Amazing from start to finish 4 of us had lunch here Friday lunch time . Food outstanding champagne just wow ! Staff super super friendly . We will be back

Food was good as usual but the service has deteriorated a lot. No one came to take our orders 10 min after we got our menus. Our water glasses were never refilled. When it came to ordering dessert again we had to wait ages to get the attention of a staff member . Dessert prep time was really long and lastly we ordered 2 course kids meal but never received the dessert for the kids meal. The 13.5% service charge is exorbitant and does meet the standards you would expect from Christopher’s. Very disappointed this time

The food has definitely gone up a notch - first time I have done brunch here - their french toast was best I have ever eaten!! All our breakfasts were amazing and so were our cocktails Lovely staff It was clearly EXTREMELY busy… but everyone managed to get us our order and with charm and smiles! Will def be coming for brunch again

We had the pre theatre menu which was delicious. Good portion size. Service was patchy and we had to keep trying to get the staffs attention but it was a very busy Saturday night in December. We all enjoyed the meal and would go back again.

Hi the Martini Bar was welcoming with good service. The restaurant was so-so. Taking our order was slow. Our waiter spilled red wine on to the white tablecloth as he poured our wine into two out of three glasses. Once ordered the food came quickly. The fillet steaks were very good but the lobster mac and cheese at £36 for mac and cheese with 3-4 small pieces of lobster was poor value. It was all “fine” but for over £400 not good value.

Service was generally not very attentive. Had to ask for a server to come to the table every time. Condiments had to be asked for. No salt and pepper on the table. For the price I am sure you could do a lot better

What a fabulous evening we had and thank you to Remi and the team for looking after us. The baked Camembert with truffle and port was a big hit, get the roast potatoes to dip into it! Remi was a fabulous host, made our experience personal (thank you for spotting my insulin and asking me about it), wasn’t over bearing but super friendly and chatty. Constantly running around between tables and all with a smiling, welcoming face. Thank you, you really made our evening

Went with family. Lovely atmosphere on entry with Christmas decorations. Restaurant was nice but it took a while to be served. Food was nothing special and quite overpriced for what it was. Glad we tried it but would not rush back.

Asked for medium rare lamb but got well done. Sent it back, replacement was perfect. The curry came with the driest mixed grain rice ever. Just do basmati !!!! The smell in the ladies loo was dreadful (rank, worse than a portaloo ) Very disappointed this time won’t be back.

Pre theatre experience. Cocktail followed by.three course pre theatre menu with plenty of choice and good portion size. Tasty wine list. Well situated for theatre land. I've known the place for over 30yrs and it never disappoints.

Over priced - awful food - How can you mess up brunch so badly - eggs were horrible - rubber and tasted bad. Bread stale and everything was charred! Do not waste your money here

Had to wait for table to be ready despite making a reservation, food was pleasant but incorrect french toast was presented & when waitress realised error two small peaches were brought to table to attempt to rectify, restaurant is also extremely loud.

The location, ambience and price of Christopher’s is just what you would expect of a top London restaurant (and I have been many times before). That said, the food for our Saturday brunch was average at best. The omelettes (a guest and mine) were overcooked (dry) with little filling; not the luxurious omelette presentations I have had in the past. Similarly, the side-dish of hash browns was anything other than what one might have expected in a top-class American style restaurant; soft mash that had a little browning here and there - where was the lovely naughty crispy offering? Despite the disappointments I was sufficiently hungry to eat the offerings and leave. I did send the supposed tobacco onions back; they were neither crispy or thinly cut and some fool had decided to add a load of spice that made it/them inedible. There are too many other good restaurants in London to revisit here

Amazing food, service and the staff here are amazing and take good care of you. Would recommend for groups, couples or solo. Great ambience and very cozy atmosphere.

All in all I’d say it’s okay, the French toast is definitely nice and the quality on the sausage for the tex meal was really good. Not a restaurant I’d go back to often but it’s okay to try.

