Lovely atmosphere, we were served by Kieron and he helped us with everything we needed.

Genuinely the best burger i've ever eaten! There is no beating it. No better place to eat in Canterbury

Fast food type restaurant the burgers are good and the fries too, as you would expect from a fast food restaurant. The value for money is correct, nothing more. If you want to eat a hearty meal at a reasonable price this is a very good place. The milkshakes are delicious.

We opted for an early dinner before heading back home so we were one of only two or three tables dining, but as the room is quite small I would definitely recommend booking ahead. From what we could tell, the burger options changed fairly frequently so it's good to see that there are different flavour combinations available. We opted for the trashy tray which was plenty for the two of us and we left feeling pretty full! The milkshake was really tasty and both burgers were deliciously cooked although the cheesy sauce on the chips was a bit disappointing (we felt it didn't really taste of anything) and we felt like the bacon bits should have been crispy, but these are minor issues. Just a note too that the bathroom is upstairs, not sure if they have an accessible one, and was quite a narrow walkway so something to bear in mind if you have mobility issues.

We’ve been coming here for years, the food is amazing and the staff are always really friendly and give great service.

Hired the cinema room. Great food and milkshakes, and excellent value. The service was excellent too, especially when they had the stairs to contend with!

I had a great time at Chuck and Blade Canterbury. The food is always great and Kerry, the manager, really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her friendly and attentive approach made the experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

I went to this place attracted by the "two for Tuesday" promotion in which you can order two hamburgers and pay for one, and without a doubt it seemed like a success, because both the attention of the girl who took my order and the atmosphere of the place were very good. Regarding the food, I tried the in and out burger and a portion of poutine, and I really liked both. I definitely recommend it.

I wish this was in my town it would be my favourite place. fantastic food and drink great atmosphere at a great price. what more is there you could want!

Arthur provided me with quick and efficient service today. Came in a bought a milkshake and he was very eager to make my order feel complete. A beautiful brown-haired girl was also helpful but i was unable to catch her name. Great food l. Great service. 5/5

The food was absolutely amazing and incredibly filling. Kieron was an amazing server, with a smile on his face always and created a calm and relaxed atmosphere to a place already so beautiful.

Absolutely love it at chuck and blade Canterbury, this is my favourite restaraunt!! Me and 2 of my friends had the pleasure of being served by Kieron! He was very friendly, reminded us of the 2 for 1 burger deal, made us laugh and just all round was a great asset to the team in Canterbury. Literally still having dreams about the fries two years later....

Was very disappointed at the food here. They clearly make an effort with the meat burgers, but the veggie ones were poor. The bun was hard, as was the burger, cheese wasn't melted where as the meat one was. It really didn't taste nice either. Weather spoons was better than this for veggie burgers unfortunately. The presentation was also poor, we wouldn't return, even though my husband's burger (chicken) was nice. Staff were very friendly and attentive though.

Made the portions so small the burgers are now 12£ + for a kids portion.

What a wonderful place to come with family friends or a little date, was greeted warmly by a handsome man named Alex covered in his lightsaber tattos, what a great place to come i will be back, Kieran helped me with my allergies and showed me with patience what I can and can’t order, what a hero!

After a poor experience a week ago my wife and I decided to give here another try. The service was much better this time round and the food was absolutely fantastic. Best burgers we've had in a long time. Sadly the milkshake machine was out of commission but that just gives us another reason to come back.

Came in for a takeaway and was met graciously with amazing service. Gemma and Alex had stopped their conversation to talk to me and felt very welcome. Very pleased with the service and food was incredible

Ordered on here through deliveroo only took 25mins to cook and arrive, though by the time my food had arrived everything was cold, the whole order, the only thing I was able to consume was the milkshake, the burger was inedible and was cold, the meat was old and you could tell by the fact it started to bubble, the bun was soaked to the point there was liquid dripping out and was completely wet, we ordered halloumi fries and chicken tenders which were both also completely cold as well as are fries which were also cold. To pay almost £50 for this is absolutely disgusting and would advise people against ordering from here.

