Good place to have an English Breakfast. Clean and welcoming space with plenty of seating and food options

A cafeteria like any other, cheap breakfast, the coffee is good and the sandwiches too. The treatment of the waitresses a little to be desired by one who was wearing headphones and ignored you and treated you in a derogatory manner.

The food was good, but the treatment of the waitresses was horrible, they didn't talk to you, they just looked at you badly

Plenty of choice of coffees and drinks. Friendly and helpful staff.

Had a iced latte. Was very sub par. Coffee wasn't the best tasting. Atmosphere also not the greatest. Lot of customers sat outside smoking, creates an unpleasant experience.

Impressive choices from hot/cold ruby chocolate, pistachio freezers to fine teas at Coffee Republic at Whitechapel. They also do NHS discounts.

Absolutely love it here. I come with friends before work every Thursday for a catch up. The service, drinks and atmosphere is great. Jui is always so friendly and knows our order off by heart by now!

5 stars for an absolutely delicious cafe latte! I have to say it was the best coffee I purchased in this area so far. Milk temperature and texture spot on, great flavour! Nice one (from former barista and coffee lover!)

My sister and I had a wonderful time. The coffee was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We were served by two lovely and friendly staff by names Aya and Jui. They gave us a nice service with a constant smile on their face. We will definitely be back here the next time we are in the area.

Given me the WRONG panini for the second time (and I’ve only been there twice), please ensure you remember what panini is in the white bag you’ve just put it in and call out the same right panini when giving it to customers. If it is too hard, write it on the paper bag!! Chicken is not cheese!!

I really enjoyed my iced americano here, honestly some of the best black coffee I have had in a long time, they definitely prioritise quality here. Nice space available for working and friendly staff, I would definitely come back again! Well priced as well for the area!

Very good both food and service.

Caffè Easy for an unpretentious breakfast but a clean environment, friendly staff and honest prices. You can go safely. The only complaint is that the service is a little slow.

Friendly staff and fast service, even though there were ten minutes left before closing, they treated us very well. The chocolate was very good but the cappuccino was a bit weak in coffee.

Coffee always tastes so good here and is prepared with care. Such friendly staff, spotless interior, and cheaper than other chains - this is my favourite coffee shop in London, and one I always make special effort to return to when I'm back in the city. Also a great journaling place

American tourist recovering from emergency surgery at London Royal Hospital. The food here is okay but not a lot of variety so I thought I would test my barely working legs and get some takeaway. First problem is I had no cash or credit cards so I needed to use Apple Pay - no problem, Coffee Republic is properly wired. Second, I’m walking in off the street with a kind of unsteady gait wearing pajama pants, would they even let me in? No problem, smiles all around. I bought a really delicious caprese sandwich for one meal and a chocolate croissant for another, along with some fruit juice. Took it back to my room and had it for lunch and dinner, quite delicious. The sandwich was meant to be heated before being eaten but I didn’t really have an option for that so just packed it in cold, and was happy. No reason this place should get anything other than five stars. If I could make one improvement I’d like to see a better selection of fruit juices. Maybe they were there and I just couldn’t see them. Anyways tiny storefront, not much seating inside, less outside, so this needs to be your takeaway spot. Should have gotten a coffee because reviewing a coffee shop on food only is a little lame, but man I am still really whipped from my surgery. Sorry!

Love CR coffee. It's strong with a lovely strong coffee taste. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They offer NHS discount. Great friend atmosphere and comfortable seating.

It's a coffee place, I like the fact they offer discount to the NHS employees. It's truly the little things that make a big difference in service.

Best coffee shop in Whitechapel Specially toilet are very tightly and clean. If you want to referring yourself with a cup of coffee and do something on laptop or mobile you should go this coffee shop, highly recommend this place.

Worst customer service - especially one girl keeps showing her attitude to customers. If you want to have a bad morning then go there.

I asked them for a drink with lactose and they didn’t want to give it to me! Just because i had asked for a milk alternative before!! and then changed my mind into having milk. That’s just ridiculous! They even said thank you when I left without serving me the milkshakes no matter what. 😂🙂👍

Lovely big mugs of coffee. Very nice toastie sandwiches also. Ok, maybe try the almond croissants too 😁 Discounts for postal workers, NHS and London Underground staff. Ensure to ask for the discount.

