Great pub excellent staff and great atmosphere all round

Used to live around here an sister remembered the pub it's busy little pub fab decorations clean an tidy but had to wait over an hour for food though my sister didn't eat hers Sunday dinner only the Yorkshire pudding eaten didn't like the potatoes an said veg was hard shame really good for drinks good match on tv friendly staff not too far from oldham

Patrick and his team are faultless. The pub is always very clean and his Halloween decorations were the best I have seen. The food is gorgeous and there is always a good atmosphere and it’s great for kids.

We ventured into this place not knowing what to expect.Certainly not poker,blackjack and roulette tables! Not a good experience as you buy your chips ,play the games but if you win you just get more chips. You cannot cash out! Also the table running is very hit and miss table closing in 20 minutes then suddenly turning to five minutes. Apparently this was the first night for this event and should be the last!

Great local pub! New landlord has brought a younger vibe to the place and works so hard to make sure everyone of his customers is happy, especially the locals who have been coming here years! The staff are good too, always trying to keep up during busy periods so your not waiting long to get served. Lots of offers on and a wide variety of different drinks wander cocktails. Happy place to be!

Was in here on Thursday evening, service was lovely, and beer was even better, the locals let us join in, in a game of killer which I thought was great.

Came in here for a few drinks with friends, the customer service was lovely lots of great drink options and the music made the atmosphere great.

Had lunch in here today. Food was really great for the price, salt and pepper chips are amazing. Will definitely be back in to try out the Christmas menu

Came in here for a quiet drink with my girlfriend, was a very nice setting, didn’t order food this time but will definitely be giving it a go next time, as the food looked lovely

Stopped in for a quick drink Pub was decorated for Halloween. Always a nice friendly pub. Will call in again for food if available.

Smashing little pub with huge outdoor seating and play area for the kids... A must for them hot summer days 🌞🌞 Great hospitality from Jonn'o (manager) The pub as you can see from the photos is bright, clean and inviting and offers pool, Darts, live sports and additionally live bands and Karaoke 🎶🎵🎤 Very charitable locals judging by the huge donation to Dr Kershaw's Hospice (Well done to all those Guys and Gals who took part) 😎

Family run pub, good pub food, good range of lagers and gins.

Great experience overall. I've been there for a football charity event which was very nice of them to host. The food is delicious and not overpriced, the drinks are way cheaper than other pubs. Add to that the lovely service.

Wow I used to go in here all the time a few years back . I went to visit friends in oldham last weekend went in here that atmosphere was fab the singer great . Only problem was the vile rudeness off the male bar tender . He was well amd truly awful which of course puts me off ever stepping in here again .. other than that the place was really enjoyable. I think they may need to think about giving this certain one a written warning because due to his rudeness I imagine you will loose more custom .

Bang average. Small nice local pub environment, friendly staff. Food is average at best and expensive for what it is. Menu is classic British pub food but nothing wrong with that just the quality for what you pay isn’t good. I probably would return for a few drinks some time but not for the food.

Had nice day at the colliers. Good selections of beers. Very friendly staff. I had a roast beef sandwich which went down a treat. They have a good pub grub menu. Plenty of sport on the TVs available. I’d recommend this pub for a good family meal.

Visited the Colliers for a meal for the first time as it is local and on the “eat out to help out”Can’t complement the food enough. Super portions, excellent choice on the £10 menu. Could hardly move after finishing it. Saved me on food the next day too!!!!Will definitely be going again.

The food is nice and relatively cheap. We were there during the middle of the day and it was quite. A nice place to grab a quick pub lunch when in the area.

Visited this pub after i had heard about the brilliant home cooked food, so we ventured out of manchester on the local tram, found the pub very easily, sat down with a few drinks the ordered, i had the rag pudding, omg yummy, brilliant value too

Regular Sunday breakfast, very good.Full breakfast or choice of breakfast sandwiches..Newspapers there etc.Nice clean comfortable pub.Sport on TV regularly, Great offers on beer, spirits etc.Good wholesome food through the week, at good prices.Great beer garden, weather permitting, and children encouraged..All in all a great family pub, would recommend for pub grub.

Called in on Sunday for the Sunday roast ..I can honestly say the food was wonderful more than enough and very friendly staff .... well worth the money ...