Really good, great service, good food and lovely cocktails. Let us sit on longer for an extra bottle of wine and then port. All very good.

Fried chicken and waffles tastes like a heat up leftover, it’s horrible!

Overpriced, average food, served by unfriendly staff. Even the meet and greet team on the front of house couldn’t raise a smile and on leaving, didn’t bother looking up from their phones to thank us for coming. Would not return and would not recommend to anyone.

A regular and great place for brunch. Interesting menu and good food.

We booked for Sunday brunch. Our waiter kept disappearing and only after 40 minutes did he come take our order. Food came out at different times, 15 mins. to an hour later. The Christmas cocktails were all ice, one teaspoon of actual drink. There was nothing to drink. What a waste of money. Food was okay. Eggs holladaise were nice. Salmon eggs were too watery. French toast was fantastic but that took one hour to come out. For over £250 spent plus service charge don’t waste your money here.

We arrived and the entrance was full of people who had just turned up hoping for a table, we panicked a little bit but the concierge came straight over To us and took us to our table . The waiting staff were so friendly, professional and helpful. The food was out of this world and very well priced, Thank you all for a great experience

Birthday celebration. Attentive servers, great steak, cooked to perfection. I have eaten here many times and this was the best time yet

Stunning venue with excellent food. The chocolate brioche French toast is worthy of the best French toast in London title. Staff were immaculately presented and friendly. However the experience was slightly marred by the fact it was my birthday brunch and it was stated in my booking while I watched about 3 tables during our sitting get sparklers birthday plates and I got nothing. One of the sides of fries we ordered was missing from our order too. It’s a beautiful venue, I was just a bit disappointed my birthday wasn’t acknowledged but a few other diners was in my presence.

As soon as you walk in it feels special, they was putting up Christmas trimmings, and it was looking amazing. Went to our table 6 of us, we had the £35 theatre menu, starters was lovely mains was a little disappointing, pulled pork tacos was very small portion although very tasty. Sea bass was the star of the show the linguine was a very poor let down, swimming in oil, and when finished still was an inch of oil in the bowl. The chocolate fudge cake was absolutely amazing! 1 waiter went out his way to be polite and funny the other waiter housing be a waiter, he wasn't rude but looked like he didn't want to be there. Big let down was the toilets, they defo need an upgrade, and needed to be inspected as they was untidy and not the cleanest water was absolutely freezing. Overall was lovely to be in such a special building but things need to improve to want to make us return.

It’s a beautiful place, especially with Christmas decorations but it was very quiet given for a Friday night. It was lacking atmosphere not to mention it was cold and a little uncomfortable. The food was nice but nothing super special for the prices, especially the drinks. Expected more from such upmarket place but I guess this is the new London.

Incredible food with amazing service, the dessert was the best dessert i’ve had in London (pecan pie!)

The food portion sizes were way too small and have got progressively smaller over the last 3 years whilst the prices have been going up. The chicken breast for £28 was the same size as a poussin. Won’t be returning soon

A very positive experience except some of the seating in the bar area is very dark so it’s difficult to read the menus and see your food.

Absolutely loved my first visit here! We were hungry after spin class so went for two mains because why not?! My Huevos California were delicious and perfectly balanced with generous portions of avocado. The French Toast with peaches and mascarpone was actually divine. I can't wait to return!

The customer service was exceptional. The chocolate French toast is a must have! The Eggs Royale were incredible but the crab cake was below average and we found small pieces of shell in the crab meat, this put us off from having anymore. Overall, would still visit again as the service and French toast were amazing.

He estado aquí varias veces y siempre cumple. difícil de ir mal con el champán y el queso y siempre es genial encontrar algo que no has probado antes que te convence. El espacio es limitado, pero eso es parte del atractivo, realmente vale la pena reservar. Los precios del champán un poco altos, pero los costos de ubicación deben ser enormes. Si te gusta alguno de los champagnes puedes comprarlos online directamente desde C+F y precios muy rebajados.

