Cookies in Blackpool

I ordered a full English, beans were cheap, hash brown not very nice and the sausage was awful.

Long time customer but probably won't be back. Ignored by staff twice while waiting to be served. They must be doing well if they don't need customers at midday on a Sunday.

Food is definetly gone down hill and price is dear for what you get I will definetly not be going back

Friendly polite staff. The place was nice and warm on a chilly day with a pleasant ambience for a street cafe, clean and tidy with comfy seating. We had a fish finger sandwich (on fresh bread) with perfect chips a pot of tea and a cappuccino coffee. We were passing on foot and saw a sign outside stating it was available so we popped in after shopping nearby - as my friend likes fish finger sandwiches! I am glad we went there. We left not feeling hungry as it was a good portion. Value for money - reasonable. Yes, I would go again and recommend. The food was prepared fresh so took a little time to arrive which I don't have a problem with - it was hot when it arrived with a friendly smile and usual condiments. We were thanked for our custom when we left so they were attentive to their customers. It was very tasty and I would recommend.

Staff Arguing behind the counter between themselves - wasnt really interested when taking my order and swearing saying today has been a s*** show . Not nice when you have just come in to have a quite drink after you finish work Lady with black hair spoke to the chef in a really unpleasant manner. Milkshake was nice but atmosphere 0

Friendly service. Good menu choice and very clean. Felt fresh cooked. Cold drink choice was disappointing- just Fanta or smoothies. Portions disappointing in size for the price . Quite fancy menu for Blackpool

A very nice place to stop for a drink & food. The pea and ham soup is excellent. Will definitely be calling again to try the other items on the menu

Went here with grandchildren and hubby. Food we all had was fresh, hot and delicious. The afters are good too if you can manage one. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be going back.

Came for lunch this week. Really impressed: panini, hot beef roll and chips were all really tasty, fresh and made from quality ingredients. The strawberry milkshakes are enormous and generously topped with cream 😋 Friendly helpful staff. You can see into the kitchen a d it's as spotless as the seating areas. Definitely be back 👍

We were in Blackpool for a dance competition and 18 of us descended upon this little cafe. This may overwhelmed some places.. infact it did to the big lounge further up, opposite the Winter Gardens who said we would have to wait about an hour for food! But not Cookies.. they calmly took each of our orders and prepared and served them so promptly and with a smile! The food was delicious! I guess the only critique I would give is to say… I know the menu is ‘set’, but maybe be a bit more accommodating with slight alteration requests. Your signage outside does not do justice to what you serve inside.

Lovely hot and fresh chips, yummy raspberry cake, very nice waitress, lovely decor, great menu overall. I've been coming here for several years, on most of my trips to Blackpool. Toilets upstairs, didn't see a disabled accessible loo.

A genuinely lovely cafe with super friendly staff , food is good never had a bad experience very much recommend for a bit of brekkie or lunch if your in Blackpool.

First time in this place and I loved it the lady was very friendly who owns/runs the place. The cakes were amazing and the coffee both tasted gorgeous. I will defo be back oh prices were really good as well🥰

The flavour of the £4.50 chocolate milkshake tasted Devine when I visited on the 4/12/23. It had a lovely strong chocolate flavour. Sadly the milkshake wasn’t ice cold. Milk felt room temperature. It would have been a flawless milkshake had they of used ice cold milk. Wouldn’t order it again just because I don’t want room temperature milkshakes.

We found cookies while walking about looking for somewhere to sit down with a coffee and slice of cake. Cookies were very busy and a fast-paced service to keep up with the demand of customers. The place was very clean and tables cleared as soon as they became empty. The service was very friendly and a great atmosphere all round. Coffee and cake was delicious as there is such a wonderful choice of cakes and pastries to choose from. With a menu of various meals, also and at an affordable price.

Visited this cafe both days of our visit to Blackpool. The food is very fresh, tasty and nicely presented. They also do fresh banana milkshakes to die for. But really wanted to give a big shout out to the staff who were not only friendly but ensured that everything was good, everything kept fully stocked and exceptionally clean. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Thank you 😀

Have visited many times on visits to Blackpool and never been disappointed. Lovely friendly staff, prompt service and best scones on Blackpool! Fab choice of cakes and chocolate chip shortbread was also delicious. Nice to sit outside although plenty of space indoors as well. Very good value and toilets although upstairs (may be difficult if you have mobility issues) were nice and clean. Would thoroughly recommend if like me you want to support local businesses.

We went three times as this was my daughters favourite place to go, fully customisable breakfast options, lots of lovely cakes, cookies and other sweet treats. Centrally located and overall just a great experience

Came here with my friends this evening and enjoyed a lovely chicken burger. The service was quick and clean. Very friendly staff who were very happy to assist me with my choice and also made me feel very welcome.

Came here for a quick bite to eat at lunch time. We had a sandwich and various cakes and biscuits which were all really nice. There are lots of tables packed in so it felt a little crowded however this wasn't a problem. Reasonable prices.

Five of my family visited this cafe on New Year's Day and I have to say that the food was disgraceful. The jacket potatoes were burnt and dry, the chips were dry and the egg on my breakfast was "Snotty". Needless to say that I won't be going here again.

