The staff are lovely in here. The ones who I've dealt with are really friendly and know their deals in order to help you get extras for a cheaper meal deal. You'd think it was a solo family owned business the way the staff are in here.

Went in & ordered an egg & ssge sarnie, great start at 8 in morning, no eggs, so just made do with the sausage while waitimg for the bus. Worst ssge sarnie eva & I've had a few in my 57 yrs. Margarine on it, no butter. Ssges were like a dogs rubber toy, couldnt chew them as they were like rubber. Took me 5 minutes to chew enough to swallow, so binned the rest. Waist of money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAFF!

1, Browns Buildings, Dipton, Stanley DH9 9ABUsual excellent food served by very pleasant staff.. This gem never fails to impress. We travel over 17 miles to sample their food, so it must be good.

41 Manor RoadWhat a great Sunday Lunch we had in the Miners. Ample amounts of every constituent contained in the meal. The chicken was succulent with an amazing stuffing mix which is a meal in itself. Delicious. The veggies were very well cooked. They were fresh and with the few roasted potatoes and a lovely mashed potato included also, it made for a exemplary lunch. A nice team of waiting on staff were evident, working well around the many diners. The place itself is cosy, tradional , warming and comfortable. We had a very nice , relaxing time in there. It is worth visiting as I am sure you will like it if you give it a try.