Great coffee place, good prices

Prices are phenomenal. They’re cheap. The toastie I choose was very tasty. Coffees were great. I needed to bite a few from the muffin for the taste to come through but once it happened it was nice. It wasn’t exceptional that’s why I give 4 stars instead of 5 but it was great.

Ordered beans on toast. Staff didn’t start making it until 30 minutes after I ordered.

Amazing customer service! Everything halal !! My latte didn't need sugar it was sweet enough and tasted of a good quality coffee. I work in the Royal mail delivery office , being new, I didn't know we posties recieve discount however the man at the counter kindly offered this to me , which is rare in this day and age to be appreciated. Thankyou for your excellent customer service. Highly recommended this cafe.

This supposed to be the "Full English Breakfast " for £8.. You don't get any sausages, mushrooms, hashbrowns or fries.. if you want to add extras hashbrowns £1 each.. tasteless food.. its a ripoff..

We stopped here for drinks whilst my friend was in the Royal London and it was really nice. The fruit frappes were seriously good. Friendly staff and clean.

Seriously, this must be the dirtiest branch I have been to. The place looked tired and worn, staff looked unkempt, there were flies sitting on the pastries, as no cover on it. When I pointed it out to them, they moved one pastry and resumed serving customers with rest of it. There was a staff member prepping sandwiches in the back room, which was open, I observed she had no gloves on. It was awful.

Full English breakfast price at £6.99 you get what’s in the picture, no sausage, no hashbrown, no mushrooms, no chips plus a cup of coffee that’s half full of foam. Furthermore the food tasted awful & I felt nauseous.

One of the best coffees I've had.

At a time when hygine couldn't be more important I found this place to be one of the most cleanest shops around Whitechapel. Every table, chair and floor was cleaned after service, not even the big brand names do that nowdays to be honest. Warm and clean Cafe with a good selection of drinks and food. I certainly enjoyed the friendly service and my hot cuppa chocolate with cookies.

Went with my wife for a morning brunch ordered full English for myself, wife had chicken tikka panini with a regular latte, we both enjoyed it. Perfect place after dropping kids to school.

They offer a 10% to the local school which is a bonus

Staff are very friendly and really nice but food is less than average. Their Sandwiches used to be better. In general good place to set and have a drink while you are around Whitechaple hospital

Walked in for a take away coffee and strawberry mocha. Staff was friendly. Strawberry mocha not enough cream or chocolate sauce. I asked the member of staff serving. Apparently it sank in! If proper cream was topped up then it wouldn't sink. Coffee latte was tasteless even after asking for double shot. Ordered Victoria's sponge cake and this was dry and hard as anything. Clearly has been sitting in the display for too long and definitely not fresh! Very disappointed! Not sure if I will be back.

The latte was terrible. They gave me cheap coffee with a lot of water and a foam with huge unattractive made-of-water bubbles like from cheap coffee machines. As a coffee fan must say this place is a disaster. Almost vomited.

Very clean, bright, and the staff is very polite and kind. Particularly appreciated that my hot chocolate wasnt boiling host as it is the case elsewhere. I was offered to wash the apple just bought for my son, which is nice gesture. The place itself is modern, very clean, and confortable. Good choice of food and drinks, and normal prices. Will come back for sure!

Went to Coffee Republic the other day and ordered a cappucino. I was very disappointed with the cappuccino it had no flavour and was very weak. Nescafe from a jar was much better than this.

If I could give no stars I would. I love the coffee Republic chain, but this store is the worst one I have ever stepped into. Completely disregarded what I was saying about my order. Very rude and disrespectful. Didn't tell me that they were out of white hot chocolate, gave me regular instead. Manager argued with me and would not set it right. Will never step foot in this shop again.

Great coffee shop with qualitative and tasty coffee!! Love coming here! The staff are polite, friendly, helpful and prompt. They look after me well and I feel valued as a customer. I totally recommend this place to everyone working in the area. Also, I love the fact that it is quite quiet when I visit and don't have to queue for long.

We went to the Hackney branch for breakfast. We wanted the 5 Pound special of a toastie and coffee but were 20 min early. So they served us amd said to pay after so the 20 minutes could elapse. That's service. The coffee was good and toastie also more than acceptable. And at a great price.

Nice place, use it for meetings sometimes. Near the tube station, , average prices and coffee is decent enough. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. Happy to visit again.
