Chilli is so consistently excellent! I return to this restaurant many times, which I haven't done with any other curry I've found in Barnsley. It's hard to find good vegetarian options normally too, but Chilli does a paneer makhani that I literally crave, if I go too long without 😂 My partner has had many different meat curries from them too and they're always nice - he currently enjoys the Chicken Tikka Chasni, if you're after a recommendation. Have been in to the restaurant (which was inside another restaurant but they still served the Chilli menu) + I've also had (many a) takeaway, both are really great consistently. Breads are delicious. Ugh, just everything lol - couldn't recommend them enough tbh. Order on their website instead of a 3rd party + support local!!

Order placed for half 7 to allow everyone time to get home from work and settled but order arrived before half 6, delivery driver stated it said half 7 on receipt but was sent out anyway.

Absolutely delicious, ordered chcken tikka spring rolls, chicken pakora starters then for main had the chicken korma with pilau rice and a some garlic naan bread. All of it was really nice and freshly cooked. Will definitely be ordering again. 5 stars

Absolutely ridiculous driver. Learn to use Google maps. Its not a hard house to find by any means! Should not have to run to you.

Left a review from last order and the food is still the same popadoms arrived stale and unedable the pickle tray was the same tasteless and bland two pots of yogurt gives me the impression that they can’t be bothered or they have run out seeing as this is the second time I’d go with the former. Rice was cooked ok but then you can’t really get that wrong the curry itself was ok wasn’t the best was ok. To the owner read the reviews and take note that means understanding your customers needs

Popadoms were stale and poor especially for a Saturday night. Pickle tray was two tubs of yogurt one onion and one mango no spice nothing flavoursome curry was poor tasteless and short of substance ie meat was more sauce than anything else rice was the only thing cooked well

Food was really tasty, BUT the portions you get for the price you pay are ridiculous. Its like child size portions, but other than that really good.

Ordered here instead of our usual place, it was more expensive and the portion size was tiny. The lamb was really chewy. Wasn’t impressed overall.

First time we’ve ordered from here and doubt we will again. Ordered a mushroom rice and it was absolutely horrible. It was like the mushrooms had been coated in some cold dried spice powder ( hard to explain) which tasted vile. We took the mushrooms off but the rest of the rice just tasted of it. The madras was nice and had a nice kick to it but ultimately all we could taste was the horrid mushrooms.

Food was ok. Had better. Chicken was tasteless. Doubt I’ll order again.

Portion sizes smaller. Curries used to be served in large container & rice in smaller one. Tonights curry came in a small container which the rice would normally be served in. Cant fault taste or quality of food it was very nice but the value for money has gone down when other takeaways still providing bigger portions 🤔..

Very good, I prefer the Chicken Pari with Mushrooms to the Salmon Curry that I ordered today. However, the chips were stunning as usual!

The best food in Barnsley. Has been for years! The quality and the quantity of meat in the curry was perfect as usual. I have sampled every takeaway Indian there is to offer locally, over the years and Chilli restaurant stands head and shoulders above the rest.. Has done for years.. Excellent service!

The currys were good, however the peshwari Naan was inedibly burnt. The onion bhajis were cold hockey pucks. There is no way that these have been made fresh. Disappointed.

It was an ok meal but nothing to write home about. Avoid the onion bhaji - they were soggy with no texture.

Food arrived very quickly and was piping hot, really friendly delivery driver. No items missing and everything was really delicious, generous portions. Will definitely order from here again.

I've ordered from Chilli before and always been happy with my order. This time was no different, the food arrived very quickly and was hot and tasty. I tried something different this time, a Murgh Akbari and it was awesome. It says it's cooked with fresh fruit but I didn't expect to find actual strawberries in it! The strawberries weren't overpowered by the curry, you could actually taste them and they went really well with the curry, which I was surprised by. I'll definitely order this again.

Orderd via takeaway. The Saag curry was nice in Combination with the garlic naan. Garlic naan could definitely be better of utilised garlic butter instead of garlic granules. Overall pleasant enough to order again.

The curry was ok(sweet and not especially spicy) but if you're going to sell disgusting soggy wedges instead of chips advertise them as that. A complete waste of my money and I won't be ordering from you again.

Very bland meals. We ordered a Balti and a Tikka Masala and they both tasted exactly the same, very bland. The garlic bread was like cardboard and lacked any garlic I’m afraid.

We ordered takeaway collection from here last night and honestly couldn’t recommend it less. The food was as though it had been cooked in the morning and then cling filmed (our starter actually was cling filmed)! We ordered the Friday Ruby Murray special and it really did feel that because it was a deal, it had all been pre-cooked. Despite collecting it was cold and had to be reheated when we got home. The food had no flavour, with the tikka masala tasting like it just had a ton of tomato soup in it for the sauce! I can’t comment on the dining in experience, but would 100% recommend avoiding takeaway from here. Re the owners reply below —- we collected the order bang on time, and did not collect later than advised on their order confirmation!! Excellent example of not taking ownership and putting the blame on the paying customer 🙄 if you can’t provide fresh takeout food, don’t offer it!

Red hot when delivered, nice white chunks of chicken in Bhuna and Balti , lovely fat home made chips very tasty .

Starters were lovely as were the poppodoms and pickle tray. Unfortunately the keema naan had a sour 'off' taste and chemical smell to it leaving it inedible. The curry we ordered was chicken tikka masala, plenty of meat in it, however didn't taste at all like a tikka masala more like a nondescript stew. We also ordered a Murgh Makani this I was told was delicious, again plenty of meat in it.

Wow, fruity curry but not what you think, you have try it to understand. Good quality chicken, big pieces and plenty of it!

Delicious! Piping hot when delivered, could tell it was cooked fresh. Portion sizes are good and the prawns were massive.