We have been going to Christophers for many years, starting well before the name change from Christophers American Bar and Grill. We absolutely loved it. We even did a NYE there that might have been one of the best NYE dinners and experiences I have ever had (this is quite a few years ago now). I must say, the last 3 or 4 times it just feels like it has slipped -- each time, enjoying the experience just a little less. Both my wife and I expressed it nearly at the same time after our most previous visit on 08/11/2024. I learned how to make martinis from a fantastic bartender at Christophers on our very first visit there. Since then, I have always discussed drinks and such with their bartenders. In fact, we like our martinis a certain way because of that bartender and always enjoyed talking to the Christopher bartenders about it. The last few visits I have found the bartenders far less engaging and borderline rude. The two on Friday (not busy at all -- around 17:45 or so) would not engage at all and if looks could kill, I would not be writing this. I can understand if it were busy, but they were NOT busy at all. Once seated and ordering, we asked if there would be any way that we could get the mac n' cheese as a side. The answer was a definitive "no". They could remove the lobster and serve the main, but would not serve it as a side. Why not? We ordered the most expensive glass of red they had at £26/glass. It was 125ml! I didn't even know they served that size in London. I assumed it would be 175ml. What made it frustrating was the menu I ordered it off of -- the bar menu that they gave us in addition to the wine menu when we were seated -- didn't say it was 125ml. I pointed it out to the waiter and his first response was that the wine menu states that it is 125ml and was hesitant to do anything. In the end, they did make it 175ml. Finally, the food seems it has gone from excellent to mediocre. The steak we had was very average.

Table booked for 11am - restaurant doesn't open until 11am - diners waiting outside locked doors - thank goodness it wasn't raining! Folks on door reception could try to smile and be friendly - first impressions count. Famous French toast was very good but could have been great with two peaches instead of one. Bloody Mary tasted more like a Virgin Mary.

Great decor inside and lovely old building. The staff on the phone were very polite and friendly and staff on arrival and serving staff were wonderful. The menu had a good choice of options and the pre theatre options were a great price. I’d definitely return again.

Christopher’s is really not worth the price. The service was very mediocre. The food very very average. The ambience is good but definitely not worth the pricing.

Overpriced, not really American menu, service low quality and not attentive. At the end was positive as at least remembered the birthday celebration and provided a dessert accordingly.

The atmosphere and service were excellent as usual. Glad to see they have refreshed the menu which had some new and exciting things to try. Cocktails and drink prices were slightly more than I remember, but it was a beautiful evening.

Went to Christopher's for the first time yesterday. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Mac & Cheese was very oily. Steak was decent though.

Loved Christopher’s! The food was fantastic and the experience was great. The only feedback is for the salmon and scrambled eggs that should be on the bread rather than serve the way it is.

The service was very slow had to wait for a while to be seated even though the lady at reception was very helpful the service during the meal time was very slow we waited for a while to be served kept asking for someone to take my order and the the toilets where unclean and messy and the service during payment was very delayed and slow so overall service wasn’t great, French toast isn’t worth the hype either which was disappointing however they did do a little celebration for the birthday girl which was the only thing nice.

Christopher’s is rated highly for their brunch and my expectations were quite high. We were seated quickly and our order was taken promptly. We had the Lobster Mac&Cheese and the Eggs Maryland(Crab cake, spinach, poached egg and hollandaise) - I’m sorry to admit that both dishes were very average. The eggs Maryland was salty and the Lobster Mac&Cheese has the chewiest lobster I’ve ever had. The cheese was just melted with no notable crust. What really saved the day were the amazingly fluffy blueberry pancakes. Woooowwww I will have to go back just for that. The service was really average, might just be a busy Saturday afternoon.

Food was very good and at lunchtime with the set menu, good value too.

