This cafe is a little gem. The menu is varied and the staff do their utmost to provide you with mouth watering combinations of meals. Extremely passionate about their food and take the time to explain recipes, ingredients and sources The food is very good, freshly cooked and mainly home made.

This cafe has a great number of food options and should cover almost every taste. There are 4 main breakfast options and also you make up your own! One of the best sausages I have had at a cafe for breakfast. Would recommend!

This is a proper British café without being just another dreary greasy spoon. The menu is more varied although you can still get a proper fry-up; I personally go for the hot sandwiches and wraps at least once a week with work colleagues. The staff are all very friendly and always make you feel welcome. Nothing feels particularly overpriced and in fact I would say offers pretty good value for money.

I do like the breakfasts here . A great english cafe serving quality ingredients no cutting corners with cheap sausages or imitation tomato ketchup like alot of cafes in the area. Id Definatly recommend this cafe to everyone. They have a good range of food on the menu and the staff are always welcoming.

We had an amazing New Year’s Eve at The Bell Inn in Horndon! From the moment we arrived, the warm, welcoming atmosphere of this traditional country pub set the tone for a fantastic evening. With its crackling open fires, charming historic feel, and friendly staff, it was the perfect place to celebrate. The food was absolutely delicious, with a well-thought-out menu showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert cooking. The service was attentive and friendly, making the night even more special. The entertainment was brilliant, creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere – the perfect balance for a New Year’s celebration. But The Bell Inn isn’t just great for special occasions – their legendary Sunday lunches and themed events are hugely popular too, and for good reason! Whether you’re stopping by for a casual meal or a big celebration, this place always delivers on great food, great service, and a truly authentic pub experience. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

20 St. John's WayWe look after the owners dog here at Essex Vets. The owners provided us with pie and mash as a treat .. it was STUNNING .. we shared throughout the building and now everyone is planning to take a trip from South Woodham Ferrers to Corringham .. it's going to be worth it! THANK YOU so much for bringing us a sample, 100% recommend! All the team at Essex Vets
