Chandni Chowk in Birmingham

It was aa wonderful experience with chandni chonk . The food was amazing. We went to soho road for dinner but unfortunately all the shops were closed only chandni chonk was open we dinein there and greatfully everything was amazing and the staff was also very kindful and they served us very nicely Overall all the experience was wonderful And I personally recommend everyone to hove a vist there one you will enjoy the food alot 👌👌

Management has recently changed - Food was exceptionally good. Even in an area where there is a lot of excellent restaurants, this food here compares well to them and is probably better. Service was quick and efficient. Main means we're all great and there is a great selection of sweets for desert. I recommend this place.

Really good food with good service. We had methi paratha, allo paratha, lamp chop and daal makhani which was really tasty😊

Excellent restaurant with plenty of dine in space. The food was excellent and had a home cooked vibe. Service was unrushed and attentive. I will be back again for more comforting food for sure!

Very slow service in the afternoon, poor little boy was running around all the tables. Ketchup and mayonnaise bottles don't look very hygienic, some other tables and ourselves sent back dirty glasses and plates to be replaced. Overpriced and false advertising, Punjabi samosas are only 50p to take away, they tasted just ok... tea came out far too late. Disappointing experience and wish we went to the place further down.

Had a wonderful experience at Chandni Chowk. The staff was incredibly helpful in explaining the different sweets. Everything we tried was delicious, especially Ladoo and Pinni. Will definitely be back soon!

We went there in a group of 4 for brunch. Had Chole Bhature, Channa-Poori- Halwa, pakore and bread pakoras with some masala chai. Everything was good. Bhatures and pooris were light, crispy. Service was good too.

Was in Birmingham today from Swindon, did a bit of shopping, we wanted to eat some lunch. We went in Chandni chowk the food was delicious, they had a simple easy menu. We didn't have to wait for a long time for food, the food came it was hot and delicious, every dish had its own flavour. The place was clean and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I used to go to this place 2 years ago food was good then but now I came after 2 years I get know recently there is new owner and new staff and food that I had was fantastic lamb curry and there gobi manchurian was delicious I will prefer to go this place again.

I was wedding shopping with family and decided to cum into Chandni chowk, was welcomed very nicely from the staff, polite and friendly, they had loads of options even kids menus, food was amazing, my sister orders a Thali and it was so tasty, than we had dessert and the waffles and fresh juice was perfect n refreshing especially there mojitos, I seen the mixed reviews and I really dmt know y the negativity as everything was amazing to the food to the staff will definitely recommend, thank chandni chowk staff will definitely come in again

Out of every spot I have ever had, chandni chowk has to be my favourite curry house for both delivery and dining in. Staff are absolutely amazing as they greet and seat you as you walk in and are so accommodating when helping me with my order. The food has to be the best Indian food I have ever had with a real authentic home made taste. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. Personal favourites would be the butter chicken with garlic naan aswell as gulab jamun with kulfi

Worst snacks I ever had. Bought Samosa from this shop today i.e. 11th August and rest you can see in the attached photo. Total bought 10 samosa out of which 5 were filled with actual stuffing and rest were just blend with shreded potatoes.

Waited for 1 hour whilst other people who arrived after received their food first. Undercooked chicken tikka pieces. By the end we didn’t not pay for our bill and was offered free dishes and snacks for the outrageous service and quality of food. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I ordered moong daal and roti from the shop at last Sunday. There was an a lot refined oil flowing in daal. It was like made one day ago x tasteless. Please owner ask your staff to cook fresh food. Thanks

I really liked most of the dishes: Pani Puri Dahi Puri Amritsari kulcha Sugarcane juice, Mojito Dahi bhalla didnt seem fresh. Veg Thali I was told was recommended, but I think the curries, Saag and Dal Makhani could have been better. The lady at reception was very humble.

Yesterday I was going to Chandni restaurant soho road . When I enter in restaurant I was order dosa . Waiting waiting after 35 min come in lady and ask me it’s 20 min more late , that’s not good I will never come here.

