Having never been before, first impressions were good. I was very pleased with the service & the food was very nice & value for money. Everywhere was clean & tidy & the atmosphere was nice.

We had a Christmas meal here yesterday. The mains was terrible the starters was a joke and pudding was about the best thing and that wasn't fantastic. On the turkey dinner the roast potatoes looked like they were 4 years old and solid as a rock the carrots was from a tin and gravy watered down. I had the Xmas burger thinking it might be something special and trust me it was 😂 it's something I won't forget and won't be trying again. Beef pattie was cremated The chef should be sacked total meal cost for 12 people was £236 and I definitely won't be returning to eat there again. If you want a lovely meal for Christmas go somewhere else this is basically a weather spoons you will be having your Christmas dinner with the local piss heads with music so loud you can't talk to one and other. The bar was rammed and took an ages to get a drink. Some of the staff are fairly friendly and cheerful is the only positive.

We visit the corn exchange regularly as they welcome our dog with treats water and a special dog menu. We eat there and the menu is a culinary delight cooked to perfection. The staff are what really the stars of the show. They are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. My partner owns a martial arts school and we are having our Christmas party at the corn exchange as we know it will be perfect.

Food was really nice, and a good choice. We had to find the seats we had been reserved as no one was there to greet us. Found it pretty quick though, luckily. Food takes a little while to come but worth the wait.

Avoid using their EV chargers I just got hit with a £170 fine for apparently parking longer than the maximum time permitted eventhough I was parked in the designated EV charging spots and wasn't not charging longer than 50 mins. I've never received a fine before till now.

No wonder it was nearly empty, Got to be the worst burger I've ever had, suppose to be southern spicy. No spice and it had a cumberland sausage on it? with hardly any fries and no side dishes.

Lovely staff especially Victoria!! She made my dad’s birthday wonderful! She even wrapped his birthday cake up to take home!!

visited the corn exchange to celebrate a family birthday. staff very friendly and helpful. lovely pub . also my husband liked that he could still see the football on the tv from where we were sitting without it spoiling the atmosphere . great time x

Need better service and food was a big disappointment, we were told that the manager would come over but never did. New chef recommended, as I don't think he knew what was on the menu.

Called in for fish & chips today. All burnt and overcooked. 13 chips (bullets) Batter totally burnt, fish chewy and inedible. Took it back, was assured of a refund, which never came. Walked out. Won t be back again. Basically need someone who can cook basic foods and more staff.

this is usually one of our favourite places for food, but we we're totally unimpressed with the "new menu". seems they have taken all the favourites off the menu, no surf turf cluck, no platters, to be honest we we're hard pushed to decide, went with the burgers, not impressed! edible but not much taste and hardly any salad on bun, handful of fries, and 2 onion rings. (portion sizes have reduced considerably ), we had ordered side salad as we like to put extra on , ha ! the portion they bought out was in a smaller pot than the coleslaw! and to charge 2.95, for it I think is absolutely taking the mick. (see photos). I'd like to add that it seemed very messy-untidy unloved, with food on the floor , tables sticky, no cutlery/napkins on some tables, had to go and find on other tables, seems like they have lost their finesse. Sorry, but i think it will be a very long time before we will be visiting here again. ☹️.

Had a meal here. Partner ordered a burger but forgot to ask for the sauce to be removed. Food came and noticed the sauce. More than happy to change it and meal came out within minutes. Hot and fresh

Usual pub food but it tastes decent and never personally had a bad meal. Sports are shown TVs.

In a party for 10 but speaking only for myself. Turkey dinner not good very disappointing Turkey was a cut off a Turkey roll,veg cold,mash tasteless pigs in blanket burnt, roast pots very nice and yorkie was good. Dessert lovey. Note to self do not order roast dinner again.

I’ve been here for food a few times before and it’s been lovely ,however yesterday I had a hunters chicken and it must of been off or something as I ended up spending the rest of the day throwing up and being unwell and today .

Visit for lunch with two of our daughters. Food first rate. Prices good. Only complaint is we were given two glasses with lipstick marks. Dirty glasses are not acceptable.

Have been eating here for years and parking on the carpark every time. Just had £100 parking fine for staying to eat our meal for an hour and 2 minutes. I have been sent a lovely picture of my car coming into the main entrance and leaving. I have literally just drove back there to check signs and you are now only allowed a 30 minute maximum stay. Firstly not many people will be eating a full meal within 30 mins and frankly you don’t always get your food within 30 mins. Me and my family will no longer be coming back as I can no longer park long enough to enjoy a meal.

