Fantástica comida con grandes porciones. Todo fue perfecto. Hemos harto de una bolsa de perro ya que la parrilla mixta era enorme. Buen servicio. Mesas limpias. Personal amable.

La comida era muy buena. Servicio de mesa muy bueno. La noche fue malcriada por un guardia de seguridad que fue muy grosero. Creí que era el dueño del lugar. No es acogedor en absoluto. Maleducado y desagradable. Primera experiencia de nuestra visita echada a perder por su actitud. No volvería a ir.

One of the best best Indian mix grills we have had. The portions are huge and prices very reasonable. The place is like an English pub but the food is Indian grills, and curries. The bread, rice and everything we ordered were all fresh and great tasting.

Ordered over £90 worth of food this evening from Copper Fox, expecting a complete meal. The curries arrived, but the sides—an essential part of the meal—were missing. When I called, I spoke to Ash, who blamed Deliveroo, claiming the order was too large for a single driver and there was nothing she could do. However, after contacting Deliveroo, they confirmed this was a lie. Only one rider was assigned to the order, and no additional driver was requested by the restaurant. So, not only was the order incomplete, but Ash decided to pass the blame dishonestly instead of addressing the issue. Deliveroo’s refund policy only covers the missing items, which is ridiculous when the meal deal was rendered useless without the sides—it’s like delivering a burger with no bun or fish without chips! Between Copper Fox’s poor service, blatant lies, and mediocre food, this place is an absolute no-go. Won’t be ordering again from Sloppy Flop.

I’ve only been there on quite weekdays but I’ve always enjoyed the food. I’ve maybe been 3 times so I do recommend There are Friendly bouncers who show you to your seat

First time at Copper Fox, Indian food not my favourite dish, but food was very good at a reasonable price and polite and friendly staff, would definitely eat there again.

Came in with my family, and we were instantly treated with disrespect. The security guard was acting as the host, and when we inquired about where to sit, he was incredibly rude when my mum was a little bit confused as to why security was working as service staff. He proceeded to make a nasty comment “do you know where you even are?” just because my mum went to speak with someone at the bar after he was rude and didn’t provide us with any help. when we turned back to speak with him he continued to give us attitude just for trying to get a table, and continued being rude to my mother. it was appalling. the pub itself was grimey, looked bad, and even though the entire pub was empty we were seated next to another table right at the back of the pub, which honestly felt like it was done on purpose because he clearly had issues with us. I don’t know how an establishment can hope to get customers when as soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by hostility.

The Mixed Grill is good. The food is good too, but the sizzlers unfortunately throw a lot of smell around, that will get on your clothes and your hair. As long as you don't really mind that, it's a good place to go for some nice food.

First, ordered poppadoms.Had to return because they were stale.Obviously been sitting there. Then we ordered a Chicken Jalfrezi. Oh my God...vile. No peppers.Bland.No taste. Worst ive ever had.

one of the best Desi bar'n'grills around. such great, clean, fresh and authentic flavours. what do i mean by clean? the food wasn't swimming in oil or ghee. me and a pal had a medium mixed grill, garlic and cheese naan, a butter chicken, rice and masala chips. more than enough for 2 to share. on my 3rd visit so far

I have eaten at the Copper Fox on a number of occasions and it is rapidly becoming a local favourite of mine. The food is always delicious, the curries are fantastic and so are the mixed grills. There is also a wide selection of vegetarian options. You will not be disappointed. The staff are always friendly and the customer service is 10 out of 10. You must try the Copper Fox Grill if you're visiting the Harborne/Selly Oak area.

Good food, easy atmosphere. No cask ale but that's not what we went for!

Amazing place to eat . First time for us and atmosphere was great , Thursday night and it was busy but this didn't affect the service at all. Vast menu at great prices - well presented and piping hot -large portions . Parking wasnt great but managed to get a spot out on the street.

Regular customers of Copper Fox. Never experienced a problem before until today. I had injured my back in a car accident a few weeks ago and myself and my family came for food, 4 people in total. We asked politely if we could sit in a booth as it would be more comfortable for me and was rudely told no as their company policy is that the booth is for 5 people. I asked if they were reserved, they were not. We then asked the manager and was again rudely told we can’t sit there even though the place was dead. If we did sit there we would be moved. Even ordering the food the prices have become ridiculous. Our drinks came to £20 and 2 of them were soft drinks? Will not be returning, terrible rude staff and management

Did previously leave a 5 star review After being a loyal customer for over a year spending a lot of money each visit. They decided to not let myself and my family us sit in a booth today after the premises was half empty. Company policy apparently even though they are not reserved Pathetic