Beautiful surroundings second floor dining room. Nice prix fixe menu. Dinner was very good start to finish and timed well. We shared buffalo mozzarella and then both had fish. Mine salmon and his sea bass. For dessert a strawberry cream concoction.

Great limited bistro booked with a virgin experience voucher for 2 and had a glass of champagne each with a platter of cheeses, bread, crackers and deserts. Would highly recommend, Also ordered a flight of 3 champagne’s which were lovely too. Just slightly disappointed that we were not offered the teas/coffee at the end but really did not spoil anything

Dining at Christophers is always a very enjoyable experience. The staff from meet and greet to waiting staff in the dining room are pleasant, friendly and professional. Our main server was lovely, very helpful, warm and nothing was too much trouble. Just a slight gripe on the speed of service sometimes. We asked for condiments to accompany our main course and it took about 10 minutes to arrive. I think there was maybe a little mix up in which server was organising that and sometimes no servers were in view. Also, I did state in the booking on ‘occasion’ that it was a birthday but I had to relay that info later to serving staff as I don’t think that had been passed on to the dining room. I would have expected meet and free staff to perhaps check that with us and relay info to waiting staff. In the end our lovely server delivered a special dessert sparkler but I wonder if I hadn’t casually mentioned it if that would have been overlooked.

Fabulous Champagne & Fromage afternoon tea! Can’t think of a better choice for afternoon tea than cheese and champagne! Really authentic place, staff were lovely and very knowledgeable about the cheeses. Everything was delicious - we will definitely be back - thank you!

We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy dinner on our last night in London and this one came up as a quiet place to enjoy good food. Unfortunately, upon entering just the lobby, I could hear loud music coming from upstairs and began regretting my choice. Having already paid to make the reservation, there was no alternative. The dining area was decorated nicely with large windows, but they had rhythmic dance music playing the entire time and it was very distracting and unpleasant. Each diner was required to order a main dish, which was bothersome because some of us would have liked to try some of the delicious looking starters and appetizers that they had, but knew we weren’t hungry enough to eat all that food, so we were all stuck choosing something from the small mains list and forgoing the nicer choices from the other sections of the menu. The food was good, though several of our dishes were quite spicy. Also, some of the meals seemed lacking. One in our party ordered a burger, which arrived on a plate by itself. No garnish, no side dish, just a burger on a plate. My husband ordered tacos, which ended up being 2 street tacos, and not enough for a full meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place as there are plenty of other places in the area that would be better value and more catered to the customer and not the desire of the restaurant.

This is my regular go to London venue when out with friends. The ambience and service is always great and make it the perfect place for pre-theatre drinks. Would highly recommend the Nutella martinis

This place is going down hill, and fast. Have eaten here a few times over the years and this will be the last. Friday evening in August and the place was virtually empty, and I can now see why. Service was very slow, only seemed to be two staff serving. Take next door to us was very loud - and yet they could have spread guests out rather than place the few they had close to each other. Food was good, but expensive and slightly smaller portion size than many similar places

Bones in the chicken. Worn out interiors (stairs need a paint job and everything looks tired and worn out). Basically empty. Service was good but couldn't salvage the terrible experience. Overpriced, bad drink portions, bland food, no salt and pepper provided, just a very tired and disappointing experience overall.

Not enough tomatoes on the avocado on toast or feta. The coffee was not hot. It was expensive for what we had £55 and high service charge. The place had no ambience

We went for the Sunday brunch, and were disappointed by the overall service. There wasn’t one consistent server, and it took asking twice for water in 20 minutes to receive any. At that point, our service was relatively rushed, and came in quickly. Although after that point, it took another 20 minutes or so for someone to come take our plates. (No one checked in to see how our meal was, or asked if we wanted anymore water/drinks).

I went expecting an American Style brunch, i was sadly disappointed, this is just a very expensive place to eat mediocre food in a very noisy enviroment. Definitely on my avoid in future list.
