Was really looking forward to trying the Sebastian cheesecake with the pistachio sauce. I have not had anything as sweet as this in my life after few bites felt so sick the sugar kicking in was so bad. Kids having strawberries with chocolate felt the same. And it’s ridiculously overpriced. Won’t be going back.

Really excellent place for Sunday lunch.

A friend and I who’ve been to the old place many times in the past, and the new ground floor restaurant is lovely. The food and service were as good as ever, and I feel a bit mean only giving 4 stars for atmosphere, but that’s just because it was early lunch. The meat mixed starter platter for two was really good - a real mix of interesting flavours, and surprisingly filling! The mains were exactly what we keep going back for, and the price per person would’ve been about the £30 mark, but I got a nice bottle of wine between us. Marvellous.