I had a fantastic evening with my mom at this restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind. We were served by Finn, who was incredibly helpful and kind, enhancing our overall experience. The food was delicious—we went with the In-N-Out burger and the brisket gravy burger, both of which were amazing. The side of chips was perfectly crunchy, too! Just a heads up the food was a-bit on the salty side so keep that in mind! Overall, I highly recommend this place for a great meal and friendly service.

Had an enjoyable meal with the family here. Food was extremely tasty, service was great and we all left with full bellies and good cheer.

Travelled up from Brighton..had no idea where we were going to eat. Stumbled across this place and all I can say is wow!! Kieron was amazing and so helpful, the whole feel of the place was perfect and the food was the best burger we've ever had ( even the teenagers said it and they don't normally say much at all)

Great atmosphere and enjoyed the food too. Arthur was attentive as our server and a great playlist, could’ve spent hours just in a really cool atmosphere!

Staff were friendly enough, food pretty good. Drinks prices are absurd (over £3 for a small bottle of diet coke). My biggest issue is that a 10% service charge was added to our bill. I could understand that if you are serving a large group on a busy night. NOT a table of 2 in a nearly empty restaurant. You're just profiteering for the sake of it. It's a shame as your burgers are pretty decent. Won't be back until the service charge is removed.

The Big Charlie burger is unbelievable. It was so delicious. I loved the pickles. The fries were excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Special thanks to Kieron, who took the time to answer my questions and helped me to decide as it was my first time there (It won't be the last for sure 😊). The atmosphere was nice. I will come back soon to try the other burgers.

I’m a regular here and every visit i am blown away. The burgers are to die for, my favourite being the Fiery Fagin. Great selection of sides and always something new to try. The halloumi fries are unreal and we can never visit without ordering poutine fries. The restaurant and staff are amazing with special shout outs to chef Lenny and Kerry FOH. Always a very friendly and fast service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to get their chops dirty and experience what a proper burger tastes like!

Best Burgers in Cantebrury for sure! I got a recommendation from a friend and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Great burgers! Great service! I believe it was Kerry that took care of us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even when the restaurant was so busy. I’ll be sure to come back next time I’m in Cantebrury

Mediocre smash burger. Bun was dry. Meat was limp. Wanted to have a good burger but will have to continue my search. Also, we ordered single patty and were involuntarily upsold the double as burgers arrived at our table with double patties. Not sure if this was a mistake or something more sinister. #neveragain

Lovely food. Great service from the well informed friendly staff (noticed that we were eating vegetarian burger and advised about fish oil in one of our tasty dishes. Xcellent choice for meat eaters and veggies. Would highly tecomend Truffle tater tots. Good portions and doggy bag required!!!

Good food but… 40 minute wait for our food ( we were warned but still ) service was horrendous, asked for water, tissues and sauce 3 times and had to go ask myself and then they dared add service charge of £10 to my bill and ask why I wanted it off. Girl who served me was told not to add onions to my burger and she did. The food was good but lacked that umphf but I’d go back as long as the service wasn’t terrible. Shame as it wasn’t the waiters fault as he seemed overworked. Clearly a management issue at the Canterbury branch. Please reevaluate yourselves and do not condemn your staff for your mismanagement of resources. If you’re considering this place, go across the street to drapers arms, superior chicken wings.

Popped in for their 2 for Tuesday deal as a Family. Tasty, freshly cooked food, thick milkshakes with friendly, smiling staff

Disappointing. One of us had beef, one had chicken and both were overcooked. Waited near the door for over five minutes before anyone came to speak to us. Service was a little better after that. Felt as if we were in the way of people walking in and out, especially the 427 delivery drivers that came through while we were there. Pretty dull atmosphere and place generally looked messy and untidy. Might try a different branch as the options on the menu were pretty good.

Very good burger, at better end of scale for all the luxury burgher joints you see popping up these days though Poutine fries dish was a bit on salty side for myself, if you are someone who believes more is better or you just want an indulgent takeaway then this is probably place for you. Bonus points for salad in burgher being fresh, also staff seemed friendly. Would have given 4-5 stars but wanted to try place a second time on a drive by collection, they don't take orders on phone but said if I order online it will be ready in 10 mins which sounded good, did order online and then found I can't confirm order as it says no time slots available, couldn't be bothered with ringing again to talk over, if your going to direct customers to online order system make sure it works 100 per cent. Last time we used it we had glitches then as well. Decided to go elsewhere for time being and write this up instead as I'm getting grumpy as I age and the hunger probably does not help.