Blackppol is not short of cafes but Cookies is a great find. The food was lovelyt and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Stopped off for quick bite just to get out of rain and was really impressed!!! Great selection of light bites and lunches, we ordered chicken bacon mozzarella panini and triple decker club sandwich, both where absolutely beautiful, large portions, everything was fresh and great quality ingredients, we especially liked the homemade coleslaw :) To top it off, the cake selection is amazing!!! Took some cheesecake home for later :) Staff where really pleasant and helpful too!! Actually couldn’t fault the place, lovely lunch and looking forward to my takeaway cheesecake Thank you!!!

A fantastic hidden gem, we went daily for a shopping break. The staff are very friendly and well-liked by locals and visitors alike. Beautifully prepared food that is well worth the money, between our group we tried the burgers, baguettes, jacket potatoes, toasties, pancakes and the cakes are heavenly. If your visiting for a few days take advantage of the reward card.

Called in and had breakfast barms and coffee. I asked if we could swap out tomatoes for mushrooms and this was no problem - and no extra charge either. Food and coffee were piping hot, staff were friendly and chatty. The place was spotlessly clean....

Very overpriced for what we had. Can get a meal elsewhere for the price of a toastie here Forgot one of our meals. There are much better places for next time we are here!!

The food we had was really nice.. despite missing and wrong items on breakfast. After bringing this up with staff, the lady didn’t offer to exchange incorrect items nor replace the missing items. Was absolutely gutted x

First time back since lockdown 2 years ago but so pleased to find staff, food and atmosphere as good as it always was. Enjoyed meal which was hot, well cooked with great service.Looking forward to more visits.

Just popped here on the off chance not expecting too much however was so impressed with the standard of the food. Lasagne was delicious would really recommend. Didn’t have to wait too long as lots of staff about. Friendly staff, clean and comfy, reasonably priced.

Called in for coffee and cake while visiting Blackpool for my mother's 90th birthday with some friends of hers. Drinks and cake were all very good and service was reasonable if not friendly. The difficulty was that the toilets were up a long flight of stairs. One lady with us did manage it but all my mother's friends were in their 70s and it was a bit of a struggle. My mother, in a wheelchair due to her poor mobility, had no chance of climbing the stairs. I thought the law required disabled facilities these days, I must be wrong. There was no sympathy from the staff when we asked about this.

It's a very smart cafe that does good quality food. I had a jacket potato with chicken tikka which was lovely.

Clean, tidy, order at the counter, delivered to a table. Great coffee and a decent breakfast, not the best vegetarian choice but if you like avocado you'll be ok. If you want cake, the choice is great.

Was not impressed, poor quality sausage, got order wrong and no apology from staff. Egg over cooked and charge £1.75 for a round of toast that looked like it was the cheapest bread you can buy. Overall extremely disappointing Latte was okay

Every where was busy managed to get a table in hear after searching about. Had cake and coffee cake was delicious a bit overpriced for cakes but tea and coffee was reasonable.

Popped in here while out shopping for gifts, spotlessly clean very reasonable menu food looks good and is very tasty good range of snacks ,sarnies, cakes and dinners, well worth popping in.

Had breakfast here before checking into our hotel, opted for a full English which was very nice, you had to pay extra for tea/coffee which I thought was a bit poor but overall the food was very nice.

Popped in today, was just going for a quick cuppa before appointments, but decided on having a bite to eat, opted for the five item breakfast,, please cook the tomato more, it was barely warm, I am not sure if they were running out of Beans, but I could not believe the amount on the plate, I never had many on mine and my husband had even less on his, so portion control needs some attention.

Would call again when in Blackpool staff very helpful , clean nice and near to shops had lovely scones with cream and jam.

I’ve visited here for the last four years, twice a year. Every single time I’ve been met with the same cheery friendly smiles from the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are most professional. I’ve only had coffee and toast but I’ve seen the breakfast and they look really delicious. Cookies has been run by the same guy all the time I’ve visited and it’s always spotless. Local businesses such as this deserve support to help them survive. Over Pride they were busy but the service was just the same as ever.

This is a great wee cafe. Had a lovely breakfast one morning and back the next day for cake and coffee. About 7 or 8 different cakes to choose from. There are tables outside for when the weather is good. I’ll visit again next time I’m in Blackpool

Spotlessly clean, with polite and friendly staff, there's nothing to dislike about this lovely cage. The star of the show for us was a delightfully sickly hot chocolate, with cream, marshmallows and the trimmings. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

When in Blackpool I always try and go to Cookies as they do the best soup all fresh made on the premises, I especially love the pea and ham best I have ever had and lovely and thick delicious. keep up the good work. Thank you.

I always use cookies when I'm in Blackpool they serve the best homemade soup u will get and believe me I've eaten in a load of places their, I especially love the pea and ham soup it's always delicious. Always prefer to support local where possible rather than the chains so in we went to this busy cafe with what looked like impressive cake. Good lunch menu of sandwiches, panini, salads and baked potatoes . We chose a soup and toastie and a hot baguette. Served fresh came very quickly attractively served and tasted delicious. No room for cake although it was tempting!

Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Didn't but did but it looked amazing. All appeared very clean and will definitely return.
