Best Indian restaurant in the UK. Consistently great authentic Indian cuisine, the street food style starters are amazing! Incredible flavours on tandoori mixed grill. The staff are attentive and friendly especially. Couldn’t recommend the place more.

Chennai express catered for my son’s 1st birthday party and the food was just outstanding. They were very flexible with the delivery of food and the set up. Special mention to chef Siva who did a great job in meeting all our needs and perfecting the menu. Guests loved the food and the spread. Thank you Mr.Sagar for making our birthday party a hit..!! I would highly recommend Chennai express for any parties.

For the first time we have visited there restaurant. Honestly speaking it was a great experience. Foods are so delicious and their behaviour was 10 on 10. Mr. Srinu served us today and he has good customer service skill. Of course I will go there again 💯😍

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful staff. Srinu Was our server and was amazing. I’m not great with spice and he noticed so asked the chef not to put any spice in my main! Lovely place highly recommend.

Exhilarating Restaurant with a fine assortments of food such as a large masala dosa which is MASSIVE. Which will set you back £10. A Fizzy drink can be ordered in ½ a pint and a pint this can vary in price between £3.20-£4.25 and is served in a glass bottle with a cup. The chicken biryani is served in a pot and is exquisite I would recommend. You can buy more drinks such as teas and Mango lessi etc.. This is a south Asian based restaurant and I'd highly recommend so 4/5 stars. 1 word to describe the Restaurant: Exhilarating Common Questions Asked; Does this place have toilets: NO Does it have a good hygiene rating: YES Is there food you can take-away: YES

Delicious food and wonderful experience

First time visit to this place. Very nice and cosy little restaurant. Food was great, amazing flavours and textures. warm and friendly welcome. We visited with friends, we came from Ringwood in Hampshire others from High Wycombe. Definitely worth the travel and would definitely go again.

Nice good quality food. A bit on the spicy side. Basic seating. Cutlery not routinely changed in between courses although I’m sure they would if asked.

Ordered via uber eats. Waited 2 hours and then restaurant cancelled my order. When called not interested in helping. Poor.

I went to the restaurant today around 7:30 pm. Firstly there was no welcoming approach. We ordered chicken biriyani, Kerala parotta, pallipalayam lamb and tea. I should specifically mention the tea is equal to a cup of water, my husband just took one sip and didn’t touch after that. Kerala parotta was too small and finally the biriyani’s quantity was unbelievably less. We have tried multiple restaurants but this is definitely not worth the money and people from south India will be disappointed with the quantity especially and I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. @Restaurant team, can you please serve the food worth for the price we give?

The food is consistently delicious everything is cooked to perfection and full of flavour. A special shout-out to our waiter, Srinu, who is always so friendly and attentive. He makes sure we feel well taken care of, and his service really adds to the overall experience.