We visited at 5.15pm on a Friday - a Security Guard at the entrance was off-putting. We got a table for 4 and I went to order drinks. All OK. I went to order 2 starters (no table service here) and buy the time I returned to our table there were 3 sets of plates and cutlery (?) Our starters arrived, together with 3 unlabelled (and without use by dates) bottled of "sauces". Even though only 2 of us ordered starters the table was full of unnecessary plates. Our onion bhajees were over salted and seemed to have more potato (!?) than onion. I then went and ordered our 4 main courses and the whole thing became a joke as there was no room to actually put the excessive amount of crockery, never mind the food. The chicken tikka pieces were over salted, the garlic naan bread was actually paratha thin, the king prawn saag lacked prawns and the garlic rice was plain boiled. The saving grace (to get 2 stars) was the (initially off putting) Security Guard who took great care and showed kindness when ensuring the blind person in our group got to the toilet and back to us safely (thank you!!) Unfortunately, we had great hope for this pub restaurant but won't be returning.

He estado viniendo aquí por un tiempo y comenzó muy bien hasta que las últimas veces que he estado allí está empezando a bajar cuesta abajo un poco , no hacen ensalada de cebolla tradicional solo lechuga de inicio con unos cuantos jalapeños echados encima , y las salsas de inicio son las peores que he probado y me encantan los popadoms así que estaba un poco destripado el curry de la comida no tiene consistencia es como si las cebollas y la salsa están separados en la salsa no es cremoso es un poco en todo el lugar naans son increíbles como de costumbre , 2 guardias de seguridad allí se creen dueños del lugar , renuncian directo y se encuentran descortés uno pensaría que estaba allí lugar y no estaban simplemente empleados hay tantos lugares como este que realmente tienes que estar en tu juego A , mi nuevo ir es el ferrocarril en West Brom si te encanta este tipo de comida entonces esos lugares es una necesidad absoluta 👌

Get the chilli fish. You won’t regret it! The food here is completely delicious and by all accounts very authentic as there were lots of Asian families tucking into the incredible food. Great mixed grill, to-die-for butter chicken and really solid Bhuna. The garlic naan was really good - not too doughy & stodgy but thinner and full of flavour. All in all an exceptional meal and reasonably priced for good portions. Well worth a visit.

The restaurant is very well decorated, it is clean and the atmosphere is good. The bad thing is that you have to go to a counter to order the food and pay on the spot, the drinks are paid separately and above all the flavor of their dishes stands out. The bad thing is that they are slow, the portions are not very big and it is expensive 🫰🏼

Great food and the staff are helpful the atmosphere is always good. Sky sports live is on, you don't feel rushed to leave either love the place.

Went for lunch . Great food. Had tikka chicken.. sheikh kebab.. rice's.. salads.. poppadoms.. All lovely.. Staff helpful..and down to earth..

I have been here 3 times and every time the food has been superb, we usually opt for the mixed grill, great value for money. I would definitely advise booking if going weekends, mid week is fine. Great coverage of football ⚽️ if you are a armchair supporter. All in all great value for money and a lively pub atmosphere for me a new concept in Indian catering 10 out of 10 to the owners love it. Only draw back would be some of the staff can be a bit stroppy.

Beautiful curry fresh naans foods really nice but my favourite is popadoms and sauces and the sauces are by far the worst sauces I’ve ever tasted and they don’t do onion salad you get a plate of letttuce and carrots with a few jalapeño on top real let down it is considering the foods lovely

Went Wednesday 19th Sept with family who live in Portugal very impressive

I used to be a regular here, here most weekends watching the footy or with the lads having a big mixed grill but the prices have sky rocketed! I can't justify paying them prices anymore, lost a customer here and im afraid they'll lose many more, such a shame

Ordered a takeaway from here. Absolutely 5 star on all levels. Great portion sizes and food was fresh and tasty. Will be ordering again from here. Choc cake huge 😋 and gorg ice-cream too. Fast delivery too. Perfect!

Great food. Very fast service.

This is a very popular place for group meals and family meals. There were 6 of us and we ordered 3 main curry dishes and there was plenty. One naan per person was appropriate. The draft beer was really good, there was a beautiful outdoor space, and the food was delicious. There are a lot of people inside so advance reservations are almost essential. The mint sauce was a bit of a culture shock (in a bad way).

Ha bajado colina no hay tazón con cebollas y menta se obtienen botellas de plástico en su lugar no muy higiénico, la comida no era el estándar que solía quejarse al gerente 3 veces, ella simplemente se quedó allí comida desinteresada se llevó insípido y frío, seguro para decir que no volveremos. CUIDADO con la comida precocinada y las nans eran como elásticas precocinadas de nuevo que pena que solía ser una comida encantadora

Almost Perfect Grill House !!! Surprisingly , one of the best food experiences in Birmingham . This traditional yet modern ambience along with grill platters and quick service made it an overall great experience. The seating area is adequate and I love the sofa / couches with the wooden tables making it a good mix . It has a sports bar theme ,service was quick and staff were efficient . Now coming to the food :) We ordered a boneless grill (the grill platters are definitely recommended here) Butter Naan Masala Chips (recommended) Paneer Makhani Soya Grill Hara bhara kebab The portion size is really good with friendly prices hence value for money . Have a grill feast !

