Chiquito in Cheshire West and Chester

We had a lovely service from Amanda when celebrating my partners birthday. Lovely food and atmosphere!

Great service from the lovely Amanda, food was fantastic (I come for the great Ribs but my husband also raves about the chilli burritos. I also have to say that the prosecco is the nicest I've ever tasted its fruity and dry and delicious. Only downside was they had no whiskey on the bar 😪 highly recommended

Very friendly and accommodating staff, the 2 for 1 deal made the food more affordable, and the meals were delicious and flavourful. Only downside was the amount of ice in the mocktails. Other than that, a very enjoyable experience with an upbeat atmosphere.

Gluten meal wasn’t included in the 2 for 1 deal. Plenty of options to eat on all menus. Puddings were amazing! Great atmosphere. Mostly ice in the mocktail drinks- not worth the money. Staff are very friendly. They are accommodating for any changes or issues you may have. Overall lovely meal out.

We regularly come here after a morning shop. Family of 4 and its always a hit. Even for 2 fussy kids. Excellent staff great food.

The first ‘Wandering Wednesday’ of the New Year… Took Hubby Neil and I to Cheshire Oaks, to one of our favourite eateries…. Chiquito’s….. we love this Mexican restaurant. Fresh food, cooked to order, full of flavours and colour! We both had a pot of tea, as this day is so cold with the snow and freezing fog…. Starters: we both had the same: a double stack of tortillas, layered with garlic butter, parsley with mozzarella and oven baked….. thin and crispy, a perfect base…. A simple dish but sooooo tasty. Entrée’s: Neil had a tinga chicken and beef chilli Burrito filled with rice, black beans, salsa, mozzarella, quac, jalapeño cheese sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla, with added volcano sauce to spice it up, the dish was dressed with a side of homemade nachos with sour cream to dip…. Neil also added a side of spicy fries. I had tinga chicken with beef chilli Enchiladas, filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, black beans, baked in the oven with rich tomato sauce, mixed with volcano sauce for that extra little kick and melted mozzarella over the top, with red pickled onions and sour cream…… A side of loaded crisp seasoned fries with chicken, chorizo and melted mozzarella….. All the dishes were perfect, our server today was a lovely lady who has served us previously, Amanda was professional, very courteous and attentive, a total credit to this establishment, many thanks for making our lunch perfect. Also massive complements to the chefs for their beautifully presented, culinary delights! Will we be back? Really! No need to ask!! 100% yes! 13 November 2024 ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I to Chiquito’s at Cheshire Oaks. Starters: Neil had a double tortilla, oven baked layered with melted cheese, garlic butter, parsley and finely chopped red chilli on top, lovely and crisp with no soggy bottom! I had Quesadilla Birria with melted mozzarella cheese, fried onion and shredded beef….. served with a gravy jus. Entrée’s: Neil had Burrito filled with rice, refried beans, salsa, mozzarella, guacamole, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken, beef chilli and hot sauce all wrapped up in a large tortilla, the oven baked, accompanied with homemade tortilla chips and sour cream…..and a side dish of spiced fries. I had Enchiladas, tortillas filled with rice, jalapeño cheese sauce, tinga chicken and Barbacoa beef, baked in tomato sauce, smothered with Monterey Jack cheese, then finished off with sour cream and pink onions. A side dish of loaded nachos, jalapeño peppers, onions, melted mozzarella, sour cream, jalapeño cheese sauce, guacamole and salsa, with chicken and chorizo, tray baked so it all infused! Washed down with a pot of tea each, warmed us cockles as it was a very cold day. Our server was a lovely lady called Amanda, excellent service with a beautiful smile, very polite and attentive, totally professional, a credit to this restaurant, thank you, also many thanks to the chefs, your food was delicious, again thank you. The restaurants all around the ‘Coliseum’ at Cheshire Oaks look very tired and washed out from the outside but we can reassure you that Chiquito’s on the inside is gleaming, very clean, surrounded with very colourful, Mexican shades in the decor, truly beautiful inside and the food is OUTSTANDING, as always…… Will we go back? Most DEFINITELY!!!

Sorry but there's not much flavor considering it's a mexican grill. Not worth the price but big servings. Servers were lovely and friendly.

I enjoy this restaurant alot. Even though it's been super busy due to christmas they have always been attentive and lovely and the food has been really good quality.

Malam! Was absolutely exceptional, went absolutely above and beyond for me and partner. I had really fussy order, loads of extras he made sure everything was on point and perfect. Couple issues with the bill but again he sorted perfectly. Serve with a smile, definitely be back only if he’s our waiter again 👏🏼 it’s not often I’m impressed with the quality of service from a chained restaurant. Thanks Chiquitos and Malam. The food is really nice and nice people

My girlfriend and I decided to pop into Chiquitos Cheshire Oaks for an impromptu bite to eat. We eat here fairly regularly and enjoy the food. Today decided a light bite so grabbed a small starter each and then shared the fajita main. Asked for a second plate as we said we were going to share but instead they split the wraps into separate servings and also provided us with our own separate bowls of guacamole, soured cream, salsa and cheese. Really above and beyond as we would have just been happy with a second empty plate! Super friendly and quick service from Malam (Sorry if I've spelt that wrong) always had a smile on his face and seemed genuinely appreciative of the tip that was left. It was his service that prompted us to leave this review!

A bit expensive but...one day is one day, right?

I am a fan of Chiquitos in Cheshire Oaks. Every visit is always pleasant. The food is gorgeous and the staff never fail. Chelsea was waiting on me and my friend today and she was an absolute star. Ate at Cheshire oaks. Service was brilliant especially the waitress Olivia who did a beautiful job, was very patient with the children and even gave us some water for the dog. It’s staff like that that means we’ll be back thank you 😊

Popped into chiqs for some dinner with my partner, where I was severed by Chelsea. The service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent as per usual.

Not been for many years because portion sizes had gone poor and cost through the roof. However I was pleasantly surprised on return food was great waiter was fantastic with the children. They had some hip hop music going on not really the vibe of a mexican restaurant.

Food was tasty and big portions but staff were overwhelmed and overworked so big waits for food and service. Waitress was amazing not her fault. Staff were busy with take out orders while customers food were left in the pass going cold.

Grim very grim ordered veggie nachos for starter was served 20mins later with chicken nachos. Not good for a vegetarian. Had to go and find the waiter who was busy chatting at the galley pass with chefs to actually hand them to her and complain about the chicken nachos mix up. Oh sorry she said I brought the wrong one. Easily done eventually go correct starter it was cold. Could only score food with 1 star as I had to to write review I would of awarded 0 stars if I could food for main course was dire. Veggie fajitas were just all onion and very little else. A waste of money for all 3 of us. We learn through our mistakes.

This was my first time visiting the area and wanted to grab a bite to eat after a long day at Chester Zoo. Me and my partner had Chelsea as our server who is honestly a credit to your restaurant. Her and all of the staff were very welcoming, attentive and bubbly. The whole experience we both felt relaxed and comfortable.