The burger was average not that great, the total bill came around 80 quid, value for food was not worth it, the bun was just not good for the burger. Overall an average burger.

A place where the burgers are done right. I've been twice and I don't recall the decor or if there was music although there is a TV looping something near the bar. The staff are always pleasant and greet you with a smile and look after you. My experiences are from a Friday night and a Saturday night at differing times but in both cases the initial table service was a little slow. Although you can't rush good food I'd be interested to see if the turnaround from sitting down to paying the bill could be sped up. Tables can then be turned quicker and hungry customers get their food quicker

As a group we tried a variety of the burgers and were pretty happy with all of them! Loaded fries were ok but toppings were limited. Milkshakes were strong and a decent price.

Went to restaurant.. completely empty. Was told there would be 45 minute wait for food even though it was completely empty. Would appear the wait would be due to deliveroo etc. might as well just be a delivery outlet. Walked straight back out

Had a meal at the ramsgate restaurant Saturday night , food was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. Have recommended it to all my family . Will be going back

Sharing feast for two is great value for money

I favourite burger place, maybe forever. I've found my taste in Cluck Norris Burger. Saucy, tangy, a bit spicy, and filling. It's best with chips on the side.

Excellent service, very average food.

I love chuck and blade. They make excellent hamburgers, their milkshakes are to die for and their tots and fries are delicious. Their service staff are great, always up for a bit of a laugh and never leave you waiting too long. My only slight reservation is I'm sensitive to noise and there are often groups drinking a lot in the restaurant so they're a bit noisy, but that's not the fault of the restaurant owners or staff at all. I just don't drink. I would highly recommend Chuck and Blade if you're looking for a great smash burger, especially if you're into milkshakes. I am lactose intolerant and I am willing to play fast and loose just for their strawberry milkshake. I really miss the macaroni cheese they had when they first opened - if they could bring it back as a special I would be so happy!

We got home delivery and, to be honest, it was very disappointing. I had heard good things about Chuck and Blade but the three hamburgers (meaty) were below average. The trashy tray was smaller than expected and they forgot part of the order. They had also forgotten to remove one of the ingredients from the burgers. I wouldn't recommend it for home delivery

Given it enough tries Now (take away not sit in) I'm not being fussy I just know these losers who cannot cook are overrating places like always. Would it kill you guys to season your meat. SO BLAND and too pickle focused. Everything tastes like gherkins and it's gross. Won't be ordering again. Wasted another £50 yesterday. The food was Cold, bland and just not worth it. If we can make frozen burgers at home and the taste is better then that's saying a lot. Non processed foods will always be better but not at that price point when you literally have dishonoured the meat. Salt and pepper! Use it. I had Chicken partner had Beef. Both tasteless. Don't feel bad though I Think majority of the highly rated places are like this.. their food is bland bland bland. For eg the Foundry another disappointment. I just think it's down to most people not having a clue of what actually tastes nice and then restaurants fall into this pseudo Delusion that they are doing things perfect. Time to stop eating out I think. It's always a disappointment

This is a staple for our house! We always order from here it’s literally the only food we’ll get in as a treat. It’s proper dirty food but without leaving you feeling like dirt. Really decent portions, you’re most definitely left satisfied. The quality is SO consistent we never have a bad order and they never forget anything. We’ve eaten at the restaurant too and the staff are always so friendly and service is quick too! We like sitting outside when the weather allows it cause you just have to appreciate the location it’s such a lovely part of towns. Cannot fault it, we love this place <3

First time food was all cold, offered a voucher to try again. Food was better but still not great, pork was cold and chips were flash fried with no flavour to anything overall. Staff were great

The food is always incredible, me and my partner have tried almost every burger now and every one has been soo good. The price isn't too bad especially on 2for1 Tuesdays. The milkshakes are nice and thick and very tasty 10/10 would recomend

I came in the other day and had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! I was served by a lovely Waitress called Gemma. She was so helpful and smiley and made my experience so amazing. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family!
