I enjoyed Champion takeaway on a regular basis but tonight found out they were now Happy Wok. New Menu, but they tried to do my order from old menu. Not impressed with food. Such A shame!

Ordered for 2 adults 2 kids, paid £47 and only managed to eat half even though we stuffed our faces because the food was so good, planning to eat the rest for lunch tomorrow. Particularly good sweet and sour chicken balls, ribs, beef chop suey

Very nice food at a good price sine you are by the coast. The one thing that we did like was in the beef, green pepper and black bean sauce, you got lots of other vegetables in it as well, baby corn and others. The staff in the shop were friendly and we didn't have to wait to long for the food, you can order on their website site which was cool but we just ordered in the shop. Not much to add really just hot, fresh food at a good price which is what you want when on holiday.

Hidden away down a tiny side road in the centre of Kessingland is this little gem of a Chinese, the young man was very friendly, always smiling and the food was just delightful. The chicken balls that we purchased were beautifully golden with a crispy batter and a very sizeable piece of chicken in each one, not too greasy and as you bite into them you instantly get that gorgeous notable Chinese flavour that only a take away can provide. A reasonably priced menu with a wide variety of oriental foods along with a small selection of classic British dishes….something for everyone here! I would definitely recommend that people visit this food outlet as I feel you’d be hard pushed to find better food within the village or indeed a good 5-9 mile vicinity.

Food came on time but it was pretty dreadful. Curry and curry sauce were completely bland despite asking for them to be hotted up. Noodles dry and tasteless. The whole meal left this slightly greasy film - maybe MSG? Anyway, complete waste of £35.

I am writing this review having visited the restaurant on a Saturday night when you would expect it to be very busy. There was an initial wait to be seated of around about 45 minutes, this was more due to lack of staff rather than tables not being available. Once seated the two staff in the restaurant clearly couldn’t cope with the amount of table covers and again we waited a long time for the food order to be taken. Then there was a big wait between each course and for plates to be collected etc. it was clear to everyone that there needed to be more staff on shift (clearly we don’t know what had gone on here, maybe there was staff sickness or something unpredictable) but if this is normal, it simply means poor customer service. In my view the food was ok, the starters were a reasonable quality as was the duck course. The mains were small portions but you could order as much food as you wanted so this wasn’t really a problem. Only that it took a long time to make a reorder. What I would say is that the sweet and sour chicken dish could have had more sauce and the sauce was a little thin but this is me being picky really. Fairly good value. For me if they could just get the staffing right I would happily go back but I wouldn’t go again and put up with the wait and the lack of staff experienced on my first visit as it has put me off in truth.

Tired after a long day at work. Ordered a takeaway, it was delivered quickly and the food was very hot. Very delicious. The best Chinese food I've ever had. The chicken was fresh and not like other places.

Well I'm gobsmacked how anyone can hike their prices so much. I understand that prices have gone up but crafty as they are they try and bulk out what you order with veg or more sauce and to crown it all the actual containers it is served in are smaller. Seems we are living in rip off Briton
