China Flavour in Wakefield

Well, myself and 2 of my grandchildren have just had THE MOST AMAZING TAKEAWAY from yourselves. It was well worth the wait. It was piping hot, very tasty and plentiful. Thank you for the experience, I will certainly be ordering again and recommending to friends and family.

The food was really nice, I’ll definitely order again.

Unfortunately my usual Chinese takeaway was closed so I had to order from here and I will never again. The food was so oily and sickening, tasted old and unfortunately my partner was unwell all night and morning, it’s sad to see as the service was lovely however the food was not it and is awful.

The onion rings were absolute rubbish, don’t know how they dare charge that for frozen breadcrumbed shop bought onion rings, we binned them

the delivery driver was extremely helpful

Found plastic bits in my curry. Never order from here again. Made a complaint and heard nothing

3rd time getting it from here very tasty I would definitely recommend the salt and pepper box the driver who brought it was pleasant thank you for a nice meal

Just had our first curry from here and it was really nice 👌🏻 came hot big portions and the prawn toast was amazing

I usually give good reviews for china flavour but the delivery men are useless, they lie and mistreat loyal customers. A great take away ruined by sh×t drivers. They've lost a loyal customer and I won't be recommending to anyone again.1/10

This used to be my favourite place to order from but the quality has declined drastically. The starters were tastier than the main dish. Noodle boxes were flavourless and soaked in grease, went straight in the bin.

Long delivery time but with the wait, food was very nice. Spent £34 and no free prawn crackers though!

I am not happy I ordered from Freddie's and the order was instantly cancelled but you took my payment and I haven't received it back..

roast duck in plum sauce is lovely, rice is nice and fluffy. spring rolls always crispy + salt & pepper dishes are just the right amount of heat. thank you for the nice meal x

90mins for delivery is shocking. When it came fried rice was clumpy and wet somehow. Thai red curry was watery and flavour less. I've never left a review before but wanted to warn others. It is shocking to pay £40 for 2 people to throw half of it away. I will never use just eat again unless they actually do something about it.

No prawns in combo box as advertised

New management recently so ignore reviews older than several months - as you can see all the recent reviews since last summer are positive. Kindest staff, value for money (especially the set meals), quick service and food is great. Deserves more than 3.0 on Google.

When I ask for no veg and twice now it’s been sent with veg. It’s had to go in bin due to allergies. I’ve always ordered from these with no problems but last 2 times.

Order never received when I've ordered 18:47 and nothing came till 21:37 when I called them they said is just got ready I asked them to cancel the order as its been away too long

I am yet to receive my food! It was meant to arrive by 8.50 and it’s now 8.50. I have called the the restaurant 60 times and no answer but yet then it keeps being engaged! Absolutely disgraceful!!!!

Ordered food 2 hours earlier, no delivery, even though app said delivered, tried to contact Chinese Flavour, no text back, tried ringing, always engaged. just-eat help "we'll get back to you in a couple of days" Don't place an order with this takeaway, you'll never receive it! Don't rely on just-eat help, they don't!

We still haven't received our food after 1 hour 40 phone the company they said they have just started cooking could be another 40 mins or of you don't like it cancell the food Now food has arrived after over 2 hours of waiting to being g cold and parts missing

Amazing food, have had a variety of dishes on several occasions and have never had a bad meal from here. Definitely recommend, visitors often request we order from there too so it's nationally appreciated!

Sadly, luke warm….and the fried rice was dark brown it was so over cooked….prawns like rubber. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t use again.

Great quality food and very fast delivery

Over an hour late (that is not just an hour to arrive but over an hour after the stated delivery time - well over 2 hours in total). Cold (not even tepid) on arrival, soggy and spongy, On ringing them to enquire where the food was I was just fobbed off - they just wanted me off the line. Presumably to take more orders (i.e. money) from soon to be disappointed customers.

driver just more or less threw them at me and walked away. they were more or less cold. will not be ordering from here again unless i’m collecting

The chow mien was spicy, too spicy in fact & I couldn’t eat it. I’ve never had a chow mien that was spicy so not sure what that was about but I’m definitely not a fan. The chips were really greasy as well so didn’t eat them either. What a complete waste of money, I’ll not be ordering again.

Food was 40 minutes later than the latest time on the time range (1hr 50mins after i placed the order). Consequently the food was lukewarm. No apology from the takeaway when i rang them, no apology from the driver. No doubt they’ll blame the weather but given the China Flavour is 3 miles away that simply doesn’t wash with me. Very disappointing. Will be sure tell my friends.

Great food every time, almost always deliver earlier than expected, delivery driver friendly and doesn’t bray the door down like most other delivery drivers.

Food was ok, but cold by the time I received it. I booked a delivery slot for 18.45, didn't arrive until 20.25. Had to telephone 3 times to ask where order was. Full of apologies, but when you are expecting something at a certain time, it should arrive within a certain time. Got told there was an accident on motorway. Don't think I'll be rushing back in a hurry.

i’ve not received my food yet it says delivered, was some confusion on address but rang and cleared it up with the store and it still hasn’t been delivered yet is marked as delivered

First time ordering from here. Delivery was early can't remember by how long. Food was hot and tasted lovely. Can't fault any of it. My 3 year old enjoyed it too. Will definitely be ordering from here again and will be recommending it to friends and family