My husband and I had lunch at the Colliers we both had a breakfast brunch, the food was of great quality every part of the brunch you could tell were quality ingredients, I noted from the menu all the food was homemade I.e pies, puddings etc... the only down sides were the pub feels a little dated, the menus were a bit grubby just felt like it needed a little TLC, some of the menus had food splashed on etc... also we waited 40 mins for our meal when there were only 2 more people in the pub. However I will return to try something else on the menu, I also think they use social media brilliantly to advertise.All in all a lovely lunch if the few little niggles were sorted it would be a 5*.

I visited the Colliers Arms for some food, the greeting is warm and friendly, the choice of food is very good. I opted for the famous Rag Pudding with chips, mushy peas and grave, it was absolutely delicious. It’s served piping hot and with a smile, a great place for lunch, they take phone orders, if your pushed for time thus is a great option. Well recommended.

We called in to the Colliers Arms , on Old Lane Chadderton for Sunday lunch, it’s a belly buster. We ordered the “Mixed Meat” (beer & chicken). You get a good portion of each, plus 7 vegetable, roast & mashed potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, sage & onion stuffing & lashings & lashings of gravy, and its all home cooked.I can’t recommend it enough, well worth a visit.

We have been here a few times this year and every time the food great, the roast beef is the best I don’t know what she puts in the gravy but wow it’s gorgeous, the kids have the Yorkshire pudding wraps and always take what’s left home they never manage a full one.

Took my grand children Thursday, there doing board games for the kids and BBQ weather permitting every Thursday during school holidays, had a lovely tea and the kids get a free ice cream with there meal. Then we had a game of snakes and ladders, lovely seeing families playing board games, what a wonderful idea, thank you

Food was the perfect temperature, food portion was good for the price (£6.95 most main meal dishes). Special board is great. Didn't have a dessert this time but they've always been great and far better than other places in the area (And beyond!).

Everybody must try the brunch burger amazing u get a breakfast and dinner all in 1 for £6.95 and amazing kitchen staff and amazing bar staff couldn't ask for better service would highly recommend.

An amazing menu, with lots of choices ,even slimming world meals. Access ramp available at the side of the property ,for people with mobility issues. Cash card acceptable for payments. All staff attentive ,locals very friendly. Thank-you.

food is the best in oldham by far, plenty to choose from on the menu and very cheap for the quality of the food you get. Even after our meal we was planning our next trip, definitely worth a visit.

Been on a couple of occasions recently, for food and for evening drinks.

Always come down to the colliers when I want good food without ridiculous prices. The food has never disappointed, Vikki cooks home made, comfort food. Also slimming world friendly. Great service, cheap as chips (pardon the pun) & Just not a single fault with it at all. Definitely my favourite place to eat!

Love this place...fab for kids and the food is just perfect! Staff are also lovely and welcoming. Fave place to meet the family for a good catch up. I would highly reccommend everyone and anyone to go.

Love this pub for a nice lunch. Staff are very friendly and work hard to make you feel welcome. The new menu has lots of choice and within tread of the times. All home cooked and healthy. Pudding are not so healthy but delicious!!!

We took the family to the Colliers Arms for lunch, the welcome was great, 3 of the 6 had the new Yorkshire pudding wrap, there was a choice of chicken or beef, they are definitely man size portions, I had the cheese and onion pie, the pastry was absolutely delicious and the filling had a lovely bite to it. The Yorkshire pudding wrap comes with roast potatoes while the pie comes with chips, excellent meal, excellent home cooked food, would recommend a visit.

The pub has a new menu and with the weather being so bad we decided to try it, and as usual wasn’t disappointed!

Meet every friday when can and always enjoy the friendly atmosphere even when not a lot in.DJ seems to put volume up when try talking to let you know he's there! Other than that no complaints, staff very professional and friendly and join in with the karaoke when can.

We went to the Colliers Arms for lunch, we were not disappointed. The young girl that took our order was friendly and had a wide smile. the food arrived and was piping hot, I opted for the pork, the portion was large, there was 7 fresh vegetables cook to perfection, this was a man size portion that i struggled to finish. Two Sunday lunches for £12, great value, great home cooking, great staff. I have no hesitation in recommending The Colliers Arms.