We recently traveled from Edinburgh to Birmingham for wedding shopping and decided to dine at Chandni Chowk Restaurant on Soho Road. The experience was fantastic and truly worth the visit. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. My wife, sister, daughter, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The standout dish for us was the golgappa starter, which was a delightful start to our meal. Each dish was flavorful and authentic, perfectly capturing the essence of Indian cuisine. Chandni Chowk Restaurant made our trip even more memorable with its delicious food and excellent service. We highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and will definitely visit again on our next trip to Birmingham.

Some of the dishes like papadi and samosa_chat was good. However, the service is slow. Blue lighting was a bit too harsh on the eyes, didn't feel pleasant. Not sure about lassi but looked very watery, more like butter milk and sugar cane juice was not what is expected, might be because of sourcing them. To bland and darkish appearance. But definitely not worth £5

Clean place with nice atmosphere, the staff are very pleasant. We were served by Arun who was very polite and professional. The food was very fresh and not at all greasy and very tasty, good value for money. We live 45 mins away but will surely be going here again soon. Thanks.

Yesterday 16/05/2024... I had guests at my house and I bought samosas from this shop which were made of rotten potatoes and I felt bad in front of my guest and we all had an upset stomach.

Great place, bit pricey - we only popped in for a quick drink and chaat, but the prices were a bit much. Eg I think fresh orange or sugarcane juice is around £3 a cup... Tasty food, very authentic and can even be customised to an extent. My wife requested as little spice as possible, and they did it. Lots of room here, though we did visit early afternoon.

Had a lovely evening meal with friends and family, friendly staff and catered for all our needs. Portion sizes were fair too.

We were somewhat let down by the paneer sabji, as it turned out to be quite chewy and didn't appeal to the children. The chicken, while slightly better, still had a chewiness to it. Personally, I would suggest considering other dining options unless there are no alternatives available. However, it's worth noting that the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating.

One of good place where you can get the Indian street food!! The place is small and good, nice food good and hygiene. The prices are cheap compared to other restaurants. Everything was perfect nothing to complain. Bit challenging to find a parking slot. Overall, it’s 4.5/5. Definitely give it a try!! Note: The pics were taken under the blue light!!

Best Pani puri in Birmingham ❤️ amazing Indian food. All the chaat items are delicious. I tried mithai for the first time and it is just delicious. Must try kaju katli and motichoor ladoo, rasgulla .

Went on Diwali Evening and the buffet was on but most of items were finished , the Management pushed it to make few more hundred pounds outcof nothing , they should have shut it down once the food is finished , they were polite but not appropriate way of doing business.

I really enjoyed the tasteful food here, first time here and liked what I had. If I'm back in the area I will be popping in again to try something different and reevaluate the rating.

If you’re looking for simple bit authentic Indian food - this is the place. This place was recommended by my Indian friend so I gave it a go. I tried the chicken curry, saag and tandoori roti. All were fantastic. The lady that owns the place was very friendly and I’m looking forward to going back again soon to explore the menu try something different. Thanks 😊

Best lamb saag I've ever had! Been here multiple times and the food has always been fantastic. The butter chicken is excellent too, all the food feels home cooked and has the authentic Indian taste.

I bought Jilebi and Samosa from this shop and I like them very much. Jilebi is perfect in Sweeteness.. not more not less.. Samosa is okay but not bad.. tastes good with sauce.. I recommend everyone who visits Birmingham temple, must visit this shop too..

Best food I’ve ever tasted. I had the butter chicken, with plain boiled rice and garlic naan. All washed down with a mango lassi. This place blew my mind and my tastebuds. I will be bringing the whole family next time.

The vegetable thali was totally amazing 😲 👏. Well done chef. I opted for this dish but don't like the palak paneer and was offered an alternative of chick pea curry. Mmmmmm lunch for 2 for less than £15 that cannot be beaten.

Noodle burger is rubbish with lits of turmeric, i don't know who use turmeric in burgers, found hair in it. Spring roll disappointed with onion stuffing only. Totally not happy with their service.

The food was great but, it was in the sweeter end, we had ordered Dal Makhani, mutter paneer and the soya curry. They tasted great but due to sweetness couldn’t get any other flavour. Great service and overall really clean and tidy place.
