Amazing customer service, very testy food. I had onion bhaji wrap, falafel wrap with samosa. Tomorrow I’m going back to have some more samosa and dal & rice. Good quality and quantity for the price, very Hygienic. Gluten free, vegan options available. Pure vegetarian as well. Highly recommend... close to Roman bath / bathe abbey.

A must visit food place if you are in Bath. You can sense the aroma from a fair distance. We were casually walking on the streets on Christmas Day and we found this gem. They were serving food for charity that day which was such a sweet gesture from the team. The Samosas are the highlight along with the chai. I would love to go to this place again and again

This was the most delightful part of our visit to Bath. The spicy powder on the samosas was amazing. We visited on Christmas Eve, loved it, and returned again for more on Christmas Day (yes they were open). Niraj is such a nice and friendly guy. Everyone should stop by, it’s perfect in cold weather too

Had the samosa and falafel wrap combo. Falafel stayed crispy and delicious in spite of the sauces (which were super tasty but not overwhelming). Some samosas are heavy and greasy, but this one was crisp, light, and fantastic. Service staff were lovely. Perfect food for a cold evening! EDIT: a month later I am still thinking about this falafel. It's that good.

I tried the samosas at Chaiwalla in Bath, and they were absolutely fantastic! Perfectly crisp on the outside and filled with a flavorful, spiced filling that tasted fresh and homemade. They had just the right balance of heat and seasoning, making each bite a delight. Pairing them with their chutney or chai is a must. Definitely some of the best samosas I’ve had!

Well, where to start with this review, we're just gutted that we were only able to eat here the once, due to just passing through. We had heard about this place on Google, and wow did it live up to it expectations, the moment we arrived it smelt absolutely incredible. So we ordered the "all in one bowl" They absolutely stack it full, with everything on, and it was 10/10, better than the food we had in indain it's self, and that is no lie. And being 100% vegan plant based is amazing. I couldn't recommend this place more. And the staff are absolute legends 👌🤙

I wanted to try Chai Walla after seeing the reviews online. I ordered the Falafel Wrap & Samosa, but was told they could do me a Falafel and Onion Bhaji wrap instead as they didn’t have enough Falafels for just a Falafel wrap. Even though this would’ve normally cost £9, they only charged me £7.50 as this was the cost of a Falafel Wrap and Samosa. I can’t understate how flavoursome, delicious and moreish both the wrap and samosa were. I have tried quite a few falafels in my time, but this was the best ever. Coupled with the jovial and friendly service, getting food from Chai Walla was simply an absolute treat. I can’t wait to come back here again. My partner also got an Onion Bhaji wrap with a samosa and absolutely loved hers as well. The portion sizes were really fantastic value as well. I implore anyone visiting Bath to try this food. Been here twice, once in summer and once in winter. The chai is amazing and very much like typical chai in India. Loses a couple stars overall as we always have to wait 5-10 minutes because the chai needs to be made. If the name is ‘chai walla’ and it’s a small counter in the middle of town hoping to get passer bys, surely you would always have the tea ready to go at an instant. Not much atmosphere and the first experience was quite laddish instead of professional. Second time was a younger gentleman running it solo and was very polite and professional.

Mr Karthik (review given below). I am the waiter that served your table and I personally took your order. First of all there was 4 of you & you wanted to share 1 main dish & 1 keema rice between 4 of you, second of all I made sure the order was made to your liking. Half way through the meal I came and asked you how the food was and you replied ‘very good & very spicy’. So I am very confused by this review, next time you fancy going out I suggest you get yourselves a meal deal each which is more affordable for yourselves & I would not recommend you guys going to any restaurants/takeaway if you are going to write false reviews because you found our prices ‘dear’
