignored every time we tired to get someone to come talk to us. Considering we spent £150 you would have thought the staff would be more helping towards their customers. We will not be going back any time soon.

We had our work Christmas meal, there was a party of 14, one with special dietary requirements. All the food was lovely, presented very well and cleared signed with an allergen stick. The atmosphere was great, the staff were very friendly. We had a very enjoyable evening. Also came in 2 weeks ago and had a new staff member called Viki who was exceptional, especially as it was her first night :)

Went for a meal with my family, there was 5 of us. Server just said sit anywhere, didn't get shown to table. Sat for about 20 minutes deciding on what to eat, nobody came up and asked if we were okay. After not even 2 seconds of having our food, 2 different workers came up to us asking how it was (hadn't even taken a full bite) Could see staff sat at another table, just talking amongst there selves, disabled toilet doesn't flush, tables sticky, pepsi was watery and flat. Servers also had phones in pockets and some were even texting !!! Overall not a good experience will not be coming again.

Arrived here after debacle at Brewers Fayre Boston. Food was really nice and although we had to wait an hour for it we were told at the outset. Would have been 5 stars otherwise

Wasn’t told when I booked the table it would be an hour n a half wait for food. We ordered starters snd came after 10 minutes. I then waited for over an hour before we complained to the manager as plates hadn’t been collected and no main/cutlery given so was given complementary drinks/ dessert. Mains finally arrived and steak was cooked to well done when requested for medium rare. Only given two knives n forks when there was 4 of us at the table. Felt the experience wasn’t at all up the par considering the pub wasn’t busy at all.

We went for our works Xmas meal there was 18 of us so maybe we was a bit loud. They seamed a little under staffed to cope with a big party and the other customers to deal with at the same time. But saying that they certainly did there best so hats off to them . The only niggle I have is the same as a few others had was the steak, I like mine rare and it was more like Well done and people that wanted Well done was nearly charcoal.

Six of us had Christmas lunch on 11 December 24. It was diabolical. Flavourless, luke warm and overcooked veg. The table was set for Christmas Lunch but no forks or spoons on the table No condiments. The knives were so blunt they would not cut my turkey.

Good food, polite friendly staff ( Dan & Eve). Pub wasn't very busy when we were there. Only negative was the coke/ lemonade pump wasn't working so a limited choice of soft drinks

Had a lovely meal today , a nice curry with poppadoms and Naan bread , and a scrumpy mango chunky too, the staff were very helpful and polite. Will be coming again

Had a lovely mixed grill, staff were helpful and kind. Very festive in there at the moment too. Lots of choice on the menue and a nice variety of drinks. Lovely cozy pub-restaurant, and dog friendly too (with a dog menu)

Visited with my daughter, had a lovely meal, staff lovely, the atmosphere was a little lacking, but it was a Monday night so being quiet was to be expected.

Eve and Sydney were very accomodating, and were extremely warm and good to us on an old mates reunion top bar.

We went for a Sunday lunch, the food was flavoursome, tasty, well presented. The staff welcomed us with a smile and made us feel very welcome, they also helped make the toilet more accessible as I was on crutches. Atmosphere was happy and relaxed. Will definitely be going again.

We came here a few times and said never again but due to time we came tonight to risk it. What a change Jake and Kamela are fantastic our food arrived COOKED and HOT so much better than our last visits. We will come again .

Service was good, very friendly staff in the reasturant, food was cooked nice but some items on the roast dinner were barely warm. The Yorkshire puddings were inedible very tough unfortunately we had to leave them.

There were 5 in my party. We ordered our food and it took over an hour to come out. My dish was lovely, but the other dishes didn't look worth the money. I am not saying they didn't taste nice, but my grandson and his partner both had steaks but they were not offered steak knives. We even had to fetch our own cutlery. One minute they seemed to be not serving and then they seemed to serve 6 tables at once.The only thing that really made it good is I used my blue light card and that saved us money. I think there was a full bag of fries on my son-in-law's plate although he was expecting chips.

The Chainbridge has some amazing food for the price as well as staff are so friendly and helpful with any questions about the food and drink I would recommend going with friends and family

In today for lunch as we were passing. Served by Jake, made welcome, polite & nothing was too much trouble. Food was hot, tasty & both plates cleared. 100% satisfied

Excellent food at the Chain Bridge which I wasn't expecting as it's a chain pub, meals were well cooked, we'll presented and most importantly for me actually hot when they were brought to the table! Service was good, Sydney was very pleasant. Was very quiet when we visited so not much atmosphere to speak of (hence only 3 stars) would defo visit again just for the food - well done chef & team!

Took my brother out for his birthday meal and we both enjoyed it here. The service was very nice, food tasted great and it was nice and quiet for a Wednesday lunch time. Thank u Sydney, Shawn and xxander for a lovely experience.

Well......what a huge improvement in one month. We were properly welcomed upon entry and shown to our table by Eve. We were made to feel welcome and valued. Our food arrived and looked well looked after in the kitchen. Great service and food. Thanks to Eve.

