Cheshire Tandoori in Cheshire West and Chester

poor tonight unfortunately. luke warm and very small chunks of meat in the curries and pretty greasy. shame

I've order several times from Cheshire tandoori through different app and have always been happy until today. The food I usually order tasted different and not in a good way. It was greasy less spicy, even the peshawary nan also taste completely different. I guess they have a new chef. If that's the case I hope the other one comes back soon as I will not order again if the quality stay like that

vinaloo wasn't hot enough and all poppadoms were in broken pieces. The food was still nice.

Probably the worst food I've ever had, lamb wasn't cooked rice was cold and the service was crap. Ignored for 20 minutes to be given sub standard food, will never return

Got a delivery absolutely disgusting total ripp off will never use again cold soggy oil dripping from the bag disgusting I chucked it in the bin don't want a refund dont want to order from there ever again

Definitely wouldn't recommend, the owner is constantly coughing and gargling the flem in his mouth and very rude, the guy passing out the food has long yellow nails and are gross, despite all this I over looked it until the point I couldn't stand the rudeness anymore, they don't clear the empty glasses or plates from your table are table was over flowing to the point we had to start moving emty glasses and plates on to the Unoccupied table next to us always been a good customer and didn't want to write this review, unfortunately I can't recommend, however the "indain" across the road is a much better place the atmosphere is great and people are lovely,

Best mixed grill I’ve had in a long time.

Been coming here (infrequently) for over 20 years. Still same owner and still great food. First time I’d eaten here in about a year and won’t leave it so long next time.

the curries themselves were far too oily. we had stomach aches in the middle of the night. they also bore no resemblance to their names. Balti was too sweet and the butter chicken was bright red with small 1cm cubes of diced meat? such a shame as the rice and sides were ok. but its a curry house after all.

Lots of variety in the buffet but extremely oily.

Chewy tough chicken that wasn’t freshly cooked,and got overcharged.not recommended

The food was amazing! I had my normal rogan josh and it was one of the best I had tried. I also had poppadoms and a shish kebab which were also very tasty. The waiters were sometimes a bit slow at coming to ask about drinks or give the bill. There was no one else in at first so it surprised me!

Spot on, taste was great. Deffo going again for the buffet next Sunday.

Sunday buffet at Chesh is one of our favourites. Great variety frequently replenished. Feels unrushed and spacious even when busy. Courteous and capable staff. If you see a saag dish you should definitely have it.

Visited here many times both for takeaway and eat in. Never had a problem until recently as the food as become very hit and miss. Same meal never tastes the same everytime.

Food is always fantastic, we especially love the buffet on a Sunday! Abdul is lovely and always welcoming with a smile when we arrive, Adam and staff do an excellent job at looking after us every time.

Absolutely the best I've ever had! I've been on this earth quite a while and been to Cheshire Tandoori countless times. We sat down to eat on Tuesday and it was next level, food and service the best. Highly recommend 👌

It is one of the worst restaurant in UK. Restaurant has overcharged for food ordered from menu but charged differently on Christmas eve. It is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. Please try different restaurant.

Absolutely love this place come all the time. Amazing staff have such a laugh with us. We always go in for birthday celebrations and they make it amazing!!! Me and my stepdad have been coming here for over 20 years and has always been consistently good and Ali the owner is a pleasure. Even though I have moved far away now I still make the journey up for a much loved curry when I can.

Very relaxed, food was delicious, great selection to choose from and the best part was we were not rushed to finish and leave.

Always good food and I'm more than happy to recommend them. Order a takeaway and pick it up yourself as sometimes deliveries can be delayed so don't moan if so, or better still book a table and enjoy the food straight from the kitchen.

Ordered a curry , said don’t ring football I’m putting kid to sleep. Told them Not to come before 9. They arrived at 8.45 rang door hall woke kid up ! Ordered garlic mushrooms, garlic mushroom rice came instead! Didn’t order a man bread but one came! £15. Wasted !!

Went for a buffet..on sunday..for my daughter's boyfriend birthday..staff was welcoming when we arived..food was great ' service excellent, definitely go again on sunday evening for a buffet ' very good value for your money..one of our favourite indian restaurant's..

A lovely restaurant but I phoned to check if they did gluten free food and was assured that I could order anything from the menu. However, even after checking several times that the meal was gluten free, it clearly wasn't and I spent a very uncomfortable night suffering from the after effects! I'm a little disappointed as, had I been told the truth, I would have gone somewhere else!

It's okay and the service is good but the food lacked authenticity and use far too much food colouring. Probably fine for the average palate but I prefer authenticity.

Went for the Sunday buffet which is very nice. They never asked names or asked us to sanitise on entry. Probably wouldn't go here for a while as not confident on their standard or knowledge on Covid

As with many previous visits we found the choice, quality and value of the buffet to be extremely good. At less than £9/head this is excellent value with a variety of starters and curries for the largest of appetites.The food here is consistently good and the owner is a real gentleman. Never a single issue here always lovely food

Food was nice but the chicken korma was a little spicy and not much sauce. Chicken was dry but other than that it was great

Food was spot on couldn’t fault it just the staff were rude and not welcoming because we had 2 kids with us Not a family place at all.

Best buffet in town. Don't let the negative people put you off going here. Massive selection on the buffet. About 7 or 8 starters and at least 6 or 7 curries plus rice naan and bombay potatoes. All fresh and tastes great.

Always had great meals and the all u can eat buffet on Sunday well worth it can get busy at certain times but if u ave to wait well worth it food great and staff too .

Food has always been excellent here

Good portion sizes. The chicken Balti was far too sweet. Apparently it is possible to ask for no sugar which would suit diabetic people. Restaurant a little tired and crockery well used.

Amazing food, always fresh and tasty. Their peshwari nan is one the best I have tasted. The okra is beautifully cooked, I could go on for ever describing the food. Service is 5 star, the food comparable to some of the best restaurants. Try Shatgora Gosht, for a different and exciting dish
