Conto Lounge in Bournemouth

My husband and I visited this morning for breakfast. Ordered coffee which came after 5 mins. Breakfast arrived 30 mins later by which time we had finished the coffee. (They were not busy at all.)My smashed avocado was chopped with a cold poached egg? I sent it back. They gave me another one. This time it was smothered in so much Harissa you couldn't taste anything else! So disapointing as we have eaten here so often. Is this because the lounges have been sold? Bev

Friendly and relaxed. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Quick, efficient service.

Conto is my regular place to have a laid back chill evening with family or friends. Great food and drinks and amazing service and ambience

Great selection of food available from classics to tapas. Usually busy but not so you cannot find a table. Children are welcome and they have a good children's menu. Food is always served promptly and of a good quality. There is a small space to sit out front but on a nice day the front windows open up giving a nice breeze. Lost track of how many times I pop in for a quick dinner never had a bad experience.

Beer is far to expensive @£6 15 a pint for a keg beer 🍺

Extortionate prices. Imagine paying £16 for a breakfast that don't even come with a cuppa tea, so glad you have your extortionate prices displayed outside tho. Even ya standard breakfast cost too much. You could charge £8 for a standard and £12 for a large and I would eat there everyday. But £16 means I only eat there once every 3 or 4 months. For the record I have tried your breakfast and it definitely isn't worth £16. Went over road to Gregg's. Paid £2.85 for a bacon roll and hot drink. Much better value.

The chicken soup was not fresh and nice at all didn't enjoy at all last time we visited and atmosphere is so nice but ordering and service is too slow. if you are very hungry you need to wait for your meal to get ready and it is more than expected. I don't know if I ever go there again after the last soup 🍲😕

Just a coffee. Ambience, calm, friendly, comfortable. Seems lots of other people think so, busy on a Monday.

Kat was fantastic. She mixes the best coctails EVER.

Harissa Chicken Flatbread. Flatbread was hard. Could barely get the knife in. It tasted of grease. Very skimpy with the chicken and veg. Very heavy with the sauces. I know it was very busy in there 9.11.24 at 1.30pm but more care must be taken with the food. My iced latte was very bitter too. I always have good food at these places but yesterday was grim.

Most of the service was good and even the food we ate was good. The thing that made my experience not so joyful was the fact that they didn't serve any sugar with my coffee and after waiting in queue at the till to get some I was simply told that I take it from other tables. Never came across this type of half service in any cafe or restaurant.

Came here for the Halloween party they held yesterday. Was great fun for the kids, Lee (the host) had them carving pumpkins, drawing monsters and playing games up the front. Food was nice as well, I had the bang bang chicken, wife had some tapas - chicken wings and brisket chilli con carne. The garlic chips were also very nice. All food was spot on and I’d definitely recommend. Some well made cocktails and decent selection of beer on the taps also. We shall be coming here again - highly reccomned.

Amazing gluten free menu and the meals never disappoint! Also recently discovered cheeky Mondays which was a lovely treat. Great staff and atmosphere too :)

These Lounges around the Bournemouth area are good. Staff generally polite and helpful . Good selection of food and drinks though some menu items a little expensive. Caters well for dietary requirements.

Met up with long lost family members, had a great time! In a pleasant atmosphere, food was good and well presented.

This is my go-to place - the atmosphere is always good, the staff are friendly and helpful and always go that extra mile, I have never had an issue with food I've ordered - it's constantly fresh and yummy. The cocktails are also great. I would always recommend Conto

Good food, very nice surroundings

A busy, but comfortable cafe-bar on a busy high street. The staff were very friendly and provided a good service. Prices are on the high end of reasonable, but the food is very good, so you get what you pay for. Excellent coffee. No need to book a table, although that might be recommended at busier times. There is a public car park nearby, and wheelchair users could easily get from the car park to here without difficulty.

Ordered by QR code, easy. Drinks came promptly and food soon after. All dishes tasty, good portions and healthy. Chicken salad, chicken burger, shukshuka with perfect eggs, toasted chicken sandwich and open faced pita with avocado and eggplant. Nice atmosphere with mirrors and lights. Open sliding door to outside, making it cooler.

Nice quiet place, ended up here as Coffee #1 shuts at 5.30! Anyhoo, nice coffee, still on the fence about the value of the flatbread but with coffee shops getting more and more expensive this was good! Can order from the table via a QR code which is nice, but the flip side is how can you tip when you haven't had "service" yet? Anyhoo, it's worth a visit and a nicely laid out and comfortable place to have a coffee and.........

Normally food here is really nice. However, today the eggs were undercooked, bacon luke warm at best, hashbrowns hard inside and toast was more like bread with butter soaked in it. Service was good but unfortunately that was it. Not worth £15 for a breakfast.