Myself and a group of friends stumbled upon this place when we arrived in Manchester for a few days and seemed nice. We did feel a bit uncomfortable at first when we walked in with a lot of locals playing poker/card games gave us funny looks and the boys were asked to take of caps and hoodies. Was waiting for them to say take your trainers off next. Seemed odd for a small pub but maybe that's normal up North.

Had many a good night in this place it's always good for the football and they have decent music acts on as well. On Sunny day the beer garden is great and has stuff for the kids to keep busy.

Called in over the school hols n I hav to admit I enjoyed it! Meal, San miguel, n kids enjoyed it too.

Visitar su pub y ahora de nuevo, pero decir que son familia wudnt amable, sólo si los niños están en el jardín de la cerveza y no en el pub. El personal del bar no interesado en niños en el pub.

Fui ayer con mi familia y padre en servicio ley pub bien en chicas jóvenes y la comida era excelente y un montón de opciones y cuando nos dieron la factura nos quedamos impactados por lo barato que era gracias recomendaremos y sin duda volvería

Visitaremos el Colliers todo el tiempo o para una bebida en el sol o comida familiar. La comida es excelente y una gran relación calidad-precio - las raciones son tan grandes que nunca había espacio para budines. A los niños les encanta la zona de juegos, así que siempre entretenidos y todo el personal es muy agradable y amable. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente! ! Le daría más de 5 ** Si pudiera

He visitado su numerosas veces principalmente un domingo por la tarde con los niños. Comida vicky es fantástico parece que siempre para satisfacer las necesidades de todos, desde los niños corriendo fuera de energía fuera de ambiente familiar y encantador para ver el fútbol. Como la comida es genial lo dicho anteriormente y si necesitas algo un poco diferente que siempre tratan de satisfacer sus necesidades.

Esta fue nuestra primera visita a los brazos de Colliers este año, sí, es un pub, pero la comida es de comer comida de pub. La mayoría de la comida se hace en el lugar y es excelente, la pastelería en la carne y cebolla tarta se deshace en la boca y con una variedad de patatas fritas o puré de patatas. Los menús tiene algo para jóvenes y no tan jóvenes, así como 5 o 6 opciones para vegetarianos, también hay "Weight Watchers elección".

Had a lovely Christmas dinner with family Christmas Eve early evening Friendly staff and great service and food. Prices for food and drink cheap as chips Would recommend and definitely be back.

Reservamos un desayuno para ver el derby de fútbol el sábado, un desayuno estupendo y bien vale la pena el dinero, no tengo ninguna queja. El pub estaba lleno de gente y el personal trabajó muy duro, la única queja es que después del partido y el pub se calmaba a poner menús, el personal de la mesa, ya que la comida es anunciado, unos en 12-6 nuestra mesa tenía la salchicha en budín de Yorkshire y chilie con arroz parecía y olía bien, así que buscamos en el menú. Decidimos tomar un plato de setas y nachos seguido por pollo y cazadores de sobresaliente y sólo me dijeron que a las 17.20 que la cocina estaba cerrada para las comidas en el menú pero estaban sirviendo hamburguesas y perritos calientes. Habíamos estado allí temprano para beber todo el día y si quería una hamburguesa me hubiera ido a un bar de hamburguesas, lo siento pero si anuncian hasta 6 debe servir hasta 6. No me impediría su pub como hemos comido allí antes y era preciosa, poner una pega en lo que era un día precioso y iba a ser una noche maravillosa que nos bebimos y nos fuimos a casa.

Homemade food and plenty to choose from. We didn't wait too long and it was very nice. It is also very cheap, cannot wait to go back.

i have used this pub plenty of times over the years. unfortunately the service is not very good anymore. for food its good value and good pub food. the kitchen works as fast as possible and its good food. a former worker of the kitchen used to be very rude when taking orders but i dont think she is there anymore and there are younger friendlier girls that wait on. the pub gets busy for acts on fridays and saturdays and the young female manager always works hard to make sure everyone is served quickly as do on or two others but a couple are more interested in talking to the young lads most of the time and getting their facebook details and phone numbers. lots of potential but some of the staff are terrible. dont expect to be served straight away but dont appreciate stood waiting whilst the barmaids hand out their full names and phone numbers. could tell you a few of their surnames and what their profile pictures are but i wont......