A pretty decent punjabi pub grill. Nice decor, and layout, good location of screens. Good range of ales and spirits. Food is decent, nothing special, as similar to every other grill place. Though enjoyed food. A little more expensive than some other places, but it's worth it, if you want a decent chill out place and a range of ales.

On first inspection, the photos and reviews sold it to me. Not good quality food at all, if you like Indian food, I wouldn't go here. Currys tasted watery and lack flavour. Maybe the grills are their strong point. But I honestly wouldn't waste your time. Staff and people are lovely though. But that's all I could say. Photo of how much we left..

My first time coming to this pub since it used to be the Hillyfields pub. Decor is nice, once we were seated we ordered food at a hatch, it was a meal for 4 of us and we waited no time at all. 3 large mixed grills and nuggets an chips. OMG the grills are huge. Warning! I think the large is to share with at least 2 maybe 3 people, oh well we pushed through the absolute tower of various meat and fish, which was all well cooked and full of flavour. It was definitely worth the meat induced coma that was to follow. We're were even offered take away dishes for the meat we could not handle. Well done guys... even hoping out the back with drinks they have a welcoming plesent area to sit. Definitely will be going back in the future.

We always come here to experience great food and the service is always prompt. The Copper Fox Grill also has a lively atmosphere and has quickly become our favourite spot for food since moving into the area.

Sad to say but went out on a lovely walk with two family members….. stopped at what seemed to be family friendly pub for one drink as it is a warm day….. only to be met by bullish god complex behaviour and hostility from the sercurity guard…. The issue seemed to be that we had our dogs which were on leads outside in the smoking area whilest we enjoyed one refreshment…. Then to to continue our walk…… considering one of my family members with me is recovering from cancer it was clearly not needed she was to be shouted and goaded by the security guard….. who 2 mins prior was blasting music from his car on the car park….. Seems clear to me that it was not us making a disturbance… we had no issue leaving and taking our business elsewhere, but the lack of any signs to make aware we was not welcome was not to be seen….. aggressive lady across the bar who told us we have to declare we had dogs outside which I did not know was policy or law. She then said we could then put our drinks in plastic cups only to take back her statement and lie that she hadn’t said…. Safe to say we left our full drinks and in complete shock walked away from this venue…. A complete shambles and I would not recommend this what so ever if you want some manners and friendly staff.

Es triste decirlo, pero salió de paseo con dos miembros de la familia... se detuvo en lo que parecía ser un pub familiar para tomar una copa, ya que es un día cálido... solo para ser recibido por el comportamiento complejo de Dios alcista y la hostilidad del guardia de seguridad... El problema parecía ser que teníamos nuestros perros que estaban en plomo afuera en el área de fumadores mientras disfrutamos de un refresco... Luego para continuar nuestra caminata considerando que uno de los miembros de mi familia conmigo se está recuperando del cáncer claramente no era necesario que fuera gritada y animada por el guardia de seguridad que 2 minutos antes estaba haciendo sonar música desde su automóvil en el estacionamiento. Me parece claro que no fuimos nosotros los que causamos disturbios... no tuvimos ningún problema en irnos y llevarnos nuestro negocio a otro lado, pero la falta de señales para darnos cuenta de que no éramos bienvenidos no se veía... .. a una mujer agresiva al otro lado del bar que nos dijo que teníamos que declarar que teníamos perros fuera de lo cual no sabía que era política o ley. Luego dijo que luego podríamos poner nuestras bebidas en vasos de plástico solo para retractarnos de su declaración y mentir que no había dicho... Seguro decir que dejamos nuestras bebidas completas y en completo shock nos alejamos de este lugar... Un completo desastre y no recomendaría esto lo que es así nunca si quieres algunos modales y personal amable.

Never order this food for takeaway. Collected my food and travelled home . Realised that there were 2 items missing and the rotis were burnt . We were told we had to go back if there was a problem . So my food I have gets cold aswell as wasting my own fuel . I said that’s fine can you please add something to my order for the inconvenience and petrol wasted no we will not and they put the phone down . Disgrace

The place itself generally wasn’t too bad, the initial impression at the entrance absolutely shocking. A couple of black guys, maybe securities like two untrained bulldogs looking at us giving it large and a bit of sarcasm coming from someone working for 80 quid a day and waiting for a left over chicken wing. PUT A GIRL THERE OR SOMETHING FOR GODS SAKE, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???