Walked in and someone came straight over to us and took us to a table, gave us menu's and left us to browse the menu, very friendly staff, food was excellent they made sure to check everything was alright. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to all the staff there especially Eve who was very attentive and Eboney was really nice.

Booked for 7, arrived early, ordered and told 15 minutes delay. Eventually served at 8.10. the counter staff were excellent, apologetic etc. there were people allowing kids to race round the restaurant. The meals that arrived bore no relationship to menu , the garlic bread was burned . Cold, tiny portion, just awful. I was refunded, but that's just not good enough. This seems to be a recurring thing, the people at an adjacent table left their meal uneaten and walked out.

We love this place travelled 12 miles Ordered a mixed grill and prawn salad which is my favourite. We waited one hour for food and the place is not overly busy so why 1 hour When the food arrived the prawns on the salad were frozen so obviously very upset and angry after waiting for so long. Why is the head chef even letting frozen prawns out of the kitchen. My grandson recommended this place to me but definitely having second thoughts now. Going down the pan springs to mind

Booked online to celebrate a family birthday. Rang on the day to check arrangements and the staff were very accommodating of helium balloons and birthday cake. Arrived to a busy pub environment but table was ready for us as promised. Staff were busy but friendly and we had a very sociable evening with great food, reasonably priced drinks and wonderful staff. Thank you for helping to make our celebration memorable.

Went for a late family meal and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. The service was truly top-tier as everyone really took care of us but a special mention has to be given to Lucy for her patience and always checking up on us with a smile.

We had a great time at Chain Bridge yesterday and was really impressed with the food and service! The food really exceeded our expectations and was very tasty and presented beautifully. Service was great and the waitress was very friendly and the bartender polite too. They had good knowledge of the menu and were able to speak about the dishes in detail. We loved that there was a menu for dogs (which our dog enjoyed too!) and to say this is a chain, it felt more like a local, friendly town pub. We will definitely visit again, thank you!

It was a lovely night! We had a steak ,sweet fries,fried 🍄‍🟫 and it was all delicious.. just wanted to appreciate “Emma “ for her kindness and hospitality.. she sorted our order and even give us a complimentary dessert because the food that we ordered was not available.. she is very lovely ! 👍👍👍

Came for a datenight with my partner, I had a steak with the sweet potato fries upgrade, my partner had the ultimate chicken burger. Both were absolutely amazing. Food came out faster than expected too. Staff were really friendly, and the dessert was also really nice. We sat on table 28, which was a booth seat, it felt really cozy and was all round a really nice experience. Looking forwards to returning

When ordering drinks was not asked what size. Food took 45 minutes to arrive. Portion size were children’s size No onion rings when stated there would be Nobody came over to ask if everything was ok or I would have said Very expensive for what you got

My wife and I called in here for lunch one surprisingly quiet Friday lunch time, there were only about 4 tables occupied. After ordering our drinks, we ordered our food: one prawn cocktail starter and two main courses (burger and scampi). After about 20 minutes the starter still had not arrived, the barmaid/waitress, who had been busily cleaning tables, was called and the starter subsequently appeared. We were then abandoned with no communication from staff whatsoever. After another 20/25 minutes, I asked where our main courses were. They were just being ‘dished up’ the waitress said. After another long wait, they eventually appeared. I asked the waiter why we had to wait so long, he said he would find out and came back telling us that there was a ‘staff/personnel issue’ in the kitchen. Clearly this overrode the customers who had been patiently waiting for their food. He did offer us a free drink or pudding as compensation, but this did not compensate us for what was effectively a spoiled experience. We did not expect to be there for over an hour for just 2 courses in a virtually empty pub (we had planned to have pudding and coffee, but were completely fed up after finishing our main courses!). The food when it did arrive was extremely nice. Very poor service and lack of effective management ruined totally ruined our visit and we are very unlikely to return.

We reserved a table and were seated in a very loud environment and right next to a pool table which was not ideal. We then ordered food. The sharer came out about an hour before our actual meal. We got the loaded fries for a sharer and had about a tea spoon amount of pulled pork on it. We have waited for so long for our main meals. By the time we were given our mains it was nearly time to go home for breakfast. Our cutlery wasn’t delivered to us until after they had delivered our food. None of the staff communicated with us, making us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. This pub has always had bad reviews and for as long as it is the way it is, it always will have bad reviews. Sort it out.

Ordered two burgers, one undercooked (raw in middle) one overcooked. They offer to replace the raw one (wasn't to worried about over cooked), they take it away come back couple of minutes later asking if we want the meal replaced or burger, go away again saying it'll be 5-10 mins. 10 mins later they ask what burger did you have again. But of a breakdown in Comms in the kitchen, we told the service staff who obviously relayed the info to the kitchen who just forget it. Can't be made at the service staff just kitchen appears to be severely lacking

Recently dined here and was thoroughly impressed! The lasagne was lovely and the rocky road sundae for desert was perfectly sweet. The service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Will be back!