Today i had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Conto Lounge, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the entire visit. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start my day.

Has great, varied menu options to cater for all tastes and requirements. All day breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, bar and hot drinks! Super fun vibe, as is usual for a Loungers restaurant. Easy order and pay from the table system, or you can order from the staff if that's more your thing. Very reasonably priced menu.

Great place for a catch-up and drink

I visited for the Monday quiz, great fun and not as busy as other days. All drinks were ordered on the web so we didn't have to leave our table and miss a question! Quizmaster was very enthusiastic.

Popped in for a bite to eat while visiting the area yesterday. Really good food at a good price and had a friendly waitress Amie.

Cosy quirky welcoming, slightly eccentric vibe, nothing white or modern/futuristic here. Great for solo trips or group meet ups.

Very flexible menu you can choose even for vegetarian

I love the conto lounge, lovely staff, amazing atmosphere, so relaxed and friendly. The food was lovely but not as hot as usual, that said the favour was gorgeous (coconut prawns with noodles) my sons really enjoyed thier burgers.

Enjoyed our food, especially the cheesecake, and dog friendly which is a bonus!

Although the food is ok, nothing special, the ambience and services really makes it stand out. Everyone is very helpful and kind, quick service and calm place to go for a bite, have meetings or just stop for a quick drink.

Food is always great from the Conto Lounge. Good quality and always arrives fast. The staff are very helpful, polite and proactive. A nice atmosphere with quirky decor. Only one negative thing is that there are some of the soft seating spaces that are not the cleanest. Because they are busy and dogs are allowed, they can't get a vacuum cleaner out mid day and start cleaning, however they could clean a little deeper despite it being an awkward clean (not easy with the variety of furniture in there) when the place is closed at night/early morning in my opinion. Would still recommend and will continue to be a favourite eatery.

After visiting the Conto Lounge on many a previous occasions, My bother and our partners were looking forward to meeting up and having good food. My brothers bacon and pancakes were loved. My partner and I had the Lounge Brunch. So disappointing. One small piece of toast? Beans were just juice and my Sister in law pointed out to me that the sausage was uncooked (of which I left). When the waitress collected our plates and asked was everything okay I said no, however was ignored. We had driven from Bere Regis to visit you. Not pleasant or an enjoyable meal.

We had a lovely meal on the Saturday of the Mother's Day weekend. It was the busiest I've ever seen it but there was a lovely atmosphere. Ordered drinks and food via the website which was super easy.

Food was OK, shame the staff were so miserable

Goodness, what on earth has happened with Conto Lounge. I have eaten here several times & my previous review was 5⭐️ However my food on today’s visit was somewhat disappointing. I had the Lebanese Falafel Flatbread & sadly it all fell apart somewhat flat in the taste department. The hummus was okay but the falafel were just little crunchy crumb like bits. Perhaps I just chose badly from the menu or perhaps they have a new chef 🤔

great experience. Two out of the three servers were super nice. One guy was a little bit grumpy. Food was really good. Lovely that it was dog friendly and spacious enough that our anxious dog didn't get too overwhelmed.

Regular customer at Conto Lounge Winton. Food is exceptional, however the option to add extra items when you take off items unless its a vegetarian option is a massive negative. Also the 2 for 1 offer that promoted is really complicated & isn't your traditional 2 for 1 offer. I was expecting 2 of the same cocktail for the price of 1 however ordering through the app this is not how the offer works at all, so be advised you will experience this when ordering 2 cocktails which are not for the price of 1. The service is generally good, however when they are busy the service level drops considerably. Overall a good experience but things could be better.

I personally asked for cremated streaky bacon on in my gluten free breakfast bun and it came out with all the fat clearly fatty. I had waited ages so just removed it and call a guy over and told him I was not happy. He just said he will tell the chef for next time. This is absolutely not acceptable. Would not recommend if they are not able to follow clear requests.

Had a brunch, Lounge breakfast with chips and Cappuccino. Toast was burnt ,otherwise, the food was good. Liked the Cappuccino. Good atmosphere, though I noticed the air vents were dirty with dust. Spent £16.85, would definitely come back for some drinks with friends. Thank you.

Brilliant place with a lovely atmosphere. Seated & served quickly, food and drink came quick too. Gorgeous mocha and would 100% recommend the avocado brunch. Flick served us and couldn’t ask for anything else!

All the staff were super friendly, came here for a 21st birthday and got a lovely cocktail from Snowy who served us. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the strawberry sling cocktail was one of the best i’ve had. Really chill atmosphere and will defo be back.

Amazing food I had the chicken avocado and bacon burger and was a big portion with coleslaw and chips. The waiters for our table were also extremely friendly and nice, especially snowy. The birthday girl was also treated to a free cocktail.