The food came quickly and it was very tasty. Had the butter chicken and steamed rice, it was probably the best butter chicken I've ever had. When you order poppadoms, you don't just get the small little pots of sauce, but you can pick bottles of what you like

Went here after booking was made only to still wait 30 minutes to be seated. The waiters were OK but couldn't be bothered to place the food all down the table, instead opting to stop at one end and leaving us to shuffle and place in the middle of the table. Food was OK and portions good size although we had 2 different chicken dishes such tasted somewhat alike. Overall I might go again but midweek as apposed to a weekend.

Ordered through deliveroo so I can't speak for service or atmosphere but we've tried a few Indian restaurants and they were all ok at best but this one's become our favorite. Nothing was mediocre or bland, everything had flavour and most importantly: the chicken from the butter chicken was juicy and soft!! Every butter chicken I've had so far had the driest chicken ever so this restaurant gets 5 stars for getting it right. Unfortunately, I have no photos as we demolished it when it arrived but everything was a-ok 👌

Ok I don't understand why this place gets so many good reviews I did look into the kitchen and notice that there was mountain of chicken that the chef was trying to sort out. We had food I had the large mixed grill, some of it tasted ok however the chicken itself tasted like wet dog like it had been sweaty to for too long. I would definitely not return here again. The place felt like a cattle market a very busy one.

It's good but now to reserve a table they want to ur credit card number. Not acceptable. The tikka fish is great and the mixed grills sizzle everywhere

Arrived taken to a seat by a waitress sat down read the menu. Waved at the staff nothing after 25 mins told by a neighbouring couple you need to order at the hatch. Wasn’t told this to begin with sat there hungry ignored and humiliated left as would not pay a single penny to people that would treat a customer like that!

I can not recommend this place enough! The food, atmosphere and service is exceptional. I come to visit my parents from Essex very few weeks and I’m sure to pay a visit. I love their Dal Mukani! It’s the best. Also the highlight for coming here is Jason, the super friendly doorman who ALWAYS looks after us especially as my mum is so frail. No matter how busy they have been he has always sorted us a table especially one night after we’d driven back from Essex my mum was tired and hungry. Thank you Jason for your kindness! @managment he defo deserves a promotion!!! See you soon and can’t wait to experience more gorgeous food.

Arrived and only 2 tables taken in entire pub, other tables not reserved til 7pm (It was 3pm) The waitress said we could not sit on the larger table despite me pointing out that I'll be gone hours before the table is reserved for, we couldn't have a table for 6 reserved 4 hours later but we were sat on a table for 4 reserved at 5pm! Lol When I pointed out this discrepancy to the waitress she looked dumbfounded but was adamant we still couldn't sit there. Then had to wait 75 minutes for food and not even an apology. Food is quite nice TBF but you're paying restaurant prices so it's expected. Have heard from a friend that the bouncer/security also has a lack of customer service here which isn't surprising, young girl taking the orders very polite and friendly just a shame the service is so bad you even have to order your food at the counter then go to the bar to order and queue up again for drinks

As a big lover of Indian food, we were recommended to try this place. The service was great and staff were polite and welcoming. We did find it a little more expensive than usual places we go to. The beer was a lovely pint and enjoyed it, sadly the Curry's seemed to lack a depth in flavour. I would recommend booking for sure as it is a busy place.

Food is good. Service is awful. Staff don’t seem to care, there’s no where to queue to order food. If you want started you have to order and pay, wait for it to come, eat, then queue for 5 mins to order main, then wait for that to come etc.

Awful from start to finish! Was part of a birthday group of 11 of us. Staff didn’t have a clue! Popadoms all over place to start, 2 bottles of cheap mix sauces for 11 people (5 of us had paid for dips!). Asked for onion salad to go with dips and bought out a plate of sliced onions!! Terrible! Main came and they mixed up a hot madras for a chicken curry so one person got bland curry they didn’t order and other had madras that blew their head off and couldn’t eat. Called for manager who bought the security man with him who was very aggressive and did nothing. Blamed us for not swapping the meals as they were given to the wrong person! How was we to know they had the wrong meals!! It wasn’t until I tried both and realised they had the wrong meals. My chicken tikka masala was basically tomato soup with bit of chicken. We had an elderly lady with us too who didn’t eat curry, we were made to order 2 children’s meals just to accommodate her meal requests. Terrible service, didn’t see one member of staff smile or help! Basically a local pub cashing in on the side with curries!! Never will we go back!

Came here today with my partner who kept saying this place was amazing. It was the worst Indian restaurant I've been to. The service was awful. My partner's food came while mine hadn't and I waited too long that I was put off by the whole thing. I definitely won't be coming here again. Not happy.
