Conquerors March in Hastings

My friends and I come to the Conquerors March for their pub quiz on Mondays. We always have a fantastic time, and the service is great. Particular shout out to Ruby behind the bar who is always friendly and helpful! Thank you :)

My friend Shelagh and I came for Sunday lunch today. I had booked a table online and we had a comfortable table in the centre of the restaurant. We both went for the triple roast option. We had big slices of turkey, beef and pork. Today the seasonal vegetables were peas, mange tout and green beans. My friend had recently had a very stringy lamb at another restaurant but the meat was good here and we both ate everything . The Yorkshire's were big and light. Madison our waitress made sure she double checked about our meals as my friend has an onion allergy. We both treated ourselves to a dessert, caramelised sundae and I had the basque baked cheesecake. Again we both enjoyed our desserts. Good portions but not massive. It was a very pleasant meal and it was my friends first choice when asked where to go in Hastings. We were given a 30% discount off the main dishes but I think the prices were reasonable even without the discount.

Excellent food, friendly efficient service in pleasant atmosphere. Perfect for a meal out with friends. Only one disappointment was half roasted chicken no longer on the menu which was my partners favourite.

Staff curtious food was good came out on time was served hot . Server came back to check if our food was OK. I dine her probably at least 3 times a month .

I've been a frequent customer to Conquerors March for years now, and eversince the new fast chargers were installed even more so, I have seen this place and service mature and jut getting better and better, I have been here when the place is crowded and service is slower than usual but this is not a fast food and the atmosphere and staff are some of the best I have ever encountered in my travels. Keep up the good work and I'll keep beeing a frequent customer.

When this restaurant was just doing the rotisserie it wasn’t that great but now it has signature menus it’s really good and the food is excellent, we are now eating once a week here and before I wouldn’t have eaten once a year.. the manager is brilliant also

A lovely cosy place but very poor quality food. My fish gougons only 3 of them), very oily batter not crispy, peas like bullets and French fries dried like cardboard ! Tomato soup and bread delicious We waited an hour for our food to come out!

The place was amazing. I and my friends can't stop talking about it and the meal was fantastic. The staff@madi was a great girl. She's the best

Festive menu at the Conquerors March, very well priced, great food quality and portions. Friendly staff as always.

A really lovely 'Breakfast with Santa' experience. Service was fantastic considering how busy it was and the drinks and food were all served promptly, hot and of good quality for the price. It was a slight shame that the choices were quite limited but for an event like this, it was understandable for ease of service. Santa and Mrs Claus were really kind and patient when our son went to see them once we'd finished eating and were happy to have a little chat. If we lived closer, we'd visit more regularly.

Boxing Day set meal was lovely. Portions were so much bigger than expected! Madi was our server and was great. We had a few questions throughout our visit and she was quick and responsive each time. Thank you!

Maddie, our server, was very friendly and polite and dealt happily with all our requests. The meals for 5 of our group of 6 were lovely, the sirloin steak for one was doubtful for sirloin and not the best quality. There were good options for vegetarians. We spent between £30/40, but only uploads to £20/30

We managed to find a seat very easily. We used the online system to order out food and drinks. It was very easy to use. The drinks and food arrived in good time. We were not waiting very long considering how busy the restaurant was. I ordered fish & chips. The portion was perfect. The meal was lovely. I have visited a few times over the years and have not always enjoyed my food but there has definitely been an improvement. There was a lively atmosphere too. I would definitely recommend.

I had our firms Xmas dinner with 27 of us ! Everyone had a fantastic time thanks . Food was absolutely lovely 10/10 Chloe and other Staff were very helpful and polite Couldn’t have asked for a better night ! Just brilliant and will definitely be back.

Wonderful Christmas dinner with friends. Roast turkey with all the trimmings and lashings of cranberry sauce topped with Yorkshire pudding. Finished off with home apple and blackberry crumble and custard. Service was impressive very friendly, Professional and attentive. One of the best meals I’ve had in this area.

A very welcoming venue, we we're arriving after an RNLI fund raising event & had booked a table for 10 people but when others heard they wanted to join us. Despite being very busy, we were all welcomed with a smile by the cheerful maitre d & it was no problem accommodating our now doubled in size group. The staff were all exceedingly cheerful, attentive & helpful. The food we ordered with Madi was great value, served quickly & beautifully cooked. Everything we ordered was available. The staff are quite obviously very happy working here & it's testament to the management that the venue itself is very well run & looked smart. A pleasure to visit & without doubt highly recommended.

Went as a group, portions were small, prices high, waiting times rediculosly long, staff were young and lacking experience, one of them kept running to the kitchen saying in earshot of customers "we got a big problem", Some of our orders were forgotten about and last of all... Overcharged us. What on earth has happened to this place?

Great all round place tk visit with family & friends

Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Cole was very polite and checked on a couple of dietary needs quickly and efficiently. The food was very well cooked and promptly delivered even on a busy day. After a second d visit, nothing has changed in the review. A very busy pre Christmas Sunday didn't faze the staff, and all were polite and quick. Good food again, all well cooked.

The food was OK but the mash was very obviously reheated as it had a crust on it. We witnessed one waitress being quite rude to the other! Apparently the coffee machine goes to sleep at 9pm and cannot be woken…very unusual for a food venue open till 11pm, perhaps it should be allowed a lie in every now and then as we didn’t bother to get dessert because of this

Ordered Ribeye steak,two thirds of it was Gristle and Stringy which was left. No merlot Red wine and no Beer I wanted.

We have been to The Conquerers March many times now when we are in the area. The service is, as usual excellent, as is the food and menu choices. The ambience is great and would highly recommend this place for any occasion.

i came up for lunch earlier and was served by isaac amazing food amazing service 10 out of 10 definitely recommend this place

Visted with some friends and two children (one toddler and one baby). Made a reservation as we went on a Saturday. Waitress was lovely, friendly and attentive. Food was good. We all ordered burgers which came with chips and slaw. I would go back to try something else on the menu.

The whole place was heaving yet the staff were on top of things and throughout our stay in the restaurant the server was attentive and efficient. Outrage meals were delicious and what I call full portions where you couldn’t eat another thing. Perfect for family get togethers.