Thursday 22 August. First time back here in 5 years. 2x lunch specials. Excellent value tender chicken in my hunters chicken and gammon was perfectly cooked. Served on a skillet with fried onions so a little bit different. There were a number of deals ie bogof on burgers Thursday and classics 2 for £12.49 Monday to Friday. Steaks looked good and a few different twist to meals on menu. Got to mention the staff. There was a young girl serving the food who bought the food out with a smile and checked everything was ok. Also she sprayed and wiped and restocked every table as it was cleared. 5* for that as a lot of places don't do this enough. We will be back as there was a lot on the menu we would like to try. Well done corn exchange.

Came here for food and drinks and the place has dropped lately food is poor and cold and service is shocking and staff are rude and not very pleasant won’t be bringing my money or service back here again, used to be such a lovely family place now it’s a dive needs new management and ownership to make it a great pub again

Had a lovely meal for a 12th birthday all the meals came out together very helpful staff sorted out cheapest way to order. Definitely be going again.

Lived locally all our lives but never been here before. We should have gone sooner as the food was so good. The drinks are expensive, but everywhere is now. Service was great, staff couldn’t have been nicer.

Not great, the food was tasteless and we waited over an hour. My glass was filthy, covered in pink lipstick. Won’t be visiting again.

Sat in the sun on table 69, the bar man scared the life out of me bringing our drinks out but was really friendly and his service definitely made up for it. Food was nice but could have a little more salad with the flatbread.

Loved The Corn Exchange, went this afternoon, very disappointed, always taken our little dog, could still take dog in, but only bar area, being disabled couldn't sit on high stools, was so looking forward to have an anniversary meal. Sadly came back home

Called here on Saturday for a last minute booking for 7 which they said was fine. We turned up 10 mins later and the table was ready. We were a table of 4 adults and 3 children and we ordered: Sirloin steak sizzler Burger Chick n mix Kids burger The sharing meat bbq platter Southern fried chicken flatbread All the food was good apart from the chicken Fillets on the chick n mix. It was very dry and had a strange texture. The beef rib on the sharing platter was amazing! Great service throughout and a good choice of beers. The main reason for the 4 stars is the condition of the womens toilets. They were both blocked and we had to use the disabled toilets instead. Overall, a lovely Saturday evening and we would return.

Popped in for an early lunch , greeted at the bar by the friendly member of staff who took my order . Food was delivered fast as usual , and the quality of food was amazing as always. Don't forget to add your car reg to their new parking system at the bar but you'll be kindly reminded to do so if you forget

Not been here in a while food was lovely, great service and friendly staff

Food was lovely! However when we immediately walked through the door we was told 'we needed to be done in 1 hour and 30 minutes' we had reserved the table prior to coming and even though it was mothers day it was very quiet so we're taken back with the bluntness. Also when ordering food we were told we had to order all at the same time even though we were paying separately as they needed the food to come all together, the server was also rude when doing this. My food (I ordered a chicken Sunday roast) arrived alot later than everyone else's at my table and when chasing it up with the server (this server was polite by the way) she said she would chase it and came back and said it had just gone in. This was already a good 15 to 20 minutes after the rest of my table had been served their meals so we were not served all together as originally stated. Noisy atmosphere also with the table next to us screaming and shouting at the football even though there's a designated bar area to watch sports. Overall lovely food but disappointed with service and atmosphere

Great night on a Monday for the quiz

Dropped by here for a quick meal and to shoot some pool with my brother. I paid £32 for a sirlion steak and a mixed grill. Not a bad price compared to other places. Nice range of drinks, to choose from on draft and in the fridge. There are quite a few TVs to watch sport on and two pool tables, which cost £1.50 a game. All in all a decent experience here.

Ordered same drinks , 3 rounds the cash round was 1 pound dearer than the 2 card payments .. i smell a employee scam going on . As if the beer is not dear enough in this place . Hard to get served because they look after the crowed who block the the bar off first . Lower grade beers is more expensive than the premium stuff else where . Staff look scruff and disinterested . No wander the place has died of death . Needs a good shake up . Better places better value .

Popped in for an evening meal. We ordered gammon skillet which was not sizzling, peas were cold, chips were over cooked. Scampi tasted of old cooking oil and peas were cold. Disappointed 😞
