Costa Coffee in Bristol, City of

We had the drive thru option at this Costa store. There wasn’t any cars waiting infront of us but had a wait, it seemed that one female was doing all the work herself - taken the order, prepping the item and taking payment. Once driven past the front of the store the Costa there were three employees at the front / desk with no customers - maybe better placement?

Awful experience, waited for ages in the queue while 2 staff behind the bar were running around struggling and clearly stressed while this girl who’s name I couldn’t get was strolling around walking past the till as If she was too good to serve me. She had ginger hair and looks young, she needs some customer service lessons! I never see the staff not stressed out trying to do a thousand things.

Racist. Female cashiers very rude and abrupt and Shouting down the headset. Then shift manager Helen even MORE racist and rude. I was so insulted i left without ordering. BLACK PEOPLE STAY CLEAR OF HENGROVE COSTA YOU ARE NOT MADE RO FEEL WELCOME. ALL THESE RACIST STAFF NEED TO BE SACKED AS BLACK LIFES MATTERS

Having a little time whilst my Partner was at an appointment I called at this fairly-new branch of Costa. To be honest I didn’t really w3ant a coffee but I wanted a drink and I needed to kill a bit of time. The queue at the servery was quite long and the two staff behind the counter were working hard to serve customers as quickly as possible. Standing in the queue I had the opportunity to watch the screened advertisements loop around, and consider my choice of drink. A frappé seemed a good alternative; as it was likely to refresh me. Then, courtesy of the adverts, I saw there was a new range of flavours including a Mango option. Sold! It was a very refreshing drink, lovely and cold on what was a very warm mid-afternoon. When I told my Partner what I had enjoyed, she was a tad jealous.
